Once reopening starts next week, and people go back to work
All the big banks have started bringing all their staff back, just the begining
BOOM
still surprised that is still in 330+ . I was expecting in the range of 200. Well done SSPG
Think the rights issue has been remarkably well-received by the market - bullish!
Mary,
I think your reference to bottom picking is way off subject . creates to many interesting angles .
Not a recommendation.
An option could be to ease into the stock but what I refer to as racking.
10% of what you intend to buy at your initial entry price.
20% if it moves lower 30% lower still and 40% if lower again.
It means you ease in your exposure rather than bottom picking.
I intend to buy more as I am comfortable in this stock, but not at these levels.
I will wait for a sell off day (market crash) to start a new rack and blend it over time with my current low average holding.
If the airports recover so will this stock.
and if they do not, it can only go to Zero - (the pigs will fly)
Great johnny
The tradeable rights are also there with a £1.48p premium at the moment should you not have the cash to take up the rights.
Just another option and this cash will reduce your overall cost of your original holding compensating you for the drop.
I have taken mind in full as this is an exciting stock to hold and the market have received this well.
Yeah it's appeared for me now. Cheers!
Hi, been watching SSPG for a bit but not bought in. Would anyone recommend getting in now? and if so, today, or when? Don't know enough about usual share price movements following an ex RI date.
Johnny, other HL users
It you look at your stock account, you will notice that the corporate actions (dark blue) icon is available to give your instruction.
A typical instruction

Take up your option to buy more shares in SSP Group plc
You can buy a maximum of 12 new shares for every 25 shares you held at the end of 6 April 2021, at a fixed price of 184p each.
Before making your decision, it’s important you read the full details we are sending to you by post or secure message, including the frequently asked questions.
You’ll need enough money on your capital account from noon on 19 April 2021 until the money is used the following day. If there’s not enough, we’ll apply for as many shares as we can with the money you have available.
We’ll add your new shares to your account as soon as possible at the end of the rights issue, on or around 22 April 2021.
Alternatively, you can sell your rights at our normal dealing charges until 4.30pm on 19 April 2021. You can't give an instruction to sell your rights here.
Buying the shares in a different HL account
If your rights are in an ISA / LISA, you can buy the news shares either in that ISA / LISA or in an HL Fund and Share Account. I use Hargreaves Landsdown too, all the details of the new tradeable SSP shares have been added to my Portfolio this morning (7th), details to take up the Rights have also been provided.
For HL users, I have spoken with my account manager who assures me that the rights will be showing in the account later today but they cannot specify a time.
That said, it sure is looking good at the moment. just wait until the airports actually have passengers passing through in quantities.
OK thanks!
No, you haven't missed out.
The big move today was because the shares went ex-rights, which effectively means the deadline for determining who gets to take part in the rights issue has passed. If you already owned shares then you're in.
You should be hearing from your broker by EOW (or early next week) with details on how to take part. I'm going to give mine a call if I haven't heard anything within a week or so.
How do you buy the shares? I got the email from HL a few weeks ago proposing to let you buy 12 for every 25 you hold at 184p but I haven't had anything through since then?
How do you buy them or have I missed it?
@geostar
I don't think they have been credited to accounts yet. Mine are not showing on HL.
No, If you held the stocks before today, you are entitled to the rights issue.
Ignore! They now seem to be. I have posted twice this morning on this board and they haven’t shown
Hello
I am unsure my messages don’t seem to be showing
Hello,
I hold shares in SSP and have done for some time. Have I missed out on the rights issue?
Hello everyone,
I hold shares (I’m down!) and seem to have also missed out on the rights issue. How do I next time ensure that I don’t miss y
Out?
I did own some shares which I sold today. Will I still get entitlement to the rights issue?
anyone know what the new rights shares are called?
Can't see it falling to those levels...I'm expecting at least a 5%-8% premium today to the prices I've quoted. With the reopening set for next week and June, I think the outlook over the next few months for SSPG will be for 450 now its repaired its balanced sheet.
Yes that seems correct. Depending where it opens it nay throw up some great trades, in the shares or right. I'm buying around 270p and 95p respectively as before the recent rises the price was around 320, giving approx 91p premium on a 275 ex price.
Mary,
Ex rights 3.241 and nil paids 1.4081...agreed ?
