No major corporation is going to time a deal for the sake of SRES's planned AGM unfortunately.
They'll complete on any deal at their own pace and time, hopefully in time for the AGM but I wouldn't treat that as a 'target date' personally - just to then get upset if nothing materialises :-)
Resent RNS (This is the bit I like)
? President of CRMC confirmed his Board's support for a joint development of the CS Project in recent meeting with Sunrise Chairman and detailed financial terms are being discussed.
AGM 27th not long now
on the 13th of December made me laugh :-
In exploring for valuable mineral deposits, we accept that not all our exploration will be successful but also that the rewards for success can be high. We therefore expect that our shareholders will be invested for the potential for capital growth taking a long-term view of management's track record in mineral discovery and development.
taking a long term view of managements track record in mineral discovery and development - EH !!!! What track record in development ??????????
Long term presumably in decades rather than years !
A bit more today from Holcim on their "green growth" strategy (though nothing specifically on pozzolan as far as I can see) :

Another acquisition by Holcim in West USA. Not particularly near us, but shows that Holcim are intent on expanding their ready-mix business.

We shout BINGO here and win the house prize
Over to you Patrick :-)
Make my day Buster
I guess they will need to keep $5M for contingencies and the rest for CS - happy days!
Cemex is selling its operations in Costa Rica and El Salvador for ~US$335m.

"
“This transaction allows us to progress in our portfolio rebalancing objectives, while redeploying resources to fund our growth investments and further deleveraging,” said Fernando A. Gonzalez, CEO of CEMEX.
...
Proceeds from this divestment are expected to be used to fund the company’s bolt-on investment growth strategy in its key markets, reduce debt and other corporate purposes.

Agmcoming up and pc will certainly be feeling very uncomfortable when he faces his shareholders face to face
Sp is now dreadful. Pc needs a kick up his arse
Nothing to do with concrete, but Holcim's latest acquisition for $1.35b cash does show that they're prepared to spend money in our part of the world.

We have to get better at PR. No matter what deal is signed, the share price will only go up if a) enough people know about the deal and b) are willing to buy shares at a higher price than today. Please make this a focus in 2022. We can't keep watching promising RNSs on a few small bulletin boards that give us a brief 5% flicker before fizzling out. Imagine if that was the result after the *big* RNS with numbers and a signed deal? Be frustrating after years of work, wouldn't it?
Don't let it happen Mr PC. Cheers, Merry Christmas
£7m mkt Cap
No deals done
And feck all in a oear tree -- ho ho ho
Today's the first time I've been in the red on this share since I started buying in June 2020. Come on PC, let's get this over the line.
well at least selling from the trading account to transfer to ISA at these prices is a little better, with less CGT liability, and maybe another sell will dip the price more for the buyback ...
will just go find my spare boots now as the others are all full ...
PC should get some official news out there .off the cuff comments are clearly not acceptable .something more needed Patrick !
Someone desperate for Xmas cash, I’m waiting for a happy new year gla
I have also £5280’s worth. Better be a good deal.
I've just had a small top-up, should show soon, wonder if the price will rise to reflect it?!!? wishful thinking!!
Don't think anyone is going to have a happy Christmas as far as shares are concerned.
