I think with crazy prices right now for energy, more and more people will want these metres. Me included. Reckon 600l to be breached soon.
Slowly but surely.
Can it be turned around??
Also is a favourite of swsc. And when mentioned in swsc there is always a little note stating editorial holding :-)
And still building
Institutions already own about 87%
......nationwide rollout.
most volumes seem to be fairly small surprised institutions don't seem to be interested in spite of government plans for nationwide
Can't believe the lack of posting on here, this share looks like it's on an upward trajectory. This markets only going to grow as the smart meter roll out continues
Anything on smart meter roll-out I've missed in the papers, director dealing, etc??
No obvious "black holes" in the results that I see? Any experts on here know if SMS are anywhere close to being a FTSE 250 top company?
should be reasonable.
I was looking at this 2 weeks ago and the sp was 479, now it's 542. Another missed opportunity
iview of the nationwide roll out of smart meters i would have thought there would be more interest & chat on this page ---any views anyone?
long term revenue streams , growing asset base nearly 500k in buys today maybe more - low liquidity and a few new acquisitions to be announced - flies under the radar - up nearly 400% in 3 years.
before I commit to having smart meters fitted -could some kind people post their experience and verdict? many thanks leccy
Smart Meters advertised on telly today Channel 3 . "Smart Meters are coming". it said, plus a bit more. Watch out for it.
Have decided to invest here, based on the fundamentals. However, I notice that my purchase at 12.58 is recorded as a sell. Fundamentals make interesting reading, with great progression over the last five years. Exactly what a low risk investor looks for.
No one posting here. I take that to be a good thing.

today so looks like some fund is buying in. Good visibility of earnings until 2020 and the rollout of smart meters about to accelerate means SMS is well placed. Even though the domestic meter system is less lucrative, the recent non-binding contract adds useful diversity and a good potential revenue stream for the years ahead. I can see SMS going back to 400p by the time of the next trading statement.
coming in......the light bulb moment is kicking in....
starting to warm up...
Strong growth, good diversity, pays a smallish divi but most importantly it is a key player in a market that will be very improatnt in the next five years. It's growth is very good but is not dependent on any one market. It has also made a shrewd acquisition recently. While this won't double in the short-term it certainly should be nearer 400p than 350p. Will also be more immune to any wider market woes due to good visibility and strong growth.
