Well this is looking better and am glad I didn’t panics sell. I nearly did. Unfortunately like you Medjed I wasn’t brave enough to buy more. I just didn’t want to risk losing more money. My average is currently 44p having got it way down from £1+ where I was about 2 months ago.
I’ve been looking at the examples of the posted below. I think, if I’ve done my maths correctly, I’ve worked my new average to be 0.05p if I were to buy the max of 8 shares.
Well I will be holding as at 89% down it makes very little difference. I will be voting against all of the proposals. I invested in this over a year ago and whilst I fully accept SP can go down and there’s a risk of losing money I don’t agree with being shafted on the cheap by a company BoD.
Yo Sheltie, I took note and have them in my watch list so don’t worry your suggestion didn’t go unnoticed.
I got trapped in SDY when I bought a year ago and didn’t get out as it tumbled. That was my mistake unfortunately caused by my inexperience. I‘ve averaged down a bit now and I might get a chance to get out with a smaller loss than I would have had if I stuck with the price I bought at a year ago. Yes, I know I might lose more if I end up with nothing but it’s a risk I’m willing to take.
I’m always smiling, it’s my middle name. 😉
Munichmann, that was a great post. The problem is the old PIs will not move on even if they have sold out so will just continue to post negative news here. I have no idea why but I don’t believe they are here just to save me from the fate of my own decisions. Sorry but they don’t know me from Adam. Why would they do that?”
Hi Munichmann, I’m pleased with my averaging down today. I know it’s cost me more money but the low price has worked in my favour. Of course I might lose it all but I know the risk. If it rises tomorrow will sell some and bank. If it stays as is or goes down again, I may decide to risk another purchase. It also depends on any news that filters out. Just taking each day as it comes until I am happy I have my investment in the right place.
I hear what others on here are saying Gary et al but I want to make my own decisions.
