we will see our bidder come out the wood work much sooner than expected - some strong buying happening
Even @1.20 most would still be way under water
Way over ‘normal’.....
happening today fairly consistent - would imagine we will get an offer at or around 1.20 some stage in the next few months
80p plus today...
Good day, and without big volume. I agree it's got the potential to really fly.
Maybe this is some natural bounceback after the decline in SP over the past months, perhaps as the issues highlighted by the company work their way through - "Our share price suffered towards the end of 2018 and in the period thereafter owing to the settlement of our patent litigation case, some investor sell-down, and declining levels of investor interest for smaller biotechnology companies on the London Stock Exchange."
And it's been tipped for t/o a few times
Could be a high flyer...recently was £2.50...
i was right on takeda and shire 2months before it happened - watch this space

At 50p it's easy to be cynical. Institutional investors have come & gone. Mostly gone ...In better times it could be said tech savvy investors know the landscape. Why not have an experienced trader/investor in tech get stuck in? There appears to be a gang all willing to invest heavily in the enterprise. As a PI I would say that it is because they think they are going to make money. And their track record on the whole supports this assumption.
But perhaps there is a bigger picture between them & SLN is just a hot spot ...
Whatever. I have added recently as they seem very cheap & price is closing in on cash. All those millions burnt for little or no enterprise value? i'm not so sure
Any input appreciated MM
there is an interesting back story. for starters:

The one on SLN website is quite old. Woodford bailed after getting badly stung on other bio. Ex CEO Mortazavi added significantly a couple of months back. Don’t recall any other major moves but an up to date list would be useful
Disappointing no talk of this settlement with Alnylam. Clearly the market and myself included were disappointed this wasn't taken over.
I thought he could of done better championing the stock and its apparent undervaluation.
I am pretty disappointed with this one.
Only encouraging aspects for me is that the ex ceo bought a load higher than me and I would assume its undervalued. They obviously announced another drug candidate yesterday, if they announce a few more, likely this will be a takeover candidate again.

cash
burns
have also bought in two tranches averaging 66p now
the settlement with alnylam although lower than expected - provides a clean slate and small royalties of perhaps $15-20m over the product life. - given the cash in the bank - this is stupidly undervalued - and id be very surprised if this wasn't bought out this year at some stage
Made a small buy at 67. Looking forward to hearing the early results of the phase III trial of QPI-1002, I think it is hugely important. A successful phase III trial could point towards it being a major drug, just short of blockbuster status. That would deliver huge revenues for a small company like Silence and also demonstrate a proven ability to deliver mass market drugs.
I have some questions about this company because I'm considering buying at the moment. I was hoping someone in the know could enlighten me.
-Quark pharma says that they presented abstracts about QPI-1002 at two conferences recently. Has anyone heard anything about this or about these results?
-Is the chemical structure of QPI-1002 and other silence candidates an official secret or is it described in some patent documents that I can't find at the moment. I'm trying to work out whether antisense drugs are each completely unique or based on a modular pattern.
Thanks for your postings.
This UK court schedule indicates the UK proceedings start on the 3rd of December and last for 10 days. Either way its start of December.

From what I can tell judgement is typically within 6 weeks. So that would be before Feb next year.
