IMO surely there will be a concrete RNS after end of September, first week of October following Alessandro's talk/slot at the Fintec conference. However, I do struggle to envisage what concrete information such RNS would detail. It seems each announcement / share-talk discusses the same matters worded differently, again with nothing concrete. For example, if an RNS detailed the captive bank information, what benefit would that bring?
Getting a little bored of no news news, but still here and checking each day :) GLA
Val went from 3p to 60p, not from 0.03p. Take it from someone who invested in Val years ago and is sitting on a hefty loss!
Just had a look at VAL, 0.03 rising to 66 with 6 months is incredible - hopefully will happen to SYME! Was it a natural price increase or was there a share dilution?
s23pho.
I thought it was a different one
@Poncho, congrats on VAL! That company has had a great few months, you must be pleased with your 200% over there!
Also, remember that at 0.65 you have a lower average than Alessandro himself and currently just in a paper loss!
Best of luck mate, I hope (for all of our sakes) that you kill it here too :)
Val is doing good this week, I'm super annoyed I didn't invest when I first looked into the company. Next time though to save yourself the worry it's a good idea to balance out your portfolio because sometimes if one goes down another share can go up and make for the loss. I hope it works out as a good investment for you
@adamadd in case you hadn't realised, there is a video version of that interview, here:

I much prefer to look into the whites of AZ's eyes when he is speaking. He is very confident when interviewed and I find it adds a layer of reassurance for me!
I meant 90% . The other 10% is in Val from about 18p so every time I’ve been checking my phone this week I’ve been peeing my pants.
My 'problem' too Poncho. I've told others what a great stock it is & they have invested too.
I won't be doing that again. Just hope very much this comes good for all involved.
I mean 99% in one company is definitely a stressful position to be in. I'm confident in SYME, but hearing that is even anxiety-inducing for me LOL.
There is a pretty high chance you will come out a hero in this, but I would be stressing in your shoes right now...
Out of curiosity, what's the other 1% invested in?
TW is profiteering of people's fears and interest. No self respecting journalist would use the language he does, or pump out some many articles like confetti.
I’ve got about 99% of my PF tied up in this as I really believe in syme. The problem is, (and I’ll never do this again) is tell 2 family members to invest in SYME. Let’s just hope I come out of this a hero.
Agree s23pho.....and ignore TW’s ramblings, he has to increase paid subscriptions to his site so he picks popular shares to target and goes to town on them. He doesn’t have friends in the fca, he pumps cr*ppy stocks (opti anyone) and his writing buddies are well known shorters e.g. Lucien Mears
Not really bothered about an RNS tbh.. They will come when it's time. Seriously something this inavitive and new takes time to develop.. Updates from AZ won't happen over night.. This is an investment if you believe in this actually coming good.. then relax.. Some cannot handle the drops in price and simply sell due to either fear or impatients..
I guess it depends on how quickly you need to see ROI., Poncho.
I, like many others on this board, am very confident in this company; particularly in the medium to long term.
If I were sitting on an average of 0.65, I would hold, but I don't know your situation and what percentage of your PF is tied up in SYME.
AZs £1.1 million bet on the price being above 0.87 by December should be super encouraging for you. He is essentially betting that you will make at LEAST 34% by then - and he knows a lot more about his company than any of us in this board.
If you feel you can't wait that long, or feel that you could make more than that in the interim, then sell up.
For me, investing is a game of personal psychology. If I feel anxious every day I start making silly decisions.
If SYME is making you anxious, then I would definitely suggest selling.
If you're comfortable with your investment, and not just here for the short term / quick win then hold tight!!!
Poncho I’m in around the same level as you. No plan to sell, just ride the **** storm out. Ignore the BB and ****e spouted by the trolls and be patient... IMO GLA
What’s everyone’s opinion if there isn’t any RNS next week? Personally the stress is doing my head in. I’m in for about 0.65 so need 1p to relax. If there’s no RNS I might just take the kick in the balls and learn from it.
