Back to 30p Gary D - but where next - 33p end of day I say....
27.76 live price.
Oh no, now JD will change his mind about an offer because of this drop this morning.
To the tune of mustang Sally "Dimwit Gary!"
Spoke too soon Dugg ;))
Market not impressed 🤡🤡
28.95p
No 'Firesale' this morning - holders holding firm
If you look on london stock exchange, they are not open for rns's tomorrow nor trading of course.
Sorry should have added that going for Thursday would not give the maximum period as would be one day short
That’s true. It does but perhaps it has something to do with having to stipulate a given time period. Eg 30 days (can’t recall what the RNS said exactly) and giving Tuesday as a date would go beyond that period so they have to say 29 th in order to give maximum period but knowing in reality that means Tuesday. I’m just assuming though as I don’t know for sure.
If ever there was a company desperately in need of clarity and not ambiguity! Nice job, yet again JD
Think that's the whole point Duggs, myself
Yes, reads like that to me too.
But they would have known about Easter, so why choose a deadline date of Good Friday - it just causes ambiguity for investors.
Duggs, that reads to me like he has until Tuesday to compensate for the BH on Friday which is time he would otherwise have had. I may be wrong but that’s my reading of it.
If you’re so confident on that, why not short?
No shorter. No interest in this bucket of smouldering monkey 💩, but it’s shown me how desperation in needing something to work out drives people to believe it must / will work out. A sad bunch, but a sad bunch full of hope. And that’s about to be extinguished today as well
More like every morning, the robot account are activated and churn out the usual gibberish and the sane among us ignore / filter them. Looks like they're arguing with each other this morning.
I hope it goes up Fordy… who knows …. I might double instead of 40% today … instead of losing 50% on Tuesday 👍🤞
Fordy as quick as this has moved up this week can drop very fast too. Market will lose patience here with JD.
Not a great advert for Superdry . Very poor communication
The deadline is 5pm on the 29th of March so for me that means:
1. 5pm today as tomorrow is a bank Holiday (likely)
2. 5pm tomorrow as per announced deadline (unlikely)
3. 5pm Tuesday (next business day due to Bank Holiday) (possible)
Anyone in the know, please clarify. Attached closest thing I could find on reporting:

Every morning this week the shorters have been out early spouting b011ox and every day the SP has gone up and they've got burnt! Hope that's a good sign for today!
You’re wrong Gary !
Patently WRONG…
The board lost patience with JD throwing his weight around and churning through CFOs who challenged him… they issued a put up or shut up ultimatum and since then he has …… SHUT UP.
I’m selling this morning 📉
“How do you know he has done nothing” is that a serious question? You are about to enter the Easter period and there is more chance of the 2nd coming of Christ than JD buying the company, but you think wheels are spinning in the background? Get a grip, it’s over. Away and buy a Lindt egg to enjoy over the long weekend of reflection. Maybe you could offer to buy it all for a £1 as well? Forego the egg and buy Superdry? Or go 50p each with Toffers?
This is a truly terrible and highly unprofessional advert for Superdry Plc - and about as shambolic as the company itself has been, over the last six years. Indeed, those heady £19 / £20 days of 2018, seem a very very long time ago now.
How do you know he has done nothing?
Well it's 2 weeks past Cheltenham Festival when some predicted Golf Cup day would have JD celebrating his takeover and all his fan club cheering him on, almost 4 weeks since 1st extension.
Private investors kept in the dark and still no speculation in the press
Getting worse here on a daily basis . JD was granted the extension on Put Up or Shut Up instruction.
So far he has done nothing .........
