Mr Cautious, so by recommending people "don't stay on board" it is axiomatic you are advocating most sell at potentially huge losses, negating the chance to at least recover some, or maybe most of their investment, if the Company is sold. Why would you offer such advise? Very few make money at these prices if they sell but at least while the sale process is ongoing there is still hope. We have some very promising acreage that I am sure has value well above what we are currently valued at!
Crude
Unbelievable. "My only interest is to stop people buying more"....Yep, I'm sure it is
????
Where is the value now In SOU ??
I am one of the past investors and my only interest now is to help prevent rampers from persuading people to A) stay onboard and b) buy more !
Longwait - probably around 60 fritters. We're talking major spam fritterage, but theoretically we'll be able to afford it when Parsons delivers an amazing LE for us all.
Thanks God for that then. No more bickering. He's doing my fez wearing head in.
£30 per bottle??
How much is that in terms of spam fritters?
Very funny, JTF, but you are in fact on Jobbs' filter list, even if he does have a schoolgirl crush on you.
Just checked out their drinks list and looks quite impressive. Some decent ****tails, plus a not too bad wine list. CNDP for just shy of £30 for the bottle. Not bad for London prices. Trellis will be happy.
Anybody up for a night out and a laugh when all of this is over?
Check out Le Fez Club.

When you read (regularly) in the papers of someone having had to consult 10-20 doctors before getting the right diagnosis, let alone the right treatment, you realise that the medical profession's diagnostic skills are way-overrated.
Thousands of people with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome or Fibromyalgia were dismissed as malingerers or nutcases by doctors who were obviously in the wrong profession.
Scientific research has proven that both diseases exist and that they have effects on multiple systems in the body which aren't even going to show up in a scan, let alone a cursory examination by a doctor who lacks respect for his patients.
Not wishing to pry, but are you saying your other five investments fared WORSE than SOU, Jinx?
Lmfao! Using the empathy angle this morning, what a crock of sh*t! , expect the more senior players to be wheeled out tomorrow ( bank holiday) double time ?or double per post ? Haha
That is also my presumption Olwi.
Was just going to look forward to a fascinating piece of fiction to have a read through after the gym and the bbq.
AIM definitely brings out the full spectrum.
Jobbinscl - There are no 6 companies, this is just like yesterday when 'Fourfiguresbull' suddenly opened an account. Utter rubbish.
What it tells me is that people missed the bottom of the drop in the middle of last week, the bottom was just under 8p and SOU are going back up, the people that wanted them cheap, got them cheap.
What were the 6 companies? When did you invest?
I have a friend who had cancer and no matter how I / we read the policy we could not understand how the insurer could/would pay out more than a partial payment (25 percent) but they paid 100% and paid it incredibly quickly and the friend made a full recovery after a very minor operation.
So insurance companies are (in my experience) not bad.
Sorry if it is all true - but it seems highly unlikely to me (4 posts and you are sharing all this?????).
And yet still - only one person to blame although it seems a very common phenomenon that people nowadays struggle to take responsibility for Trevor own actions.
Jinx - that is very unfortunate and I hope all works out for you.
BUT that is crazy behaviour and you really only have yourself to blame.
As far as suitors interested in Sound i believe there are,but it didn't help jp shouting the 4 digits don't cut it statements,i know he had to sell the company & he certainly done that, all that done was to make us to expensive & if we had to raise money at a quid a share that i believe would be difficult as once we got there it would have to have been maintained, so bring on the gas shows but not commercial, especially when other raises where done at a much lower price,if a raise was done at 7p or even 15p i think most would give it a go
I'm at this stage well under as are most & i still believe we won't lose out ,then we will probably find out after the dust has settled that expectations had to be lowered, anyhow have a nice bank holiday i tried working but to many scumbags about so went home, off to see Mum in her care home tomorrow then let my hair down, have a good one lads & lasses.
I agree, WL: I don't buy the conspiracy theory that those posters are trying to get the price down any more than I buy their conspiracy theory that the management have been pretending to believe there is value in Tendrara.
As to why they won't go away - well, I suppose people don't easily let go of obsessions (with no disrespect intended to people who are afflicted by obsessive-compulsive disorders) but it may be that they want validation of their ideas by seeing us throw in the towel.
Some time during the next few months, we should find out who has been right.
I think I have belatedly got your point, Maldini.
By 'interest from people who are not invested in SOU,' you are referring to the ten-plus companies who have shown interest.
I think either one of two things has transpired. Either (a) there are a group of excessive posters (we all know who they are) who have simply lost the plot. Their lives seemingly revolve exclusively around expressing their outright hatred of JP and the Sound Energy BoD. They are absolutely convinced that Tendrara, or indeed any aspect of the entire company holds zero value. If that is their genuine opinion, then fair enough. We're all entitled to our opinion. The question remains however, why spend all day everyday bashing a company on an anonymous BB? What's the point? Fair play, vent if you need to, express your dissatisfaction. But there comes a point when one must ask why persist all day every day? We get it, we really do. You don't like this company, that could not be clearer. So sell up and/or move on, for your own sanity. Seriously.
Or (b), which I think is more unlikely - the 'bashers' are systematically attempting to lower the share price so that they can buy in at a cheaper price and make more money in the long run. Would make sense, but really, how much influence could people have posting on here? Can't be that much surely.
Imagine waking up in the morning and posting negative comments about a company in which you hold no shares. Imagine doing it obsessively all day every day (during weekday working hours). What a sad, pathetic, existence. Seriously, just cut your losses and move on with your life. For your own sake. Don't worry about us who are still invested. We made our choice and are in until the end. Not going to change our minds however many times you post the same complaint (for the 4 thousands time...we get it, we know). Enough.
"Errr..yeah, but....JP overhyped this share....so errr....sell up when the share price is very low...because errr....I said so..."
YAWN...ZZZZZZZZ....
Go on, respond to this message telling me to sell. See if I do what you say. I dare you.
Fair point Longwait. Can’t argue with your general sentiment, I think we’re pretty much on the same page.
' the interest from people who are not invested in SOU is validation that the market sees value in SOU ...'
I didn't get that.
I think SOU is absurdly-undervalued.
That is, of course, a result of the price having collapsed!
It's just a sad fact of life on LSE AIM that many posters target companies and their managements when the price has collapsed and completely neglect the issue of value.
I still can hardly believe that I've read so many posts claiming that Tendrara hasn't got any commercial gas.
It's almost as though the posters don't want any to be found.
There must be something quite unique about SOU. Why else would past or non investors feel compelled to post on this BB at a time when the company is apparently on its knees and run by ne’er-do-wells? For those lucky few who decided to get out when they saw the writing on the wall.... hoorah and well done. For non investors who are convinced of a gloomy end to this saga but remain interested in its fortunes....you must know something that others don’t. For the rest of us mere mortals without a crystal ball to fall back on, I guess we’re still here either because we retain some confidence of a decent outcome/profit or are hopeful of at least recouping some paper losses (most probably a mixture of both). Soon enough we will all know our fate, at which point the winners, losers, faux sympathisers and gloaters will no doubt be back on the BB for the post match analysis. However the interest from people who are not invested in SOU is validation that the market sees value in SOU and I trust that when the time comes this interest will translate into a very positive LE for all current Pis.
