Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
Over the last few months all good news has seen a fall in the share price! It seems to me that until the shorters move on, whenever that might be, we shall see the share price held back. I do not understand shorting, especially relating to Naked Shorting if it exists here, so always interested to hear comments from orher investors regarding this.
Unfortunately, I shall be unable to join the webinar this evening starting at 7pm (UK) so, please, if anyone is able to post any important news thereafter I should be most grateful. Thank you in anticipation of a response.
Thank you, thevid; I attempted to do a bed and breakfast but was unable to do so by transferring from my trading account to my ISA. However, I can put monies into my ISA, as you stated quite correctly, by selling shares held on my trading account and later buying into my ISA.
A new fiscal tax year in the UK. Is it possible to put MDAI in an ISA for tax purposes and if not, where?
Keep it up, Jimzi, I, too, feel that maybe, just maybe, it is beginning to turn. This shorting business, especially the Naked Shorters, if it exists here, is all beyond me. Surely, if they allowed the the shareprice to rise we would all be better off and many UK shareholders would see a large reduction in their current loss.- I certainly would!
Thank you, NIInvestor, another of your contributions that I agree with entirely.
I was annoyed with myself at the time of the merger that I had not checked out Rosecliff with Michael Murphy as their CEO having put great faith in Spectral with their outstanding devices and set-up with the American Government. However, no need to dwell on the complication of the terms of the merger, the delay in the UK shareholders receiving our shares and the fall in the share price - I am now 60% down as I feel many other shareholders will be - but now that Michael Murphy has exited the boardroom I am wondering what the effect this will have on Rosecliff, Spectral and perhaps more importantly, the share price. I have been somewhar surprised that I have seen very little mention of Rosecliff since the merger and I am wondering what impact they have had on the shareprice.
I shall be very interested, in view of MIchael Murphy's exit, to hear any views what effect this might have in the short/medium term on the share price, if any.
Just an update to advise you that I received no response from Investor Relations to my recent email. This is no surprise to me with my being only a pi who I feel mean little to a quoted company.
Since my last notification, there have been a number of contributions all have which have contained pertinent comments and much food for thought so many thanks for that. I have tried to understand shorting but to no success and as for Naked Shorting I am completely "thick" and just cannot see how they can be removed from future dealings as there are no borrowing fees and no time limit. I am just sitting on my shareholding and and see what happens.
There is nothing to add to recent messages appearing on the site except to say that I have just sent an email to Vince Capone of Internet Relations at Spectral. I pointed out that the share price has reached its lowest point in the past 12 months with many of the huge number of transactions at times being out of proportion with many shareholders believing that perhaps illegal Naked Shorting is taking place and that I feel the Board of Directors should be making a statement or appear to be taking some form of action.
Thank you, NIInvestor, I find it is so difficult to predict how the share price will go in the foreseeable future and even when the excellent news of the $149 Government Grant was announced recently the share price fell on the day! I should like to hear a comment from the Spentral on this matter and also to know if the Financial Services are taking any interest in these share dealings.
I can only guess, oliiemarples, but it may well be that UK shareholders who held shares on AIM before transfer to Nasdaq are showing a current loss of approx 60%, as am I, too.
We are now well into the New Year so what is the future of the share dealings over say the next 3 months. I seem to be out of touch with investors' comments so I am wondering if the financial authorities are looking into the share dealings as many do seem to be suspect in which case, illegal. Have any comments been made by the Spentral management regarding how the stock market and the mm are reacting to dealings since transfer to Nasdaq. Obviously there are large institutions that are involved and as I see it if there are Naked Shorters , as mentioned a few weeks' ago, they do not have fees to pay and there is no time limit so could this go on for goodness knows how long. I am inexperienced in this type of thing so always very pleased to read instructive comments.
As the Company is being linked with illegal Naked Shorters, has the time arrived for the Directors to make a statement because I do not think that they will wish to be involved, or I hope not, with illegal activities when they have such a bright future ahead of them. I wonder if they are happy how Nasdaq has performed for them since leaving AIM and if there have been any regrets in leaving the London market.
The last few months have been a completely new experience for me in my limited involvement with share investing particually when a company on the London market has moved to Nasdaq and this does seem that we are going to see more of it in the near future from what I read in the National Press. It appears that the HL shareholders are or have received their $MDAI shares today and with the sp so depressed I doubt that many holders will be selling in the near future. When and what will cause a sudden upward shift in the sp and what would one expect the sp price to rise to.
I liked the greetings from the Company wishing all a Happy Holday and "cheers for a spectacular 2024". The wording of reference to 2024 has cheered me up.
Happy Christmas everyone and a peaceful and prosperous New Year. I, too, truly believe that the share price will take off before too long with it just being a case of sitting tight being patient.
With the upward movement in the share price today, it seems that the filing had no adverse effect as Ninvestor stated it would not and that the appointment of the new C F O has been met enthusiastically. A lovely Christmas present for the shareholders with HL if they could rightly receive their shares and indeed for all of us, I am sure.
In simple language, please will someone explain what all this means and the likely effect of the share price to existing share-holders.
Thank you NIlnvestor, for your excellent contribution all of which makes sense to me. I need 6% to breakeven and shall certainly not sell below that. As you mentioned, it will be interesting to see how shorters react, especially Naked Shorters, who will have no fees to pay and as far as I am aware no time factor involved. If Naked Shorters do exist what number of shares are they connected with?
Yes, won't it be good to see the stock price trade on fundamentals.
I have a feeling that I detect a slight strengthening in the share movement today so perhaps things are beginning to happen at long last. Surely it cannot be too long now before HL shareholders receive their shares. What happens then I really do not know because I just do not understand how Shorters operate and certainly not Naked Shorters.
Thank you, Awl007, I shall have a read of the book you mentioned.
I shall be pleased to hear any comments later of the 1-1 Conference which SMDAI Management and Institutions are attending.
