Niinvestor. I contacted h&l via the app about trading after the joining to Russell mcap. They have basically confirmed what you have said. No action required.
Thanks again for your accurate response and good luck with your holdings.
Regards.
Thanks. I put a few of the Russell index companies ticker headers into h&l search bar last night and got no companies found.
Was a tad worried. See what happens.
I hadn’t thought of that, however I think it will just continue trading as it is under ticker symbol MDAI and no action is required from us. When I look up what inclusion means, “Membership in the Russell Microcap® Index, which remains in place for one year, means automatic inclusion in the appropriate growth and value style indexes. FTSE Russell determines membership for its Russell indexes primarily by objective, market-capitalization rankings, and style attributes”. So I think it just means that MDAI will be included in certain ETFs & index funds which should open up the investor base to institutions or individuals who invest in these overall indexes rather than individual companies.
Morning all. The recent news on mdai going on to the Russell smallcap has left me with a question.
Does anyone know if it will still be trading through H&L? Or will I have to sell and rebuy with another broker?
Thanks in advance for any advice and apologies if this is a dumb question.
Nice that management is giving some confidence to the market by making inside purchases of the stock. Reflected in the upward share price movement today. No doubt the shorts will try to bring it down again today and the days that follow. But company is going well and little bits of news like this keep chipping away. One day there will be an unravelling of the shorts which will reward us all for our patience.
Good morning to everyone still here.
I’m after a little bit of advice.
Before the merger last year I had to complete a form (I think it was a kr1 but my be mistaken ). So just wondering if it was a one off or is it an annual thing?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Would also like to add that we all know that we have taken a good kicking post merger. I have taken the opportunity to average down considerably and await good solid news.
NHS on board and may get a green light from Saudi mehopes.
Good things ahead and lots to look forward to.
Good luck everyone.
🤞
Glad people still on here. I’m following your multiple ids Jimzi. Great work and always excellent comments. There is an absolute troll on yahoo message board who posts complete nonsense about 10 times a day. Annoying. Yeah, I’m feeling that our company is starting to get some transaction and could fly hard any time. Excellent report out from SP Angel. Conservative price target of $10.6. I feel that some big news and contracts are imminent. Hang in there everyone and don’t give away any of your shares. Multi-bagger in the making here.
Keep it up, Jimzi, I, too, feel that maybe, just maybe, it is beginning to turn. This shorting business, especially the Naked Shorters, if it exists here, is all beyond me. Surely, if they allowed the the shareprice to rise we would all be better off and many UK shareholders would see a large reduction in their current loss.- I certainly would!

Thanks pensionDeficit for the link.
Great article. News finally started to get out there. Hopefully the nhs will release some more positive news and the rest of the world wakes up to this “groundbreaking technology ”.
A couple of contracts and off we go.

PD
Thank you so much, NIInvestor, for a quick response regarding the Mail on Sunday article. I have now read this excellent description of Deep View written by Ethan Ennals and I hope that it can receive more publicity with it being linked to Spectral AI.
Also, thank you, for your comments regarding my transfer of shares to an ISA which are just as I see it so it is good for me to receive confirmation that perhaps I am thinking aright.
I remain bullish hence my interest in the transfer of my shares to an ISA and hope that it will not be too long before the shorters move on.
Hi Watty. It’s on page 51 in the Health section. “AI tech to speed up help for burns victims” by Ethan Ennals. It doesn’t actually mention Spectral AI by name but does refer to DeepView. Yes, I understand about switching the holdings to the ISA. The risk is being out of the market when the shares suddenly rocket. Maybe the best thing is to wait until the next big move upward (as even if it’s a big move it’s unlikely that you’ll be in profit at that point), wait until it stalls and then sell. Hopefully then you can get buy the shares in your ISA. From what I’ve seen it does stall after a big move and drift backward. Probably best to try at the next move upward because as time goes by the company may become more established and less susceptible to a drift backward.
I missed the reference to deep view technology in yesterday's Mail on Sunday. Please, which article did it appear in?
As mentioned previously, I am unable to transfer my holding from my Trading Account to my ISA by way of bed and breakfast so have to sell first before re-investing. The question I am toying with is when do I do that bearing in mind that like a number of UK shareholders I am sure, my holding is 60% down, currently.
Hope everybody is doing well and keeping the faith here. The deep view technology was mentioned in The Mail on Sunday yesterday as “game-changing technology”. Earnings was solid and the main thing is that commercialisation is on track. It is frustrating that the shorts are still with us manipulating the stock. However, as awareness increases our day will come. I still fully believe that we should get to $10 per share and then go far beyond that as deals ramp up and the technology expands to other areas. It’s all about contract / deal completion and Spectral AI should win plenty given we are a monopoly in a current $15bn market.
To anyone who is still looking in here.
Any thoughts on q1 financial results?
🤞

