And, probably a couple of billion to get get it to market, Ahfam.
There is no chance in hell the majors would let Sierra deal up tyk2 in this climate it's a trillion dolar market.
They'd need a billion dollars to do Mom, 737 and TYK2. They've really struggled to get $450 million and we still aren't sure if some of that is for 737. We need a pharma with big pockets to take our TYK2's
It was not my intention to set any hares running here. My view is that Sierra will take forward SRA 737 either alone or in partnership. But there are other options to consider, none of which are beyond the realms of possibility.
Potnak - agree entirely, having been well and truly shafted by Sierra once, it would be negligent to entertain any thought of further dealings.
Basser. I hope you aren't suggesting that Sierra take on 1801? That would be a terrible idea!
? Why would you look for a sell on and a new molecule to take through trials when you have one that looks very promising in SRA737 .. all be it that advancement comes with large milestones ... does not make sense to me ... especially as 9/10 probably fail by phaseII
Yes there are several potential scenarios for SRA 737. I have no idea how much a sell on would bring in but let’s just say 200 Million as an example. That would give Sierra. 470 Million - perhaps enough to buy a new immunotherapy molecule and take it into clinical trials - after all Sierra has plenty of experience in running trials. My view is that they are more likely to continue the SRA 737 trials given that they have taken it through Stages1/2 and they may be able to fast track Anogenital through stage 3. There may be some money left to look at a Combo with Parp given the scientific evidence over the last two years. But until an announcement it’s all pure conjecture.
Thanks Thoth, definitely very exciting times ahead!!
When do you think we might get the milestone payment?
Krone. Srra fundraiee should be done in a week. 737 isnt done. They have formally handed back 141. But not us. I suspect NG went too hardball and lost his job. Im wxpecting trial continuation and a milestone
As per usual re Sierra and SRA 737 more questions than answers , but what we do know is he latest published data from the combo trials that we have access to showed absolutely outstanding positive results which alone without all the other irons we have in the fire should be good enough to be a game changer for Sareum.
Surely some news will break on this for us soon.
Krone - 150 Mill dollars raise is a lot when Sierra already have 120 million dollars in bank. It can’t all be for Momelotinib so does it Indicate that Sierra will take forward SRA 737 alone or in partnership?
Or Perhaps has Sierra got its eye on purchasing something else?
Thoth - do we have timescales for the conclusion of the Sierra fundraise?
Given that Sierra have unequivocally ditched SRA737 would they then want to muddy the momly situation by raising the profile of 737 again? If not Sierra who do we expect will publish the trial data?
8 month overrun in the combination trial anogenital fast track registration intent trial looking highly likely now
The trials are still.ongoing. they wete due to have finished. They are likely still ongoing as clinical benefit is being seen and patients taking the drug longer than planned. I expect srra fundraise to complete. Then srra announce the "surprise" trial results in a month. And we are off
Been a bit out of the loop recently, so we know for sure if all the SRA737 trials have finished? It’s causing some frustration here due to the lack or delay in news, especially if you’re expecting a wee RNS from wee Tim every minute of every day
But, if there’s no news because the trials are ongoing, surely that’s a very positive sign?
Just a thought, but like I said I haven’t caught up on the posts from the LTH’s to see if the Sierra trials have finished yet
