Actually I’m female so enough of your weird comments - thanks,
Thats complete nonsense!!
Mornington their main market over the last 5-7 years has always been 24-60 somethings. I see huge amounts of people wearing. Superdry polos, t-shirts, jackets, jumpers with the small discreet badges.
You must remember they are in 70 countries and what you see in your city is not representative of the world :-))
Like I say each to there own, but I do see young and older wearing it so what’s wrong with a large spread? Why do we have to target one over the other? If it appeals to whoever then buy it. It’s about style and quality for me that’s why I buy it. Superdry is the ONLY shop I can walk into and like pretty much everything I see on offer, I can honestly say that. My cupboards are full of the stuff, what I want to know is when will there be a shareholders perks discount?? For this company to have this market cap it’s a no brainer for me, I’m more than happy to be invested here. If you aren’t then that’s fine, I do have to question why you are here then and the usual reason is you’re shorting the stock so need to try and paint a bad picture. I’m afraid you’re not going to influence my opinion As my observations are different to yours..... roll on an update here!
lol, he might be going to bank branches in citi and trying to find ppl wearing superdry. But honestly I see many wearing superdry, and one of reason I added more shares at this low price.
Teens won’t be seen wearing what their parents are wearing and that’s a fact.
I would say the target market is anyone that has an eye for quality. All my family wear superdry, you only have to walk down the road to see people wearing superdry. The market is wide and varied and it appeals to a wide variety of groups. Why do we have to target a specific when we can target all... I would agree though that the young are fickle and if they want to shop elsewhere that’s fine it’d be boring if we were all the same. As long as we can sell I don’t care who it’s to...
Doesn’t matter how many I know, I live in a city and can tell you I don’t ever see anyone wearing superdry. Next time you’re out take a look around and tell me how many people you see wearing superdry.
Sdry has always been, IMO, very good quality. It’s a good thing to be, but it won’t sell clothes on that aspect alone. I used to wear sdry, no longer. My son has balked at the idea for years now. This is the problem. Like FCUK, or GAP, a lot of people just don’t want this moniker splashed across their clothes.
Can anyone truthfully say that they can see how the brand has developed over the last 3 years from a product perspective? It was stagnant under Sutherland, even despite JD still being present for the most part, but I hoped that JD would reinvigorate, reinvent, recruit. Sadly, I just don’t see it. Yet.
*their
They wouldn’t wear there clothes if they were free. The teen market is fickle. I genuinely don’t know a single young person who wears superdry now. So enlighten me as to their target market?
They buy mainly from independent shops. Neither have bought from Boohoo.
Cheap rubbish like boohoo that doesn’t last one wash
I don’t know anybody that would be seen in the superdry brand. Maybe 10 years ago, yes.
I’ve 2 teens and they’d never buy from there. Who is their target market?
Built for class...lol. Funniest comment I’ve read in a long time.
Built for mass or 'class'? Not sure I see the relevance. If its not selling, it doesn't matter who your target customer is. JD and Holder were always about it being 'cool'. It's certainly not that anymore. Compounding the issue is the number of stores that were opened in Sutherland's clamour for revenue, in awful locations. Buttermarket in Ipswich does not say 'class', to me.
Hopefully the delayed results will announce amazing news. It could happen, and I'd be perfectly happy, but I can't honestly see it.
I agree and must be someone is either filling up or Marked down for shorts.
On another front i believe Brand was never popular for Masses like Primark or any other. It was built for class. Have faith it will bear it’s fruit.
I am very very positive.
£1.97 a few weeks ago this was clearly being worked down.
I can see a massive rerate over the coming weeks
