Was that someone taking a punt this afternoon?
Or did someone get a wee sniff of something?
You could of helped sgz use the railing threw tyndrum to transport ore to a plant that actually works. All aboard!
Andrew, my reasons were on the level, but also I'm getting old and can't be chewed, plus I have other things to occupy me like looking after Mrs. R, grandkids and great grandkids to amuse and a model railway! Simple as that. Playing shares was good while it lasted and of SG I know no more than you. Still interested in the future of SG and await yet another horizon.
TTFN, choo, choo, R.
Rockhead, I’m not sure I but into your narrow definition of why you won’t invest to be honest. I think you probably know what the majority know and that’s why your not invested but if market conditions are the real reason, each to their own.
Bp - a fair point well made that people havnt been buying up. As for the future, even if they come out and say that everything is great, who would believe them.
What do we reckon? An update on Friday 1st or Monday 4th?
What's for sure is that no one is hoovering up shares at these prices. Ominous as you'd think those close to the action would be piling in if the company's report is looking favourable.
Will the new gKx+ be chosen because of the way HR Karen thinks men should behave together - yes, she really did, and was allowed to, have that as the hiring criterion in the documentary - or because ^# can run the company at a profit? Will there actually be a future for us that needs a new boss?
Rockhead - sure, if we have a secure future, robust production figures, a means of running the company profitably and a realistic way to get our new mines up and operating, then yes, 13p looks good to me as well. Lol.
If were still investing in shares, at 13p I would give it a wee punt subject to DYOR, but things were not looking good for UK natural resource explorers and producers going into the pandemic and so I chose to withdraw from shares, with SGZ being the last.
Your investment might better have been initially smaller, leaving funds to add later or to average down for a better chance to recoup a paper loss, as I have done before.
Cononish has always had and still has potential (IMO) as i have previously posted. Can or will SG deliver that potential is another matter. Past and present members of the team had commitment and achieved much, but mistakes were made (AISI) and so here we are or where are we?
We need to produce 1000gAu per month for P1 (subject to mining upgrades) and that needs 2 developments, one stope in preparation and one in production IMO. That's what I would be looking for and if achieved in Q3, 13p SP would look good to me.
We shall see. Good luck to all here, R.
Hard to believe you’re not invested rockhead. Are you telling us you don’t see any opportunities lol.
Loosing 4K is plenty. If there was opportunity to regain that loss here, I would invest. Better opportunities elseware in my personal opinion.
Good luck to you and well done on your profit from this one.
Not a Rangers fan and not great on fiction either it would appear.
There are two posters on this BB who are not invested in SGZ.........Andrew and me. I made money out of my investment and he has said he made a loss.
A good weekend to all here, R.
all will be revealed by an old man who sits at the end of the bar in tyndrum at some point in the distant future. he’s about 80 and tells everyone how when he was young, he invested in a gold mine. all his wealth was pumped in. only to be deceived by those he thought were friends. one of his hero’s called big phil even flew off to switzerland. it turns out, the mountain wasn’t full of gold, his **** wasn’t lined with diamonds, and alas, he had built his last attic conversion to move into all he had left. a shack parked up at the back of the tyndrum inn. some tourists often fling him a penny or buy him a lager shandy to quieten him down as he is seen to get feverish, often shouting, “it’s coming tomorrow” and “the new rig is in the post i tell ye”. social workers stepped in when he tried to change his name by deed poll to tb. short for totally bonkers. some say on a dark night he sits on the porch listening for the sound of the pick axes in the dark. still believing that it will all come good in the end.
GG, I doubt that Andrew is a Rangers supporter.
So TB has vanished, he says he is in the pub in Tyndrum most weekends if you really miss him?
A whopping quarter of a penny rise on the strength of a £400 buy.
And so it begins.......... (that's how the story goes, tb, right?)
Not only didn't they tell us the name of the undertakers carrying out the review or the finish date, they also omitted to tell us when the review was starting.
To continue BBB's religious analogy, will we see wisps of white smoke before the results are announced as people associated with the company and the consultancy begin to buy here and there or, for those that already have shares, start offloading in huge chunks....if they can.
No inside stories anymore about the grades or ore........or the number of lorries turning out of the mine....nothing at all.
Carry on, Scotgold! More of a farce than any of the films. (Yes, it's a repeat.)
''Just a wee prod ,'' Would that be a 5 foot Rangers supporter?😁😁😁
I guess it was a case of:

HAND, R.
Rockhead,
Just a wee prod in retort to the previous post. More chance of thatcher riding shergar threw the stock exchange than this mob turning it around.
If it does change tack, it will be a niche private operator under a different guise with all of these issues and shareholders a distant memory.
Atb
Blood thirsty stuff, Andrew.
Maybe he'll reinvent himself one day. Reinvention very popular throughout time. Even prehistoric species snuffed out by great extinctions have later been replaced by newly evolved forms with very similar characteristics to fill the vacant ecological niche as 'Lazarus species.' It seems to have happened to some posters on LSE in the past and is popular with popstars like David Bowie and and politicians, usually around election times. I recall Margaret thatcher being re-elected for the third time in 1987.
Let's hope that Scotgold can do the same for the sake of investors here.
GLA, R.
One for rockhead after his pal tb done a runner

Indeed it is! See the next post.
Thanks Rockhead. It is silly season isn't it!
Your ET seems to have gone in the same direction as SGZ this year. Perhaps it's the gravitational pull of the heavy metal that SG have not managed to get out of Cononish. Maybe next month Rodders.
Have a good w/e, R.
Absolutely nothing missed GG, unless you want to include the discussions of the 2 resident 'flower pot me.' It seems that no news is good news, so the lights must still be on. It might be worth coming back at the end of Q3.
ATB, R.
Someone seems to be dumping batches of 50,000 every day or so. Wonder who and why
Evening, r. There is about the same exuberant demonstration of life force on Mars at the present time as there is at Cononish. And about the same amount of enthusiastic admiration for the preservers of life there as there is for those in charge of the ICU at Scotgold.
Evening all. I have been away, have I missed anything? I see we are not rich yet but Scotgold is still with us, is there life in the old dog yet? BR GG
