LoL Helpful. The Chief Poster gave a different slant but good you clarified. But knowing you won kinda of thing made me more conscious that your reply to me: News, you have to get your though processes in line re: DRC. If I had not known about your skill set, I would not be able to ask the 2nd question of which you kindly provided me the answer I needed about RRR DRC litigation. In the answer, I ascertained what I have always thought: THE AWARD that RRR is due to obtain is the opening gambit to a PRIMA FACIE CASE PER SE. I hope that RRR can continue till that day. A.Bell , Chairman of RRR must secure his legacy, both as a qualified counsel and his track record. Will slowly, slowly be the solution as in the case of Kenya Migori licence work? I dont know as one is dealing with tough opposition who have the big $$$. Even then, AVZ is now on to a potential win, having secured the interim win against the state miner in the DRC. I note AVZ hired French counsel. A.Bell is also skilled but in a different way and most on here cant understand his lingo and say so on Twitter. Of course, A.Bell qualified in law.
News,

As to winning a debating prize, I have never entered a debating competition. I was once asked to step into a debate with Austin Mitchell MP at short notice. The person who was due to do it dropped out with a couple hours to go. First I had heard about it. The motion was, "this house... The House of Lords is an affront to democracy". Anyway, I upset Austin, he said, "I didn't realise I had been invited to a lecture in linguistic philosophy". Anyway, bit of fun: the 600 attendees voted with him, as expected. What he didn't know was that I, like him, was a member and supporter of the Free Trade League and the leaders who were close friends with him were also friends with me. They gave me a Cobden Medal for services to Free Trade. A long time ago. Overall he was okay just a bit precious that night.

Thanks Maidit308. Yes, I think Nike1980 has shown expertise in areas he is knowledgeable. I will answer AIM Dog's comment. But first, I will come back to the Accountant who contacted HELPFUL to ask for his help. EVERYONE CAN SEE THAT RRR HAS BREAK-UP POTENTIAL. BUT THAT POTENTIAL IS NOT VERY CLEAR ie no one on this forum has the M & A KEYS for breakup. They dont have enough INFO ie not just research but what is HAPPENING on the ground in Africa. I said restructuring which is a more subtle word than BREAKUP ie M & A.
Coming back to the DRC-AIM Dogs only thinks it is a goner kinda of thing. That is why I asked Helpful two questions and Helpful was very skilled at the answer. Since Boring Boy said Helpful won a debating society prize sort of thing at Uni, I was well aware that the 1st answer was not enough. So, I asked the 2nd question and I got the answer I wanted to be able to ASSESS the DRC situation and the chance of success. AIM Dog now quotes the 1st part of what Helpful answered but AIM Dogs has NOT twigged to the more complex question of the potential $430m international arbitration to follow.
I wont go into a long discourse as it will take too much space and time. BUT MY VIEW, IS THAT BIG MONEY AND BIG PLAYERS ARE INVOLVED inc the major. SO, TYPICAL LITIGATION PLAY IS AT WORK, be it a probate litigation fight or otherwise, same legal tactics.
So, IF that is not forthcoming in the next x or y days, weeks, then PLAN B has to come to play and A.Bell, Chairman has stated this in his last RNS @1/2 year accounts of RRR. M & A will have to take place and Chairman Bell is well aware of this. He may have to get in specialist help so Bilbale is a good stop gap to get cash flow going IF possible.
So, in meaningful discussion from ALL shareholders , we, holders have come to a better understanding. Each one will have to RATE their own views. A former President 's book on "The Art of the Deal" pointed out: NOT KNOWING JUST 1 VARIABLE COULD CHANGE THINGS. Like how? KILMORE @RRR Australia for example. Yes, the pre-IPO $500,000 cant do any meaningful drilling at Kilmore. But, TRENCHING IS CHEAP. Like how MAKO's CEO showed taht TRENCHES are like in the Var. An excavator can dig up a trend in 2 sec or a few days. TRENCHING WILL GIVE AWAY THE MINERALISATION ie what is the real situation of the mineralisation and what grade. IF KILMORE TURNS OUT, THEN THE PRIZE IS GREAT and one can see that at Sunday Creek, the next door. It is in the RIGHT PLACE, RIGHT HOT LOCATION AND LOTS OF EAGER INSTITUTIONS wanting in or are already in. But, But...well.
DRC is a much more complex legal play and where big money is involved, it is par for the course. Thats to all.
Sorry, that I cant eat out of the hands of the Boring Boy as he wants everyone to listen to him. No one listens to historical or calling out. THAT IS NOT THE SOLUTION GOING FORWARD. Yes, accountants can see breakup value.
But how real is it at this time? Ah, more digging to do ie mor
NEWS'' I hope you will join me in welcoming NIKE'' on board, and wish him all the best in this endeavour as we will need all the help we can get'' been outnumbered and all ?
welcome aboard NIKE'' you seems to be a sensible person with knowledge of your own, and only interesting in what RRR can do from these levels in the days and weeks ahead, and not what it has failed on years back when and lets face it, 90 %
of exploration CO failed miserably in Greenland reason been it's too FKN COLD... AB is not alone...
ATB..
There have been some good times in the past with RRR. What the future holds I don't know. I respect the work Johnson and Bell did helping Grreatland Gold restructure, think they went from zero and bits to approximately 2.5p, then after moving on Greatland made world class discovery and went as had been said to near 40p at its biggest peak up till now.
I once read in Simply Wall Street that many years ago Bell was a specialist fund manager with Morgan Grenfell and if I interpreted correctly, was the most successful one in his sector for several years. So whatever people's frustrations or motivations, I think he still deserves some respect. I respect him quite a lot.
No beef with anyone else though, in fact I just had a nice sweet and sour chicken and chips / Chinese takeaway.
Thanks and have a good weekend...
It appears relentless and I think no one is listening at all to life's principles of success.
Maybe, from the school of an eye etc.
Dont know.
I am now thinking of selling my RRR shares after having read the relentless posts on this forum today. It has been going on for years now. Maybe, I think there is not so good will to shareholders and perhaps it is best to leave it to the disgruntled, they call themselves and in their own words?
To me, never good in life to be so negative towards the co etc. I will think it over the weekend. Fri, 19.4.24 @10.20pm.
I dont know about the Carp days but it must have been somewhat the same situation as today? I dont know ?