Very frustrating. How low can this go? Thought the board would be filling their boots at these levels. I think this will tread water at best until a new contract comes in from the UK or middle east. Keep holding the faith.

Correct watty. I’ve noticed this myself. God only knows what would happen if they released bad news.
As for the short positions I am not sure how many shares are outstanding. But in the event of good commercial news the short sellers will have to close and should have a positive impact on the price.
I think it will be a case of who blinks first.
I’m still holding and hoping. 🤞
Over the last few months all good news has seen a fall in the share price! It seems to me that until the shorters move on, whenever that might be, we shall see the share price held back. I do not understand shorting, especially relating to Naked Shorting if it exists here, so always interested to hear comments from orher investors regarding this.
The company has just been awarded a quality achievement award from the Texas manufacturer assistance centre.
Hopefully this should now start to shine a light on what the company has to offer.
Positive news imho.
Onward and upward.

Good morning to anyone still looking in here. It’s gone rather quiet.
I’ve tried setting up an account with stocktwits.
Got suspended after first post. Then got an apology and reinstated only to be suspended permanently for re posting my first post.
So if only for selfish reasons I would like to see a bit more activity on here.
You never no it might bring a bit of exposure to the company.
Fingers crossed for good news and we start to find our legs.
I truly believe that this share price is massively undervalued.
All in my humble opinion.
Gla.
Thank you, thevid; I attempted to do a bed and breakfast but was unable to do so by transferring from my trading account to my ISA. However, I can put monies into my ISA, as you stated quite correctly, by selling shares held on my trading account and later buying into my ISA.
Yes you can, i have mine in isa.
A new fiscal tax year in the UK. Is it possible to put MDAI in an ISA for tax purposes and if not, where?

Thank you, NIInvestor, another of your contributions that I agree with entirely.
I was annoyed with myself at the time of the merger that I had not checked out Rosecliff with Michael Murphy as their CEO having put great faith in Spectral with their outstanding devices and set-up with the American Government. However, no need to dwell on the complication of the terms of the merger, the delay in the UK shareholders receiving our shares and the fall in the share price - I am now 60% down as I feel many other shareholders will be - but now that Michael Murphy has exited the boardroom I am wondering what the effect this will have on Rosecliff, Spectral and perhaps more importantly, the share price. I have been somewhar surprised that I have seen very little mention of Rosecliff since the merger and I am wondering what impact they have had on the shareprice.
I shall be very interested, in view of MIchael Murphy's exit, to hear any views what effect this might have in the short/medium term on the share price, if any.
I’m personally glad to see Mike Murphy exit the board as I always felt he was an untrustworthy sort out for his own personal gain. His place has been taken by Dr DiMaio who has an astounding medical background and is a co-founder. Both he and Erich Spangenberg own 45% of the shares and these have been agreed to be locked up for a further 180 days. So nearly half the shares are locked up. I encourage everybody to persevere and hang in there. It will just be a matter of time before the stock price reflects the great potential of our company. It will take as long as it takes, but I believe we will all be rewarded in the end. Don’t let the shorts wear you down. As Charlie Munger said, the money is made in the waiting.

