nice move up this morning , although some look to be selling maybe taking profits ,hoping for more of a move up
...I had a look on their website and couldn't find any article like that, so it is probably DT's "classic" rehash of some old article!?!
link please
its on directors talk - possible 25 p bid from land consultants ltd
Platts that is
Could we have a link to the article please. Ta in advance
still a good price for the buyer this would be worth a quid down the line if funding sorted and production sustained and profitable
Maybe when they get a positive reply on the IPP from the SA Gov.....
Be very careful where one steps here. Lots of older material that hasn't materialised yet.
at last a buy at 3.15 only Libc on 3.25 next MM at 3.75
Maybe...especially with the Rand being R10.65 to the dollar today instead of R8.25 (Spangle). But they were basing the API4 at $95 a ton when today realistically it should probably be figured @ $75. New feasability study for the IDC application might bring more to light in the future.
So is the profit viable if they can get back operational?
With the API4 @ $73 a ton Elitheni (if still on the same offtake) would receive @ $60.50 a ton.
API4 coal is currentyl about $73/ton. Is that correct? I'm not sure what Elitheni get, can you please enlighten us? Thanks http://www.barchart.com/chart.php?sym=IFFM14&style=technical&template=&p=DO&d=X&sd=&ed=&size=M&log=0&t=BAR&v=2&g=1&evnt=1&late=1&o1=&o2=&o3=&sh=100&indicators=&addindicator=&submitted=1&fpage=&txtDate=#jump
Does anyone know what Elitheni gets for a ton of coal? Does anyone know what the price of API4 coal is? Does anyone know the difference?
I think this crazy price move is a temporary blip as I think a downward price movement (not sure why it happened) caused some CFD a/c holders to be automatically 'closed out' further driving the price down into a 'Tailspin'. This price drop certainly plays into the hands of those big investors whom I think are mopping up shares at a massive discount in advance of new strategic initiatives to be announced following the meeting at the end of this month. I would love to know if the directors/senior managers or anyone connected with them are mopping up shares at these prices or are selling in a panic! - if only we knew we could follow the lead of those really in the know about what is happening in this company. It certainly looks like the small investor will lose out in the short term if they have to sell out at these prices as this company has got to be worth multiples of its current market capitalisation!
I think Cliveas copied and pasted something about shares being placed at 4p ?? L2 looking really good..
Not looking good! I guess all them buys could not hold back that big seller.
Cliveas, I think you've highlighted the 2 likely scenarios perfectly....but which one will occur? Were it to be a discounted placing, I can't help feeling those who were recently allocated shares at 4p base price will be livid if others who've been harder to placate end up getting a better price as a result of their intransigence. (assuming they're still holding rather than having already sold below base price!) Will be interesting to see how many of yesterday/today's sales are subsequently cancelled, as often happens!
both 2.85 trades look like buys! hopefully we can close where we opened today..
Orchestrated and manipulated as was the price held down yesterday. could be a placing or mm hoovering up scared pi's shares to load up. Whichever I am holding until news. Plenty of doomongers that didn't post any information before all this started! DYOR and if you find out what is really going on let me know LOL!
MM's moving the ASK on small buys..?? Have they over done the drop ?
