its on the pdf link i posted earlier .... this potential share issue resolution is standard practice ... considering we are still in a development phase, if it was not there .. that would raise eyebrows and give an indication that something is coming
if you read the resolutions proposed C7 nothing jumps out of the page, so IMHO nothing in the AGM apart from standard process stuff ... but that is not to say an RNS disclosure before the AGM could change the dynamics or Lindy does one of her "this is what we have discovered" presentations based on RNS already delivered ... ie Homocitruline etc and She is advancing on that ...
Inanaco, is one of the resolutions Scancell can issue 10% more of share capital if needed.
Do you have a link to the resolutions?
Well I am sure TF would reply.................well if there is it might be passed!!! Lol
Who knows, that is what I posted to DA earlier, we have been speculating for so long now, but I do think having the AGM 3/4 weeks earlier prompts a question.....why?? And I don"t agree with Inanacos earlier post saying they are busy and it gets it out of the way. No, there is a reason, and if I was in charge of PR as I was for 20 years in business I would strongly suggest that even for investor relations, down to CHs latest blip, we had good news to take home with us. Yes it could be anything, but presuming yesterdays RNS is the reason, we could well look forward to a run of good news, it could well be stacking up. Catch yer tomorrow.
resolutions are already listed ...
There might be a particular resolution they want to get voted through by then...
TF - what on earth is there to scrap over on that opinion of C7's?!
Sorry Ruck - IMHO IF BoD DO have good news, I think they would tell us and indeed be bound to tell us now, maybe tomorrow LOL.
C7 I don't want to scrap BUT the dosing of the first Patient will happen when it happens - that's a medical process I suspect. Hopefully that'll be before the AGM.
More importantly maybe, are there signs of some 'decision making' going on ?
I jolly well hope so !
Agreed Ruck, reckon it will coincide with first patient dosed too. Good for investor confidence
Re the early date:
They possibly have some good news they want to get out as soon as they can but want it to coincide with the AGM so as to deflect some of the expected criticism.
C7 /Ratcliffewriter
Unfortunately I will be on holiday for the next AGM so won't be able to attend, but I am sure that Ratcliffewriter, C7 & et al will ensure that any biscuits, full English or other food items do not go to waste. I am confident that the Board has learnt that their lunch/dinner will be kept sunder lock and key this year. If you see champagne amongst the buffet selection for the PIs things are looking good. ATB
As it goes there is a very good all you can eat Chinese buffet opposite the main stand, behind where a stand should be in the bowling alley. Very good food, good place to meet.
Well I"ve ordered the full buffet!!
C7 - See if you can find what refreshments they are providing then. If they run as late as they have been doing we'll end up with a Full English breakfast at 2.30p.m. Or more likely a football themed dessert - or 'sweet f.a.' as we call it.
Yep, I used to look forward to finding out the date, never mind, and as you say we can be early too!!
One of the reasons for having the AGM conspicuously early is no doubt to get approval for a multi-billon pound sell-off of the SCIB platform to Roche, but mainly it is to pre-empt C7's annual challenge when he finds the date of the AGM ahead of the RNS by use of high quality blagwork. Next year you'll have to start hunting in May C7!
Anyway, nice they've got something sorted ahead of schedule....
Can think of a few Deadly, but that is all speculation. CH has done my head in with that, lol!!!
MMs will take 50k at 6.7
50k-210k+ 6.675
Still got the feeling for a decent sized sell and buy.
Any ideas/conspiracies as to why it's so much earlier than normal? Normally they try and stretch it to as as late as they can don't they?
Lol, I tend to agree with you Ruck, it is a month earlier than usual, and a good chance to hear from Diggle and maybe a few explanations from CH too. Might just be very well timed for dosing first patient as well. Looking forward to it, and my question, lol!!!!
What !! First day of the Oval test !!
Exactly ... you will have Ruck demanding that cost of sales be included in any future royalties licensing deals so that his posts then tie up with a deal done ...
If agree, get it done ASAP.
CH will be there having faced Archer in 3 test matches so they may have to wheel him in or he may have to dial in from his hospital bed.
"get it out of the way " ?????
This is a very important meeting for investors not to mention a legal requirement for any limited company.
I'm sure a number will be voting against some of the resolutions and a number will want to quiz the board on a number of misdemeanors.
get it out of the way ? Do me a favour!
get it out of the way ......... they are going to be very busy managing trials and preparing trials for Modi1
Crikey, just 23 days!!!........................Who"s going, lol??
