Good interview. Well done SNG
https://youtu.be/8bLK-DsbVVM
So BAYER have Betaferon which is injected.
He also avoided a pretty key question, namely whether they were one of the trials fast-tracked by the WHO (he avoided this twice and still didn't answer the question). Also, he suggested that interferon was being used in intravenous form in MS patients, but failed to mention whether this therapy was owned by Synairgen (I'm guessing not). My questions are, does SNG have exclusivity to the interferon b produced by their manufacturer and if not, what is to stop another pharma from nebulising this themselves and purchasing for more from the present manufacturer?
I am hopeful this will work and be a success as a therapy, but are we simply hoping that being first to prove efficacy for this indication is enough to stop others undercutting and therefore snatching the supply?
ATB
Lol gotta love it when people dissect an interview, body language what wasn't said, tone of the cough etc etc
Ok so my take on that interview.
1) He did skirt around the question is it part of the WHO trials (So we can assume this is a no)
- My opinion this is because Synairgen are possibly not classed as a big enough outfit with enough umph to be taken as serious as the bigger players?
- That said ....they have all the approvals required to go off and do independent trials and I'm positive the WHO is keeping a very close eye but at this stage doesn't want to put its name to it......JUST YET!
I'm a buyer for sure but im treading a little more careful and trying to add a few more pieces to the jigsaw before I go ALL In :)
What a great interview he seemed very confident! The cough did make me laugh though!
Wow! What a great interview....
Millions of doses later this year!!!
I have posted a YouTube link below to the specific section from the report for anyone who’s interested

Johnnykipper...looking at your post history I would suggest you seek help for manic depression...you couldn't see a positive in a field of positives
I think this is a HUGE endorsement versus the negativity on the others, that don't seem to work!

JUST LISTENED TO THE INTERVIEW A FEW TIMES THE 4 TYPES OF CURE THAT WHO HAS ENDORSED THEY KNOW 3 ARE NOT VERY EFFECTIVE THEY HAVE ENDORSED THE INTERFRON BETA JUST WE ARE NOT PART OF THE WHO TRIAL
WHAT IS INTRESTING IS THAT WE ARE ALREADY MANUFACTURING THE PRODUCT AND CURRENTLEY IN THE PROCESS OF SCALING MANUFACTURING TO MAKE MILLIONS,WOULDN'T DO THIS IF YOU WERE NOT CONFIDENT IN THE OUTCOME
Just not the inhaled version that is currently being tested
Maybe WHO approval is under discussion so musn't be mentioned yet, who knows? (see what I did there ;-)
@sarahrodz Thanks again, great find, and apols for earlier misspelling in my haste to post a working link. Looks like the LSE monitoring algorithms are suspicious of new people posting links.
I think it did actually - and also why are you always negative ? want a cheaper entry I suppose - lol
Indeed. I think we are defo in the right place here.
Didn't inspire much confidence
Interferon beta has been endorsed by the WHO
Just not the inhaled version that is currently being tested.
I agree I think he should have just said no not currently, I don’t see it as an issue. It’s in 6 hospitals, which is not easy in the current climate. If it works the WHO will back it for sure. What’s obvious to me is that the other drugs being touted have some serious question marks against them.
Yes he was sounding like a politician - not answering the direct question. Maybe told not to.
Let's see how difficult it is getting it to the market if it works.
I don't think the UK government will give a damn about the WHO if it's working, nor any other country for that matter!
Very slippery in his answer to the question about whether or not Synergen's drug is one of the four WHO endorsed worldwide trials. In short the answer is no which will inevitably mean, even if it's a resounding success, it will be more difficult getting it to market than it would have been had they been a part of the WHO endorsed trials. Time is lives - and money.
Really good for SNG, sounds like we might be the only game in town really.
Could be hearing quite a lot about synairgen shortly...atb
really good find there - tests started last week - skipped through months of red tape - production all ready to go - fantastic
Mentioned around 12 mins 10 seconds trials started last week sounds very encouraging.
Thanks sarahroz
