I wouldnt be surprised if we bash through and start the next leg upto 10 before the end of the month on new member uptake in 2016 it would still be a bargain , no doubt we will hear some valuable insights from the annual sales conference later this month which happens to be 11 days before tep.l's year end and as has been posted already reccord new members joining of those they are taking record numbers of services ( final calcs for what that means to company value will be determined by the missing piece of the puzzle which will be the churn rate and actual spend per customer )
Soros , Im all for rational debate and chat as you say its a discussion board intrevestor refused to engage in any form of chat which is evedent in that he didnt respond to a single question when I asked him about the source of his non facts . Discussion by its very nature is a two way street having an assosiation with tep for many years both as an investor trader and a distributor doesnt mean I know it all but I am uptodate . I am always happy to hear others views as you well know and am never the first to be rude , The best collective undertanding will always be gained from open discussion and im of the mind someone wearing a bill board and earplugs has no place on a discussion forum. I am not going to take offence as same typical respose as 6 weeks ago as you will undoubtably let me know whats changed apart from the continued reccord new members and BG reporting higher energy consumptions this year leading to thier mega profit increase ( im taking that with a small pinch of salt btw as its surely more to do with wholesale price falls and not passing on reductions but who can blame them as its not been great news for them over the last few years )
Intrivestor - You've managed to get the same typical response from freeled that I got before Christmas. How you can have any rational discussion of business performance with his condescending 'you know nothing' type comments is beyond me. Freeled - The point of a discussion board is to share views and comments to try to get a better collective understanding of the underlying performance of a business. Your relentless attacking of anyone who dare say anything other than 'the company is wonderful' prevents contributors posting what they really think, or indeed posting at all. What do you, yourself, get out of the board? If you put all your effort into suppressing other peoples' views then surely you're not gaining any new insights from hanging around here?
1) If one attends regular Networking events, across the UK, one WILL be 'attacked' by a Distributor, or two, or three, wholly committed individuals, convinced that joining their business will "change the World" 2) How many Distributors have joined, ever, since the Company started? Do you know? Far from being 'thin on the ground' Richard, there are plenty around... To be honest though Richard, please don't bother wasting your precious time replying, because I'm tired of you now. I've had my fun, and you've done nothing to dissuade me from my views. Good bye and good luck.
Honesty is always the best policy , I was thinking how would you meet lts of distributors as they are spread pretty thin unless you a waiter in Pizza express or maybe on a six star cuise ship ? I cant imagine how or why else you would do such a thing maybe you could share with the board
I've got to be honest with you Richard - I've met plenty of Distributors like you, those who've been brainwashed into becoming 'followers of the pig' without question, but you, Richard, have taken the prize for being the most 'interesting' character. Thank you for being so amusing...probably without even knowing it. Cheerio Richard.
If being right is of critical importance you'd fare better on an English skills web chat site once your comprehension skills are suitably developed , rather than spouting rubbish on an investment site for which you display no talent whatsoever for such as reading a set off accounts having a passing interest in what your commenting on is also a bonus. A little in depth research can oft be turned into healthy profits whereas rash assumptions inevitably always lead to financial disaster's
lol - at least I can spell, Richard. Oh to be enthralled by your missives Richard - I shall miss you.
I see your little richard shrinking almost as fast as your bobby balls have you run out of psychotic smoke which has stymied your ill thought out reasoning intrivestor
Goodnight, Dick. Sleep well in your deluded little world.
Are you trying to ramp up the share price by infering that distribution costs have been halved in 5 years ? Fogvive my health sceptisism but only Yesterday you didnt know how the numbering system for members worked. Today however you have intimate knowledge of commision payments stretching back years ? I put it to you that only distribution costs are itemised in the accounts which would include a whole lot of things like the supply of new mobile phones , discontinued promos ect ect ect but a sensible chap woud know that so back up your newest incredulous statement with the source of your new found non fact and surprise everyone Mr Random
...and just one more thing Richard, turnover up 98% in the past five years, commission payments up 48%...cough, cough, splutter
I agree, you're not my pal, because I could never be friends with a dick. Anyway, did you see the FT article last week? Or are they just being negative too? And if you didn't see it, then, well, what can I say. Cheerio Richard.
so the answer to your staement , yes I have 20/20 knowledge of new member growth ;-)
intrevestor , lets stick to facts not suppositions , Firstly Im not your pal Miss calculation 1 on your part , The account numbers are in fact allocated sequentially although there are two books running one for homeowners which are starting 771 now a tennant members book which start 9 I only report the homeowner number increases to mitigate in some part the churn effect on growth . To the second part of your post distributors income per member has been in decline as the publics telecoms usage profile has changed from landline to mobile and broadband costs have been falling along with two consecutive years of warmer than average winters ( no remuneration on standing charges and not so many payable land line calls being made these days however trends are achanging as we speak as fiber comesinto its own and will become the norm going forward we are going to see a reversal on declining broadband spends in the uk across the board and a steady increase in mobile spends ( down to data ) which undoubtably led to BT's EE aqusition plans . Distributors income have never been tied to profits but to turnover ( billing revenue ) although this is slightly adjusted for active distributors by way of tax free fantastic perks which come by way of eaisy to win competitions. To be fair they have to pay us if they make a loss or a profit in any given year reserves have to be built up to fund expansion as well as cover periods of adverse trading conditions if your a proper company
Now at 3 year lows for no real reason other than shorters pushing their luck. From last trading report RNS.... "We remain on track to deliver record revenues, profits, and earnings per share for the current financial year. This is reflected in the 15.8% increase in our interim dividend, and our intention to pay a total dividend of 46p for the full year."
Too tempting to resist again at 815p a pop !!!
lol - yes, of course, you have complete insight on the numbers. Do they not use check digits on accounts? Do they allocate sequentially? Unlikely. Before spouting off like one of the great believers always do pal, don't be so patronising! If you're a Distributor by the way, why has your income declined in proportion to profits?
absolutly not as an active distributor I see the customer numbers ticking up they are incremental so not rocket science to work out the daily averages you can try it yourself by joining up yourself online and cancelling the order if youd really like the proof and repeating the same 24 hours later . When investing your hard earned or making public statements its always best to do a little research first !
Pure speculation.
As the 75 branded led vans hit the streets new members signing up at a rate of 320plus per day which is double digit growth !
is ridiculous and this is being algoed like crazy. Do what they're doing and buy low, sell high.

TEP: Telecolm Plus PLC At last been waiting for this one to turn positive going back to the late March support/resistance line, and right on cue it spikes up today on that very line. Lower indicators looking rather positive too. It does have a deal in place with a large energy supplier so is hedged in a way against drops in energy prices, BUT it isnt a one trick pony and provides many home services. <b><u>From Last Results</b></u>........ <i><b>"We remain on track to deliver record revenues, profits, and earnings per share for the current financial year.
