Many thanks Anon, in memory of Wassatt, God bless.
Hi Fred,
Thanks very much for your donation, it is really appreciated. Just gearing up for next week's stroll. Blisters have healed :-)
We have pre sold lots of product !!!!!
There are no figures except those plucked from thin air.
-
Yeah that’s right GBern. It’s all just made up stuff. The global fertiliser market doesn’t exist and TorP deals just based on finger in the air pricing!
Next 5,6,7yrs? Plants needed nutrients 3 billion years ago. They will need them in 3 billion years time!
I promise you that!
Hi Chrisatbirdies, Happy to be disagreed with. There are no figures except those plucked from thin air. Unless or until the first fertiliser is sold then this is speculative even setting aside the tunnel build. Once this is productive then we can talk figures.
The way that the environment is heading with wildly varying weather it isn't even certain what needs agriculture will have to implement in 5,6,7 or more years time.
However I have money in this share as a gamble so am committed in that respect, but am horrified by the sheer volume of nonsense posted with all the theories. No one with a nervous disposition should be within a country mile of any share let alone a known speculative one.
Yes Chesh, after funding is in place we can sit back and relax a little more and focus on delivering the mine..!
"as safely as possible and as fast as possible"
Add to that Thornback..........!
Fully funded - very shortly - Nearly a Tick.
All the best (pivotal moment :)
good points and with food production being pushed for more and more output from the same amount of land then it does make sense.
Spenny, a few very basic questions i look at before I think of digging deeper into a company are;
Product Volumes - 100 years worth - Tick
Product Effect - Agronomy results - Tick
Board Experience - Extensive - Tick
Board committment - plenty of skin in the Project - Tick
Location - UK - Tick
This isn't advice in any way but just a few things that I'm sure most peeps look at initially and you probably have too..!
Good luck
Haha Chris - I’m sure I haven’t - I’m worried I’m going to be totally past it by the time we get to £1 party! I’ll have to send my children if that’s the case!
It's just me (open ended) target holding Chrisatbirdies.......... :)
I'm no where near it yet............ I did up me subs 50% recently though........... :)
And fingers in other AIM pies which, if they come of, will find any profits into this........!
All the best (my pie fingers are crossed :()
ps. I know this isn't AIM BTW............!
Spenny, with no disrespect to the posters you mention ( I like them too amongst others ), your decision to buy, hold or sell should be based on your research and your research alone. Things could still very much go wrong here ( my feelings are that they won't by the way ) so best to make your own decisions and not based on what others are saying. Welcome to the board by the way ; )
I might have a few more shares fred but I think you've got quite a few more years on me so that makes you the real winner and boy will you enjoy it when you were proved right all along .
Wow chesh that's some holding, i joined the subs club some three years ago now ,its definately the club to be in.
"One would have thought, what with rampant bond markets, German debt offering a negative yield and investors hoovering up junk bonds, that this sale would have been relatively easy."
Plus me as well Spenny! My investment in Sirius initially was on gut feeling, lucky names and numbers! I have done a lot of research but I’m no expert - I did know Sirius wouldn’t be plain sailing though and there would be difficult times - this last few weeks has been the worst for me bec I bought a few more! But you must do what you think as well - read all the posts - you’ll soon know which are the genuine negative ones and the complete de-rampers - but take everything on board - good and bad - and then just go with what your gut feeling is and don’t invest more than you can afford to lose - good luck!
Oh god Spenny - Don't listen to me. I have enough poor trades in my history to make that risky. Do your research and decide if you're happy with the risk as is. When circumstances change do your research again and see if you're still happy.
The key thing is to ignore the noise
Hi gbern.
I dont agree with you. The figures stack up very well. This company will make billions each year for around 100 years. The risks left are the build and of course stage two. All the evidence is that the bonds will go and the expertise behind the build is looking very promising indeed. I believe this is a wise investment all in my very honest opinion.
Chesh - At current prices my stretch target is an acceptable proportion of my pension. Post bonds it'll feel rather weighty. I'd love to add and get my average down, but can't justify it to myself. The potential divi that we could see (I'm anticipating around 5p from around 2025 based on calcs that the board did earlier in the year) will be a welcome boost to my pension pot which will then be used on other shares.
I'm not greedy. The divis won't be life changing or allow me to give up work much earlier, but they will let me build up a bigger pot so i can enjoy life when i do retire
I'm no where near me target holding DGR...........!
I don't really have one........ :) aim was to hold ~1m before ST2 funding got adjusted..........!
so I've doubled that, very, approx. target......... TBF it's an open target that I'd like to beat rather than make...........!
All the best (~2m target, and a long way off it ATM........... :()
As a total noob and having only been onboard SS Sirius since June with a 14p average - can I just say a quick thanks to the contibutors on here who take the time and effort to support and expand people's understanding. Its been an exciting (and worrying) few months and DGR1980, Fred16, FFCMember and Myo have been great. Without you lot I'd have probably panicked and bailed.
In it for the long haul now.
Good luck to all holders over the next few weeks - I've got a good feeling about the whole thing.
If Peppa f......g Pig is worth $4bn, SXX must be worth.....
Rypod- I'm already at my stretch number of shares, which given i can't retire for 30 years will seriously boost my pension.
That's just your opinion GBern.
Not a fact.
Nobody knows where the share price can or will go and anyone who guesses correctly has done just that ,guessed.
Isn't all this speculation what got some people into what appears to be over their heads wildly expecting riches beyond avarice.
This is a hugely speculative share regardless of funding given the nature of the tunnel alone. Assuming the funding is obtained the chances are very high that there will be further funding when costs escalate as they always do on these type of projects.
This share should be a bit of nonsense for a punt on the company coming good eventually. Not betting the house on a pony.
Chris - you’ll be the winner with more shares! - but even with the shares I’ve got it’s been hard to get my av down - got it down from 25p though! And now I’m just going to sit and wait ....and pray!
