I had shares in another gold mining company around the same time that also had a reverse takeover. I now own 9,500 or so shares in the new company, whereas before I had around a million. My percentage ownership of the new company is more or less the same. The number of shares was reduced, but the price per share increased, and I'm very happy with that.
In my mind that is is a consolidation.
There is no way I will ever look at this company in the same light. My overall percentage ownership here has fallen off the scale to the extent my 46 shares don't mean anything. I couldn't give a stuff what happens with Sosandar, but I have high hopes the other company will deliver.
This is a dilution, the other company is a consolidation.
Damocles re-11:49. That's consolidation, not dilution.
Doesn't make it any better for any of us I know.
Handy to know the difference though.
The dilution was savage. I didn't have many shares, just 200,000. I now have 46 I think, too few to be bothered about and not enough to sell.
By that measure you also won't have many.
As for what happened, I refer to my previous reply.
Yes I spoke too soon! Consensus is it’s a down day with the rest of the market, we live to fight another day.
to drop like a stone today, has there been any news
Climbing slowly but surely .
I have 20million shares in Oregon gold probably worthless now , what went wrong i had them in bottom drawer what are they worth if anything Thank you
It was indeed Oregen Gold, a lifestyle company if ever there was one. The directors paid themselves handsomely for doing absolutely nothing other than raise more funds when the cash in the bank was running low and carry on with their £150,000 a year lifestyles.
The reverse takeover by Sosandar completed in November 2017, and I'm still not convinced this isn't more of the same, but that's just my opinion.
Was this share once orogen gold and when did it change Thank You Kindly
You never know this could become a takeover target. Debenhams is down the pan Laura Ashley, oasis, warehouse more potential business for online. You could also have doubled your cash on boo boo and done well with asos. We shall see what happens after the lockdown has been lifted
Things taking off this morning! Anyone know why? I have noticed they appear to have plenty of cash , perhaps that makes them a stronger bet in these difficult times.
Almost doubled now .. shame it was only £95 but a wins a win . Now if I’d of put in £1 k like Debenhams it would of gone bust, this share malarkey can shore niggle your nerves sometimes.. onwards and er upwards to break even 17p whoop whoop
sosaaaaaaaaaander squeaky get in :)
Good to see the announcement of Canaccord taking a decent stake.
A £50k buy yesterday morning... now that's interesting
Woo hoo up £40 , kettle on to toast my little triumph!
Still £400 down on the other stake mind oh well upward and onward..
The sun is shining, summer is coming, the ladies will be wanting something to cheer themselves up! Time to get back in SOS, methinks.
had a nibble at 7.5p!
Hey lignumvitae, hopefully the board are doing all they can to preserve that cash balance while maintaining its database of loyal customers.
The company was doing £2m a month sales at its recent peak and has done enough to validate the business model in my eyes. Seems decent value for an Mcap of £11m. There a lot more women out there without jobs than a few weeks ago so maybe the recovery will take a while, but I think it will come this year, some time.
Worry not RedB - I saw an analyst comment that sales of dresses etc would fall off a cliff as no woman will buy a new dress if there is nowhere to go. Whoever he [& it must have been a he] was then he doesn't understand women! Of course nobody is buying anything, other than provisions in the "panic" period but once that has passed [is passing?], sitting at home with nothing to do then it will be a different matter. Enormous opportunities for SOS. Nonethleless would have been nice to see the BOD cutting their remuneration & dipping their hands into their pockets to pick up some cheaop shares.
Well if you can call £95 including fees a top up ha ha I added I think it was about 1,400 yesterday — 17p average now whoop whoop well you never know.
They will be a surge in clothes buying when this covid-19 is over, when people rush out to enjoy their new freedom; new clothes to celebrate!
Not well look them up
Yes disappointing but not wholly unexpected ( i say that having bought at 20p and thought I’d ride it out oh for hindsight to sell at 30p never mind) ) you’d have to say they did indeed fund raise at a perfect time before the storm which should see them through to the other side .. yup every one at home with idle thumbs will indeed see women trolling through online businesses and looking for future buys . So I’m holding may have a tiny tiny top up to (£100 max!) average down for the long term
I wonder how boo boo and asos are faring?
Yep, merely pointing out it was in bad taste, makes us pathetic and snide. Angered by slight criticism but have no problem in dishing out insults. Says a lot, hey.
