Why don't you provide the balance Troajan?
I'll start you off:
1. Some funding was announced over the summer
2. They were recruiting two underground engineers recently and promoted someone else
That's it as far as I can see but please, enlighten us.
I can see any ramping
not one shyluk
There's plenty of balance if the majority of posters are ramping away 100% of the time. Why not criticise them for never commenting on the negatives (of which there have been plenty)?
Baz, good to see you still have humour under your suntan.
At least today this BB has woken up even if it is reminiscing the negatives and posters sound like lemons on the express!
Just me taking the mick again, not being shy and not holidaying in TB's garden (good one Andrew).
No holidays for me just now. Just looking after Mrs. R and off to meet my surgeon tomorrow. Be back in a while if I survive, LoL!
TTFN and regards to all, R.
When 99% of their postings are bashing,24/7 ,forever
without one iota of balance.(it makes ones case more credible,of you show balance)
what does that tell ya?
They haven't been making enough Scottish gold to sell it more widely. That's because it costs them too much to produce it - so much that they can't make a decent profit on it.
Remember the "premium product" we all got told about. Heard today half of it remains on the shelfs unsold at the jewellers. I'm not saying scottish gold isn't desirable, as it is. But clearly not been pitched right. High end nonsense instead of just selling it by the brick to the public direct. Not got a clue.
Are you getting Nat and Danny mixed up?
This just in from a local…. It’s over, finito, caput. There’s more chance of TB hosting a drag night to pay back his followers in the tyndrum inn while rockhead slips him 20s from his sgz profits than there is of this mine turning a profit in our lifetimes!
No outcomes from the ongoing review before the third quarter update?
Surely that can't be right.
Are there no bona fide locals who lurk here and fancy providing a heads up?
👍👍👍😁😁😁💯💯💯
Baz, Shylock was right. I don't think RH would say that. Here are some other reviews:
• GeorgeZibbos :
"What an absolute sham. Shylock was right all along."
• yayay :
"I'm now resigned to believing that Mr Shylock may have been right all along."
• Rosewall :
"[His] arguments are coherent. I might add that they are often more coherent than the "rampers."
• Sabzahmed :
"Shylock, you've been warning people about SGZ…My regret is I've been among the few that haven't listened and have topped up several times instead. And now I'm a lot poorer for it."
• malkie :
"much as it pains me I find it difficult to fault your posts."
• VincentVega :
"if you wanted to take somebody to war alongside you with a comprehensive understanding of the risks that you were getting into then shylock would be in the top 3."
• Bigbadbaz :
"Love him or loathe him he definitely does research." (2016)
"Love him or loathe him his predictions were way way more correct than TB's." (2023)
I think you are RH taking the mick.
I wasn't but you are not Shylock either.
Baz, don't confuse me with wee Graham.
Lol,ok TB glad to see you're alive and kicking.
I loved him, baz.
Rockhead. Perhaps i'm just old fashioned and believe that a man should have the courage of his convictions. He's ran like a dog and hid when times were tough. I've seen grease dripping salesmen with more honesty. Do you think he would be in hiding if the cash was flowing anyware other than out the door? Of course he wouldn't. But a coward is, as a coward does. Would you trust him with any conversion work if this is how he treats his problems... me either. Hide and seek world champion at this rate.
I've heard of marco polo. But TB Samson is another level.
On the benidorm front, i've been known to sun myself on the beaches of benidorm from time to time. Even enjoyed the odd comedian on the strip. A few years back it was a comedy hypnotist. I ended up flinging a rolex across the room to my mate. Not because I was hypnotised, but because I was drunk, on stage and didn't want it getting scratched. So decided to fling it across the room instead. Still a better decision than my SGZ investment lol.
Where do you holiday Rockhead? TB's garden?
PS, as I recall the actual gold grade from the stockpile was 4gms/tonne.
Good evening Rockhead,I just got back from Beni last Wednesday. It was way too hot for me but should be fine for when I next go back in October (16 days). In referring to the bpt it was the stated gold grade that let them down + seeing your memory is so good, our resident cheerleader (TB) was announcing to all and sundry the we were going to make 100k per month out of the stockpile. (Venetian coat tails) ahaha ffs. For those not here long enough RH is referring to 'Shylock'. Love him or loathe him his predictions were way way more correct than TB's. RH,I hope all is well at your end. Baz.
A weekend of three stooges mourning their losses.
Baz reverting to Mr. Grumble mode of Venetian coat-tail days, Andrew yearning for a return of TB and BP repeating himself, but at least being pragmatic about it.
Baz, age seems to be eroding your memory on the BPT. It was about demonstrating that gold and gold containing minerals could be extracted to persuade NLR and others to open their piggy banks and that the arising tailings would be sufficiently benign to persuade the national park to allow dry-stacking rather than a tailings dam at much greater up-front cost. It was hoped that the gold and concentrate produced would cover much of the BPT cost, but there was one of SG's infamous errors in stating that the heap contained 7.8g/t Au based upon a previous owner's historical assays. An expectation of 5 to 8 g/t would have been more sensible.
All that is passed, so lighten up lads. It must be time for a holiday. Beni for Baz, perhaps Paris for Andrew (watch out for an arrow!) and where does BP fancy? A good time for a break in this spell of good weather and before the end Q3 report burdens your minds.
Regards to all, R.
What about option 4. TB is going to ride to the rescue and save us all. Because remember all of the definite promises he made. We were all so stupid for thinking anything other than what he promised would happen. Well TB, coke out of hiding you coward and take the floor?
With the sizeable investment announced in earlier in the summer are there not only three possibilities?
1. That money was a futile attempt to rescue the company. It was throwing good money after bad and the backers chose unwisely.
2. There is a future mapped out for the directors and the big boys but it will royally shaft ordinary shareholders.
3. It's fine! Relax! That investment and the anticipated report will ensure pots and pots of jam tomorrow.
I'm not sure which of the above is most likely but are there any other possibilities?
Nice that tb still gets a mention in p*ssing now and again. Remember his tales of the mine being approached by interested buyers....."they wouldn't be the first" and that kind of tripe.
This was a folly from day one. The big investors never came because it was obvious that it was too small for long term profit.TB ripped me and many others apart for disagreeing but at the end of the day he has been proved wrong at every step of the way. The management were dreamers, buying licences in Portugal and France(???) the BPT was a fiasco, they could not turn a shilling on free ore at their feet nor even get the perceived grades right. If Cononish is given away free to a man with money,I doubt it would break even. The dream is over.
Just reminiscing about the days we got told this year there would be billions. Lhs was going to be the great game changer and everything done before was just setting up for this big moment when it would all come good. The best ceo, new drill rigs, new lhs strategy, one more raise to get it over the line into massive profit. Now…. Abject silence while an undefined “review” happens to tell us all how it will now be saved again. Anyone bored yet?
About time sgz came clean and explained exactly what has happened and exactly what is going on. Silence is deafening
