£450k funding raise request, for director's continued remuneration, lunch and other benefits.
Interestingly: "On 11 March 2024, 44% of the Company's share capital was traded in an off-market transaction at a price of 0.3036 pence, which is the Subscription Price."
The result.
Must message more often if this is the result
Leaky ship?
Its December. Still intrigued ?
As expected
Not Outstanding
We wait for further Intrigue
Outstanding
So we will know if the directors have any great plans for RUR …
On performance so far I’m not hopeful.
I’m amazed the SP is still 0.50p
No reverse will be suspension .
One hopes the BOD can sell the final assets & restart afresh ,
Outstanding
So RURELEC will soon pay out 0.2p per share dividend.
It is now a cash shell with approx £1m in the bank. Enough to pay the bills for a year at least. But what then ?
The turbines have been in storage for 15 years and (as far as I know ) last inspected pre-covid. Argentina didn’t want them and RUR would need a partner with very deep pockets to initiate a project anywhere in the world. £1m isn’t going to cut it.
What happens if there’s no reverse takeover ?
Any suggestions ?
Shareholders deserve better .
Come on BOD sell them assets .
Outstanding
The fact that one can dispose of these shares for 0.5p in the present situation is nigh on a miracle. Holders should thank their luck stars.
Rurelec will continue to explore its options for the 701 DU 125MW Turbines, including a potential sale. One option under consideration is whether it is possible to ring fence the value of the turbines for shareholders whilst at the same time making the Company attractive for new business opportunities through which it can create shareholder value. Further updates on this proposal will be provided in due course if it progresses. The Directors will also be reviewing potential acquisition opportunities as they arise.

Not even an RNS on your first dividend in 15 years , very disappointing BOD .
NOT outstanding
The sp really needs to rise today, which doesn't look as though it is, as the dividend payout will reduce its ex-dividend value. Obviously, it depends on your entry point. Don't panic sell afterward as it can sometimes recover within a short period.
From the 12th June RNS:
"A special dividend of 0.20p per ordinary share will be paid on 14 July 2023 to shareholders on the register as at 23 June 2023. The associated ex-dividend date will be 22 June 2023".
These are already red hot & tasty
About time too .
Outstanding
Not a hot RNS , more lukewarm ,as per usual with the BOD .
Some fresh sauce would be Outstanding .
It has been confirmed today
I have taken a small position before the 23rd June cut off date, interesting developments too on other assets mentioned in today's RNS
Not a comment on todays RNS. Tough to buy, tougher to sell. Deal should be done by the end of next week. 0.2 confirmed and the company will then have assets worth roughly 4 times current mkt price with the remaining cash added in. Bought myself between 40 and 50 myself and the movement today on 11 trades is bonkers on an RNS day. I reckon buyers could get 1.5p a share minimum esp if a deal is done as a shell. Watch out for any bargain prices to buy next week.
Great RNS
Ongoing Business
Following Completion, it will be the strategy of the Company to maximise the value of the Company's other investments, whilst exploring potential investment opportunities, with a view to enhancing shareholder value.
Thus Chile & Turbines ,estimated £12 million are still on the books .
With £4 million cash in hand , the ball is now firmly in the directors hands .
One hopes a few more aces are with us soon
Outstanding
It has been a long long long road & not as profitable as anticipated .
One hopes Chile & Turbines add up to good newsflow ahead .
Outstanding
Whopping 35% dividend yield
10k gets you £3500 profit
they've already got over 50% yes vote this will easily get over the line
then RTO few weeks after completion with fresh start
when this reaches headlines this will rocket over 100% mark my words
GLA
Sounding very promising to me
I can't really see it. The dividend is 0.20p, the share price is 0.55p/0.60p and after the disposal RUR becomes a cash shell with a bit of cash left to pay the wages. Oh, and highlighted at the end of the RNS, it says that if the shareholders don't vote in favour of the disposal then the company will go bust and shareholders will lose everything.
Sounding very promising to me
dividend payment could be in a few weeks
RUR set to rocket once the dividend date is published?
A general meeting (the "General Meeting") of the Company is expected to be held at 5 St. John's Lane, London, England, EC1M 4BH at 10.00 am on 1 June 2023

Following Completion, it will be the strategy of the Company to maximise the value of the Company's other investments, whilst exploring potential investment opportunities, with a view to enhancing shareholder value.
Exciting week ahead
