Celtic, I know you think I have got it in for you but I genuinely dont. I regards to ridiculing the charting you post, I just dont see any of the opinions gleened from your apparent charting as actually fact. Yes we have tested higher levels and your interpretation of the chart predicted that. However, Range is a news driven share. Had the news reported today been that we were liable for $53m then do you think that we would have been testing the higher levels that we have today. I dont want to pick on you, but I think that charts (not just yours) on Range have shown little use over the long term other than that the trend has previously been pretty starkly a downwards one and based on charts every holder should have jumped ship long ago. That said, it is certainly positive news, the price to sell has gone up and that is currently the only price I need to care about any more as I am looking in due course for the exit when I believe the time to be right. Hopefully the positive trend continues and the LTHs who have suffered for so long can reap the rewards for holding and topping up at the all time lows. As an aside, and I have made my view on WTI known before, it is nice to see the charge being made an it sitting at over $65. Who knows where we will be at Christmas, maybe 1p? KRO
Great post Rainbow , I ticked that up Windy/Agnetha now having to admit that he reads the boards prior to joining, but then doesn't somehow know who Athena is. Great fun seeing the mult id rampers tie themselves in knots before Admin deletes them.
Good to see some good news for you guys and the increasing desperation of Surely Oma. Long may it continue
Agnetha , you've got a great grasp on the history of this board for someone who only joined in April.
Dear rainbow, can you qualify your "most". Most on this board or shareholders in Range or all the shareholders in the world? As far as the Quarterlies, did you mean you "think" they are not going to be pretty or do you have inside information as to their exact content? Regards
Hints of desperation Oma is a worried man
ASK now 0.3 according to HL
Cheers torchy, I appreciate the comment :)

None! ANH confirms that Range (and the Consortium) has no liability for any payments or debts;
Any idea what % of that $53M RRL had been liable for?
Closing the Colombian office, although not a huge operation, will also save us further expenditure there
Indeed good to see an agreement reached. Was limited as to how this could have been enforced anyway but nice to see another skeleton from Landaus days all but done away with. Let's guess the response... something like "yeah butthe courts have not signed it off so it isnt done until its done. How will Range afford $53m on top of the LO debt. Range is doomed get out now, you are all doomed..." KRO
Excellent News, one by one the positives are building it seems and this one is a big shadow lifted
ANH confirms that Range (and the Consortium) has no liability for any payments or debts; All proposed penalties have been lifted; The Consortium agrees to waive all potential claims against ANH; and The Consortium agrees to the termination of the 3 exploration licences (PUT-5, VMM-7 and VSM-1). we continue to make progress......
Good news no more law suite
COLOMBIA UPDATE Range, an international oil and gas company with assets in Trinidad and Indonesia, and an oilfield services business in Trinidad, is pleased to announce that it has reached an agreement with Agencia Nacional de Hidrocarburos ("ANH") to settle all outstanding claims and disputes between ANH and the consortium of Optima Oil Corporation and the Company (the "Consortium"). As previously announced (on 1 September 2016), ANH had served a demand notice to the Consortium seeking payment of approximately US$53 million and had alleged that its actions were a result of various exploration work commitments not being fulfilled and the presentation of invalid letters of credit. The Consortium subsequently filed a comprehensive response to the claim. Over the last 18 months, Range has been working with its legal advisers and the Consortium partners to reach an acceptable outcome and the key terms of the settlement arrangement are as follows: · ANH confirms that Range (and the Consortium) has no liability for any payments or debts; · All proposed penalties have been lifted; · The Consortium agrees to waive all potential claims against ANH; and · The Consortium agrees to the termination of the 3 exploration licences (PUT-5, VMM-7 and VSM-1). The agreement between the Consortium and ANH is subject to court approval in Colombia which is anticipated to be received within the next 3-6 months. Range acknowledges the constructive approach taken by all parties during negotiations and is pleased to have reached a mutually acceptable outcome with ANH. Range has no material assets in Colombia and is now commencing the process of closing its Colombian branch office which is anticipated to be completed during 2018.
Might be a bit premature buutt I do see a nice little wedge forming. Long way to go how many bags who knows not long till the end of the month. Gla
Lol RNS alerts all day.
Only 4 total trades more than the number of RNSs released - such an odd share! KRO
Most RNS’s released in one day
