Much as I like it I haven't the faintest idea what news!!?? brought about a 3.6% SP rise yrsterday
Been a lot of anti plastic stuff ratcheting up on the media these last couple of months, maybe having some impact in case there are political repercussions?
Sadly I think it has a bit more to fall, back into the 7's.
Worst share going at the moment!
day after day here. As someone has said more worrying given the company is buying its shares every day.... when that stops it will fall further. Never been a fan of share buy backs... false economy especially when the company has debt it could pay down.
Constant buy backs and constant free-fall! What's going on????

RPC RPC Group.......really surprised at that sell off yesterday after very solid results. Cash flow is O/Standing. Strong fundies, expecting a recovery today so had a few bobs worth. http://uk.advfn.com/p.php?pid=legacydaily&epic=L^RPC&type=4&size=2&period=4&ind_type1=1&ind1_1=&ind2_1=&olx_1=3&ma_type1=3&o_1maday1=25&o_2maday1=&o_colour1=1&olx_2=3&ma_type2=3&o_1maday2=50&o_2maday2=&o_colour2=2&olx_3=3&ma_type3=3&o_1maday3=200&o_2maday3=&o_colour3=3&scheme=&delay_indices=DELAYED_INDICES
10 by Christmas ?
Buys 2.9m, Sells 2.2m, if these stats on here are correct, eg allocated correctly, sp down over 5%. Looks like auto programmes at work where many small single volume sells, eg 10, 5, 8, etc...cause more dramatic sp drops than much larger single volume buys cause sp rises ? Looks like someone is buying in big and analyst ratings today/ tomorrow hopefully shd enhance the sp. I'm a significant Lt holder and find the day trading too risky as easy to get things wrong !
This is not the first time that this has happened with this stock. Goods new arrives and the price drops sharply! I'm just wondering if investors sell immediately when any good news comes along thinking the price will shoot up and therefore hope to catch the sell at a new increased price and therefore make an instant profit. If a lot of investors tactically think along the same lines, then the price crashes, probably all happening within seconds of the news being released. Hence a near 7% price drop this morning!
Hello, I have to agree that the price drop was overdone. I have taken a small position here (400) and if I can I will top-up if the price stays around this level. With the BOD buying and cancelling shares and having a good dividend all helps to. With my purchase price about 9 then this share is yielding 2.85% RKB
Cant believe or comprehend this at all. 2m shares traded this morning almost 50/50 split on buys to sells and a 12% range in SP. Lots of profit taking no doubt when 6.5% up in early trading. I topped up when it was 2.5% down but should have waited am hour.
Madness! What is it that the market is looking for which the results have failed to deliver? What is it that we have all missed but others can see? I just don't see how the results can be any more positive all round and thought the 10+ opening price was well justified.....shows what i know!
Remarkable. Fantastic set of results in all areas and SP goes fron 6.6% up to 2.00% down on an hour. Just topped up as too tempting not to
EXCELLENT SET OF RESULTS. JUST GOB SMACKED BY DROP IN SP.
very strong today - hope it augurs well for tomorrow.
Are there doubts re the interims ? Even the buybacks aren't halting this recent pull downwards ?
Looking promising for the lead up to the interim - the price level is reasonable so expect it to rise. Trading updates look good. Far east growth sounds good.
Looking a safe bet avoiding eating that plastic bottle-nicely closing in on a tenner!
I guess we'll find out today :-)
Looks like when SP drops to 900 and less RPC will start to purchase its own shares.
Looks like you triggered its recommencement 😃