Thanks for the info medjed.
Glad to see o few people still here.
I have been sitting on the sidelines on stocktwits watching and have seen a few people calling this a traders dream.
Also comparing the charts over a few days I can see a pattern so can understand why people are trading it.
Hopefully some news will put paid to this and might see some movement.
Good luck.
🤞
I started to have a look at other NASDAQ stocks which have been going mental recently.
For example RVSN and MINM, I checked them out on Fintel, and its a similar story to MDAI. Every day short volume is roughly 50% of all shares traded.
And yet, their share price managed to break free.
So I am hoping MDAI can do the same. Just need more volume. The shorts can stay clinging on and short 50% of all trades but looks like that won't stop the share price going up.
Let's not get too excited. We have much ground to make up yet before most of us break even. Its positive stuff though. Looks good

About time.
Good luck.
🤞
Over a million traded pre market already. 4am over there.
....
Wow.
Movement at last.
Starting to get attention.
🤞
Fintel stating only 2000 short stock available. This has to be the start of a big bounce. We might see some big buys going through. Well i hope. Good luck everyone.

Just an update to advise you that I received no response from Investor Relations to my recent email. This is no surprise to me with my being only a pi who I feel mean little to a quoted company.
Since my last notification, there have been a number of contributions all have which have contained pertinent comments and much food for thought so many thanks for that. I have tried to understand shorting but to no success and as for Naked Shorting I am completely "thick" and just cannot see how they can be removed from future dealings as there are no borrowing fees and no time limit. I am just sitting on my shareholding and and see what happens.
Last post: olliemarples, 19 Jan 2024 23:48
All UK Investors have been truly shafted here.. any positive news going forwards will just be swallowed up by naked shorters. The only way I see out of this situation is when the blood sucking corrupt vampires in the USA get bored and move onto another stock...
Unlike Updg02 I recommend shareholders fight tooth and nail here. What has happened to this stock is not in any way normal.
The more of you that report this to the necessary regulators the better.
What has occurred is nothing short of disgusting and the rules of this asylum deny me the right to use more suitable words to describe all the parties involved in this farce.
I for one will not give up, and I for one will not be sitting here for a few years waiting for the crumby board, the brokers and various other parasites to finish playing us.
Kick, scream and shout until the swine's either listen or or someone else is. WE HAVE A LEGAL CASE HERE, DON'T FORGET THAT.
I share everyone 's frustration here but most regulatory bodies aren't interested in us PI's and are pretty toothless anyway. In my opinion, patience is required here and we need to wait until the next positive news update. This will send the SP north very quickly. Best not to get too worried about short term movements unless you were looking for a quick trade. We are all well underwater but I believe our day will come in the next 12-18 months. Good luck to all.
Cheers Watty.
Seen a few posters stateside not happy either. One calling for suspension to try and stop this shorting. Would this help?
Thanks for doing that Watty.
I would hope the company will talk to the SEC to at least get the culprit brokers fined, and to pit the stock on their ‘hard to short’ list.
Currently they are running amok shorting millions of shares when it suits them.
Well done. It will be interesting to see what Vince says. Thanks for doing that and letting us all know
There is nothing to add to recent messages appearing on the site except to say that I have just sent an email to Vince Capone of Internet Relations at Spectral. I pointed out that the share price has reached its lowest point in the past 12 months with many of the huge number of transactions at times being out of proportion with many shareholders believing that perhaps illegal Naked Shorting is taking place and that I feel the Board of Directors should be making a statement or appear to be taking some form of action.
Last post: alwayswinning, 16 Jan 2024 21:48
It's a total disgrace.
The dirty dealing couldn't be more out in the open and nobody cares. A filthy rotten world we live in now.
Yes unfortunately naked shorters (exempt brokers ad MMs) still fully in control.
Look at Fintel, 6 million shares shorted on Friday!
Public float is only 200k!
Saving grace seems to be they are unable to push it much below $2.5 and it keeps wanting to fly.
I’m not sure what event is going to make them give up. Hopefully something related to the government funding. If the government wants this company to succeed the naked shorters will have to be kicked off eventually.
Never seen anything like this! Unbeleivable!
Sit tight. No other choice currently.
Wow. Almost 13% down. I think the shorters are winning atm. We need some good news. Trying to keep positive but the sp is not doing me any favours. Any thoughts?
Aye. Just hoping for some news and shorts get burned. Been a long ride from merger. I can pick them. Lol.

the naked prciks must be fighting hard to keep it down. Be interesting to look at Fintel tomorrow to see if they naked shorted 50% of 17 million shares.
When will they break?
5 mil volume already.

