Yes, POG well above $2000/Oz!
Investing in good miners is now a MUST! As the Colonel points out, $2800 is just around the corner!

Controversial opinion. I think Tanzania is going to be a more stable place to do mining business in the next 5 years compared to much of West Africa
Why? The Acacia and Barrick events are catalysing real on the ground reform. They want to be an attractive place to do business and Barrick (a proper company) are now helping them to get their ducks in order.
The problem with an aggressive takeover of SHG is ‘Tanzania’.
It’s a bit of a no go zone in world mining and why SHG are so cheap IMO. There is money to be made, but you need some serious in country skills to be able to deal with the country and the President. I just don’t see people lining up to pay hundreds of millions of dollars (it would take a large premium to the SP from here) to take it over.
So it seems that 2020 will be the year that gold reaches $2,020.
And $2,100....
Will it also be the year that it reaches £2,020???
Gold isn't hanging about, either.....pushing on to $2,004.
Will SHG be allowed to reap the rewards is the $64,000,000 question? Predators are probably already doing the numbers! Not a bad problem to have though
I think gold producers will start to trade on a 10-14% free cash flow yield. What share price would that put Shanta on?
Re: - why the AUX price just takes off and then plummets? I think algorithms and pre-placed orders have a lot to do with this. A lot of trading at this level is done by an increasingly more complicated set of algorithms and mind bending mathematics, for example just look at when the AUX Spot Price just hit $2k? It was followed by an immediate drop of $8-10 a troy ounce, I think that is down to computer based automatic trades. The pattern I have noticed though is that can lead to amplification of momentum trading and creates ever increasing volatility IMO.
Silver is the star! Up a quid today already!
