3.57 for a 1000
solid start
I find it is often only possible to pick up very small parcels of shares at a time depending on the demand - sometimes only 100 without it switching to NT. Not sure what the NMS is but it's a bit irrelevant anyway. I increased my holding the other day btw. :-)
another 10 per cent up
Low volumes but serious increases. Still seems to be someone accumulating- in 1k share lots now.
Top half of the Leaders Board AGAIN. :-)
And off we go again. Next leg up perhaps? Faradays research hitting home? Let's see.
They've ticked down the price twice now in the past 30 mins. BUT only on the bid which means nothing. They haven't lowered the ASK at all. So it's just a tactic to make it look like the price is dropping when in reality they have just widened the spread = lack of liquidity. ;-)
... can't find any! Thought i read some comments in earlier posts about projected figures and graphs? Can someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks, L
that should be 50 mil worth 30p - it's been a long day!
Thanks for the vote of confidence. I agree with the thought that recent rises might be putting people off. However, the more I think of it, the more I think there is a danger of too much pessimism obscuring the facts. This company is clearly rolling out its business at an amazing rate. OK, so shares are currently over £3.00, but there are only 5 million of them in circulation. I wonder whether people would prefer it if there were 50 million worth 3p? Strangely, for such a fledgeling company I suspect they would - that's the power of psychology. Bottom line, you may not hold as many shares on paper, but the percentage buy-in to the company (and, therefore, your return on investment) would be the same. Funny old game. The earnings potential here, compared with market cap, is the real clincher. I'd really like to know how quickly they're selling seats on the current product (i.e. pre-call centre version). Maybe I'd better have a closer look at the investor presentations on-line. I may not be 'in' yet, but it won't be long... just need some readies out of WSG or AMC - it's torture waiting!
Laureate - great post and I am very impressed by your research skills! It just goes to show what you can find out with a little bit of effort. Speaking of which when I was at the AGM last week during a conversation with Mark Seeman he mentioned about ramping things up incrementally ie.1-50 seat users, to 50-100 seat users etc but so much was said it passed me by until you mentioned that. He also mentioned to me about the launch of a new product so that could be what he was referring to. Also worth mentioning to you that I asked whether they intend to extend the use of their products into other suitable software applications (other than CRM) and the answer was a big YES. Such an exciting company. I think what might be putting some people off investing is the very reason you are not buying ie.the huge rise recently see - not because people are not recognising the potential here. I think those people would do well to recognise that just because a stock has risen very fast very quickly does not mean it will not continue to do so.
Great research, thanks.
Thanks for the info gleaned from your own research - add it to my own done over the last couple of hours and it all adds up to a very exciting poposition! I have just posted my thoughts over on the GC board (for the benefit of our happy band of brothers). Exisiting holders my be interested in my closing paragraph: "Now for my self-nomination of sleuth of the year award... which convinces me this is a very exciting prospect. In hunting for more info on the business model, I filled in a form on their website as a pre-cursor to being given access to a 'case study' of an existing customer. Within 10 minutes, one of SYNETY's marketing team was on the phone... and am I glad I regsitered with my real number. From the off, I told him I was a prospective investor digging about for more info, and definitely not a customer. That didn't stop him from telling me some very interesting facts! Of 7 sales-staff in his office (total company is 24), as we spoke, other 6 were all out on site-visits briefing new clients. MASSIVE response to internet advertising campaign - product starting to sell itself. Google search statistics on those now actively looking for SYNETY, significant. New clients coming through 'in large numbers' on a daily basis. Real attraction is simplicity of solution: existing kit, integration in existing CRM systems and cheaper call costs (as I said above, this has turned out to be a major selling point - as a TELCO in its own right, SYNETY has cut these to the bone and is making next to no margin on calls, but everything on service contracts :p). I really got the impression that this company is about to take off - literally. And here's the killer. As if having a small business cloud-based product that integrates with pretty much all the major off-the-shelf CRM systems (SAGE being the latest) was not enough, my very friendly salesman was kind enough to tell me that they are about to step up to a whole new level with the release, in June, of a version specifically tailored for 50-100 seat (plus) call-centres! If pricing is the same, at 12k per year, per 100 man call centre, it will not take long for revenue to roll in." I apologise if news on the call-centre solution is old hat but, if not, it would put this lot in a hwole new (and potentially very lucrative) market place in a couple of months time! When are you expecting the next lot of results or a trading update? Bottom line, I really hope this stock re-traces, because I'd love to get in at a lower price. Sadly, all the indications are that even after recent huge rises, it is still massively undervalued.
Laureate - haven't got a lot of time atm but I attended the AGM last week and the question of the SP rise arose. Managment held up their hands and said they couldn't understand it either. What else could they say really? If they knew the fundamental reasons behind it they would hardly disclose them in a public domain as that would constitute market sensitive information. However..... what they did say was that they thought that the shares are tightly held (which they are) and illiquid and only a small free float. So, it doesn't take a great deal of demand to push them up. My suggestion to you is that if they were now fundamentally overvalued (after a 200% SP rise) and this was all hype and hot air then more people would be exiting and we would see a substantial retrace by now. We have not. I am very impressed with management, with whom I had an interesting conversation, and you are correct in stating they have a superb business model. Incidentally, they would be considering a switch to a licensing model in time.....
Guys, this a repost from my question for shan on GC: ...trying to get my head around the Synety story. So far, have checked out: - 2012 results: which are all pretty good (losses down to 1.7m as opposed to 20m in 2011; cash in hand 2.7m, but lots of necessary spending in year - including acquisition of SYNERTY itself...; couldn't see any debt) - Website: very professional - looks like a hell of a business model. All software based; provide someone a telephonic solution and rent them the air time and then sit back and watch recurring revenues roll in (at 10 pound per user per month + call costs (which is the real earner)) - Significant share dealing: 60k shares to CEO on 10 Apr, followed by 120k to Fidelity Investments on 16 Apr... ... but I still can't quite explain the 200% rise in a little over two weeks on no other concrete news! I may be thick, but without something else to hang my hat on I am having real problems valueing this company. Are we really saying here, that with so few shares in issue (5m only), 180k buys in the space of a few days were enough to treble the value of the stock? If that's the case, then there are lots of investors out there willing to put their faith on other peoeple's hunches. I ain't one, at the moment. Can anyone help me out? I'd love to know more, because this is a really interesting share but I can't see how the company's value has rocketed 10m pounds in under three weeks. Grateful in advance, L
Mate 7 trades so far..325p paid now Mm's 2 v1 ..so a few more buys and it's up. 7 trades but it seems more of you on this board lol!

Some of those returns are tiny compared to some shares that are still being held. Faraday are an excellent research company.
thanks cambells, that's my first question answered.
who are faraday ? also can you post the link (web address) to where you have posted excerpts (cant find it on the sharechat riddlers gc page) ? or even better repost the excerpts here. thanks
Indeed it can. But a sharp move down simply provides an opportunity for canny investors to mop those shares up. Which is precisely what has happened over the past few weeks. ;-) Retrace from a 200% increase? Negligible at best.
