Toni66 - do you have the share certificate for your holding? If so, send it to the Registrars and they will send you a cheque.
If not, your shares are probably held in the nominee account of the brokers who bought the shares for you, and they may have credited your account with the funds. Check your account , and if you cannot see the funds then speak to your brokers.
If you still can't solve the problem please report back here and let me delve further into the history of your holding. The Registrars will be delighted to hear from you because they will be holding your funds in a separate Bank account for the takeover and will want to reduce the balance to nil as soon as possible.
I’m sorry if I’m in the wrong place I am just trying to find out if anyone can help us understand how we get our payment for the serious minerals share sale to Anglo American from everything I’ve read we should’ve had a cheque and we’ve had nothing anyone know where we can find out many thanks
100% + & still ticking up - and lots more to go
DMC have lost the shaft contract, I wonder who’s behind that ?
Extract from today OMI rns.
Orosur CEO Brad George commented:
"We warmly welcome Agnico to Anzá. To now have two of the world's top 10 gold miners (combined production of over 7.5 million oz per year) investing in our project is testament to its potential and we look forward to an eventful year."
that share should multi bag from where it is currently.
Good luck
Hi Peeps, like a lot of people I lost a fair bit of money on this share. I've made some of it back on GGP but got to that party late, there is another similar share out there like GGP. Its OMI and its starting to take off, just a heads up for anyone who still monitors this board and doesn't know about it.
As always DYOR
Good luck.
...gold miners seem to be in vogue currently. Thor, Alba, and most recently GWMO topping the leader boards for daily gains. GWMO's market is about £7 million...
Hi
It’s been awhile since I posted here lost a small fortune.
However GGP saved my bacon also just stated on hopefully another multi bager
Thor and Alba .
Thor in the same region.
GLA
Cliff.
I think i heard someone mention they'll be a £1 by Christmas?... kidding
Could well be.
DYOR etc
Yeh, its doing very well, I'm just about to bag, i just hope people to remember to sell a bit and not just be ahead on paper, in sxx i was well up as well, should have sliced, hope any new holders of GGP remember its only a paper profit until you take.... a bit. From what i can see its still got a ways to go yet mind so if anyone is still looking at this board and is not aware .... checkout GGP.
PAA sounds like a right dish - phuuuuwaaaa!!! Dont tell the Mrs.
I always imagined there'd be a big punchup if we all ever met up for the £1 party. I envisased some type of carnage centering around Alan G and IBAB
Are they having a party? Only joking!
As a result of my experience with Sirius I’m very nervous of going too heavy in one share but something made me put more in ggp when it was 3p and EUA the day before it got suspended at 7p. I’m not all in either and have been lucky with having a smaller amount in some of the testing/therapeutic shares that have done/doing very well.
I do have to disagree with re Myo. I just think he was just incredibly interested with all the build. I recon he felt incredibly let down by SXX.
I did however meet PAAA at the vote meeting who was nothing like I expected - equally as gutted as the rest of us were - certainly not some person sitting in the corner in a raincoat as some described him ... I would go as far as to say he was quite a catch for some lucky lady!!
I always had a feeling he was part of sxx. He knew every move and every piece of info.
Me too bellers. The bollx he used to come out with. He was too well informed. How would he know all tha nonsense unless he was on the inside.
In other news: have a look at the Great West mining Company *GWMO) - in particular the recent gold trials -
Rumour is they're headed for the moon but what ever you do dont invest in them, unless you want to.
I think i heard someone mention they'll be a £1 by Christmas?... kidding
Cheers fj...….hope you are keeping well? Big turn around this year after SXX. Not just the Oz goldie but all my others particularly pharmas involved in CV19. Hoping something can be made of the Whitby mine still to help the locals. Atb
I always had a feeling he was part of sxx. He knew every move and every piece of info. Mmm. Aah well, all done with now. I made mine back with ggp, sgz and zoe. Just waiting for eua to sell then I’ll be happy. Still a bit uncomfortable about myosotis? Good luck everyone cos we were done up good and proper.
If I remember correctly he's disappeared right after the outcome.
as an aside, I've been in sensible shares for a while since i got creamed in this one.
One of them is BT (BT.A) which has been going down and getting hammered.
Today Barclays have just put an overweight on it so its should start back on an upward trajectory.
So if anyone has some cash burning a hole in thier pocked for which they need a home .......
As always DYOR good luck.
thought i saw him on the ggp board, not seen PAA.
No idea, but how do you check whether he is posting elsewhere? I wonder whether Per Ardua Ad Astra is still around.
Just a thought...... anyone know what happened to him? No account now. Strange
Gertfrobe - yeah, of course those faces are very happy..
Obviously I meant I'm happy with the outcome if compared to that another unfortunate alternative..
“Very happy with the outcome“
Yes they do.

bobminor - you probably do understand where these little people would be with their capital without AAL right after covid hit the world in march?
Would SXX be capable to manage debt and other contractual liabilities?
Answers are quite obvious, unavoidable administration!
It's called permanent loss of capital !!!
I would say we were very lucky :)
And instead of losing 40% of my portfolio I've managed to score almost 30% return in a very short time, plus it was all in cash - ready to be invested on a rapidly collapsing market (end of mar), first time I've understood meaning of "cash is the king".
Very happy with the outcome.

"Re Sirius Minerals plc
In January 2020, mining giant Anglo American plc announced a recommended cash offer for Sirius Minerals plc (Sirius) to be implemented by way of a scheme of arrangement. A significant number of investors held their shares via one or more nominees, meaning that these investors only held a beneficial interest in Sirius while their nominee held full legal title to the shares. Following a meeting of shareholders convened in order to approve the scheme — in which the voting thresholds were only narrowly met — the High Court had to decide whether to sanction the scheme in light of objections raised from a number of Sirius’ beneficial owners. These beneficial owners alleged that the votes cast at the shareholder meeting did not represent their views, particularly given that most nominees had not contacted the beneficial owners to inform them of the offer.
Nonetheless, the court sanctioned the scheme and reaffirmed that the votes and rights of registered members holding legal title to a target’s shares ultimately count, as opposed to those of any beneficial owners. The court ruled that all relevant legal requirements had been satisfied (beneficial owners do not constitute “members” for the purposes of the Companies Act 2006), that Sirius had been under no legal obligation to reach out to the beneficial owners and that, even if they had been obliged, there was no way of confirming how the beneficial owners would have instructed their nominees to vote."
NO to the little people - No to unco££uptable !!!!
Doing a roof repair for one of the Strabag staff working at Woodsmith. We got chatting about the project and he reckons on 2025 for 1st polyhalite.....