The following release has just been issued. The positive is that things are moving forwards, but not sure this will do anything for the price in the short term. A year plus wait to confirm what will be hopefully very positive results.
DALLAS, Jan. 11, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Spectral AI, Inc. (NASD:MDAI)
(“Spectral AI” or the “Company”), an artificial intelligence (AI)
company focused on medical diagnostics for faster and more accurate treatment
decisions in clinical wound care, announces the enrollment of the first
patient in the pivotal study to validate DeepView AI(®) using its
proprietary imaging technology for burn size and healing assessment. This
pivotal study is expected to be the final clinical trial before seeking FDA
marketing authorization for the burn indication in 2025 and will be conducted
in burn centers and emergency departments across the US, enrolling both adults
and pediatric patients.
Niko Pagoulatos, Ph.D., Chief Operating Officer of the Company stated: “We
believe this study will further demonstrate the truly innovative and versatile
nature of our technology, as well as its ability to predict burn wound healing
potential on the first day of injury with significantly greater accuracy and
speed than the methods currently used today. We continue to utilize $251
million of non-dilutive government funding since 2019 to validate DeepView for
burn indication, while aggressively advancing other clinical indications like
diabetic foot ulcers in pursuit of our ‘one platform—multiple clinical
indications’ strategy.”
“We are excited to begin enrollment in this pivotal study implementing the
DeepView system in clinical sites across the United States. The study will
help us validate DeepView’s game-changing AI to accurately assess burn wound
healing potential on day-one which could lead to early treatment decisions,”
said Jeffrey C. Carter, MD, FACS, the lead investigator for the study. “This
study is anticipated to deepen the knowledge and understanding of how DeepView
will transform burn care pathways while improving patient outcomes,
concurrently strengthening our country against the challenges of Burn Mass
Casualty Incidents to safeguard and prepare for unforeseen emergencies.”
The data obtained in the study will be compared to assessment by physicians
and used for regulatory submission to the FDA by the first half of 2025.

Thank you, NIInvestor, I find it is so difficult to predict how the share price will go in the foreseeable future and even when the excellent news of the $149 Government Grant was announced recently the share price fell on the day! I should like to hear a comment from the Spentral on this matter and also to know if the Financial Services are taking any interest in these share dealings.
I can only guess, oliiemarples, but it may well be that UK shareholders who held shares on AIM before transfer to Nasdaq are showing a current loss of approx 60%, as am I, too.
Good questions. I would also like some insight into this as I've never experienced this naked short selling before. I had a look at the Spectral AI sight and there are no updates. Perhaps in early to mid February the full year 2023 results will be announced and some catalysts or promising forecasts may arise from that as well as reference to the trading. I feel that some good news or upcoming catalysts can panic the shorts and trigger a mass exodus. One can only hope.
We are now well into the New Year so what is the future of the share dealings over say the next 3 months. I seem to be out of touch with investors' comments so I am wondering if the financial authorities are looking into the share dealings as many do seem to be suspect in which case, illegal. Have any comments been made by the Spentral management regarding how the stock market and the mm are reacting to dealings since transfer to Nasdaq. Obviously there are large institutions that are involved and as I see it if there are Naked Shorters , as mentioned a few weeks' ago, they do not have fees to pay and there is no time limit so could this go on for goodness knows how long. I am inexperienced in this type of thing so always very pleased to read instructive comments.

Down 67% I just have no words.
Silly question time. Can I get a Nasdaq company on the LSE site? Had a look but can’t find anything.
