Any good?
Just-read-it
Apparently the proposals been emailed out to shareholders but I haven't received a copy. Has anyone received a copy?
"I thought we where supposed to hear the Ben T proposal yesterday. Must be lost in the post." Yeah, a bit like those accounts that were promised. What ever happened to that forensic audit?
I thought we where supposed to hear the Ben T proposal yesterday. Must be lost in the post.
The bank robber was nowhere to be seen at the Momentus event yesterday. He must have cried off at the last moment as he was expected to attend. On the 19th May he wrote on his blog "Just read the Sefton Resources update. What an absolute fantastic 6 months Clem Chambers and Mike Hodges have had. The SER reconstruction has now begun in earnest. It’s taken some time but believe me it is well and truly on track." "BELIEVE ME" says DL "The SER reconstruction has now begun in earnest." and "is well and truly on track." So why all the doom & gloom posts? DL & Ben T combining forces could work wonders. My concern is that if D "Believe me" Levi thinks that SER reconstruction is "well and truly on track" why did he and his odd ball mate sell their entire SER holding for peanuts and a very substantial loss. I would like an answer to this question. No doubt his "shadow" JAS123456 will provide an answer on his behalf.
Buller I doubt Ben T is wanting to take over to get the remaining cash of £200-£300k. Reason I believe this is Chris oil bought shares for nearly that amount from what I can remember and also bought BMD's shares, y would Ben T buy CHris's shares I'd assume for what Chris originally paid (£200-300k) to then get his hands on a similar amount? Hope that makes sense on what I wrote?
This is beyond the joke, here are a few questions: Since the company is no longer listed they don't have to follow the rules of the exchange so there are no rules as to calling an EGM that I know of anyway? How are they going to register votes, most shares are held by brokers who don't value these shares anymore, so have no idea how they are going to calculate the shares cast? Why would anyone want to run a company with no production or outlook of production, no assets or outlook of assetts. no income or outlook of income and no staff or anything else that normally would constitute a company! As the old sketch says , this parrott (read: company) is dead!! it is totally beyond ridiculous that there is now a battle as to who wishes to bury the corpse. The only reason I can think of is that if there is a 100.000 left in cash who ever sits as directors at the very end can assign that cash to themselves as directors fees. If anyone wants my votes if there is a vote they have to show me something that makes me believe that there is a plan to make money for shareholders , not just the directors as it has always been for this company. I don't believe it is possible, happy to see me proven wrong but honestly don't hope any hopes whatsoever. This parrot is dead!
Looking forward to Bullers view on this. For me it's another nail in the coffin. Was hoping to get some money back but not so sure now. Should make a film on this company.
Interesting turn of events here! Oil sold out to Ben and left Clem Chamber in trouble. So basically what has happened is that CO has fallen out with the board (as well as BMD for that matter) as they the board were running the company and would take orders from CO so without making himself look like a right idiot and replacing the board again he sold to Ben to let him sort them out affectively giving CO the last laugh. The realising loses excuse to sell is poor for someone who is meant to know a lot about these sort of things is not very clever if he has sold out on wanting to realise his loses. All he would have had to do is make a Negligible value claims which would of given him the same result and he would of kept the shares. The only problem with that is once the price of share gains value you have to pay capital gains on all the increase and not from share price you bought at. So it’s all about ego and the board falling out with CO in my opinion
DL says "NO ONE OTHER THAN THE 3 REQUISTIONERS NEW OF THE TIMING OF THE COMPANY BEING MADE AWARE OF IT’S LODGEMENT." "NEW" LOL Needs to attend english spelling class.
I say bring back the armed bank robber who spent 16 years in the nick. After all he knows everything about SER as he was Chairman for a time before his murky & seedy past was exposed in the Times. Maybe ask him about his plans as he is expected to be at Momentus Event on Thursday.
Bank robber and a drug dealer, who don't get on, should be fun.
The-story-continues-lol Ben is calling an EGM first job-look at the so called independent audit that the BOD carried out (ha Ha Ha)and also see the figures and where the money has truly been spent. Isn't-this-what-Clem-and-Hodges-have-been-doing-since-they-got-in. Sounds-like-they-just-want-to-come-in-and-take-whatever-cash-is-left.
Yeah hes got my vote, glad to see a positive move after a long period of inactivity. Go Ben!
how much Tw1t Oil got back need a good laugh !!
So Ben is calling an EGM to out the BOD - which should prove to be entertaining to say the least - first job when he is in will be to have a look at the so called independent audit that the BOD carried out (ha Ha Ha)and also see the figures and where the money has truly been spent.
I'm voting for Ben as current board haven't progressed like the way they indicated. Problem I have is BMD was one activist and now we got another one! Anyway I'm voting for Ben. Viva Ben
LSE do not like the "Sh are pro phets" it seems
"Sefton Resources gets an EGM Requisition after Chris Oil sells shares to Ben Turney " "We gather that Turney paid peanuts for Oil's entire 13%holding but the sale has allowed Oil to crystalise losses of c£450,000 which now provide him tax shelter against profits made elsewhere" - See more at: hTTp://www.*************.com/views/24205/*************-exclusive-sefton-resources-gets-an-egm-requisition-after-chris-oil-sells-shares-to-ben-turney#sthash.ZUmEgdnR.dpuf ================================================================================= Profits? what profits? Maybe he was desperate to raise any cash to pay others off.
Sefton Resources - EGM called to replace the board "This announcement is for shareholders of Sefton Resources ("the Company"), which was formerly listed on the Alternative Investment Market ("AIM"). On Sunday 02 October Matthew Benjamin Turney ("Ben"), submitted a requisition for an Extraordinary General Meeting of the Company seeking the removal of Clement Chambers and Michael Hodges as directors, to be replaced by Ben Turney and Stuart Langelaan. Turney and Langelaan are shareholder activists who are currently leading the revival of Teathers Financial Plc. Turney and Langelaan are acting in a private capacity in this initiative. Turney holds 585,100,000 shares in Sefton, which equates to 12.2% of the Company." As Levi has stated previously that he has the best interests of SER shareholders at heart, do not be surprised if he returns to assist with the rescue of SER. What does anybody else think about BMD returning?
If the two companies join together as a shell, were do we stand as SER shareholders?
Ben Turney allegedly has bought Cris oils shares
