This company looks very interesting !! Pleased I’m a shareholder…. Gla
Don't worry about it newgrange.
That might be a bit long-winded for some. In a nutshell the completed deal values ROAD's remaining holding in CSS at £46M. And this is not the main business and is targeted for disposal.
A very nice day here today, waiting to see what the SP is like after 8:30 but so far it looks promising….
C could be double bubble Friday…. Lol
So the partial sale of CSS has already completed, with an improved sale price. This is good news as there was always a bit of a 'too good to be true' thing about it.
"Previously, CGV had agreed to purchase 952 shares in CSS at £6,302.53 per share, it has now agreed to purchase 1,000 shares at £7,500.00 per share, increasing the total consideration due to Roadside to £7.5 million. The Company is pleased to confirm that the £7.5 million consideration has been received by Roadside and is on account. The Transaction will complete on 3 May 2024 at which point the 1,000 CSS shares will be transferred to CGV. Post-completion of the Acquisition and the Transaction, Roadside's shareholding in CSS will reduce to 6,140 CSS shares, representing approximately 61.4% of CSS's enlarged issued share capital."
So ROAD now continues to hold 6140 shares at a sale price of £7,500 which I make a value of £46,050,000. Now one sale has gone through this has to now have some real value to ROAD. The current m/cap is less than £15M.
But if the company sells 1,000 shares for 7.5m and still retains over 6,000 shares how come the current market cap is just over £10m….. maybe I’m missing something here… happy if someone can explain the apparent mismatch…..thanks
Where is this little star heading?
All's forgiven folks. Great update re CSS and progress on the £100m RRE portfolio. Company working very hard to increase s/holder value AND no nasty surprises to boot.

ps tnx for putting up with my incessant whinging!!! lol

Keee - you know full well that the suspension was due to inability to file annual report in time. Many companies are doing that day and daily. Your post is deliberately provocative and you're not welcome here if you're going to wind genuine holders up like a bell end. As you don't hold any shares, with respect, you should f**k away off!!!!!
There was no reason to suspend the share in the first place or was there..... not good folks.
Sorry to say but not looking good here, how many times have we seen this before on AIM...
There is no excuse on what they are doing and says it all on what they think about the share holders....
After hours RNS maybe or pre open tomorrow morning? I hope to God they don't keep us hanging over the bank holiday weekend which would just taking the proverbial.
NG
Trek you sound like a real character. I just emailed Montfort to see if they'll give me some info as I sent a msg through Roadsides's investor portal and got no reply (surprise surprise).
Will post here if/when I hear anything.
NG
Lol!
Every day is a bank holiday when you are retired!
Well actually it’s the opposite we have rules to follow.
1. No unnecessary travel on BH’s to add to traffic congestion
2. No DIY shops on Sunday
3. No shopping on a Saturday you get in folks way browsing with a slow trolly
4. Basically stay out of the way on a Bank Holiday and if your loved one’s do take you out. Expect a crap meal, rip off prices and crp service as it’s sooo busy! but pay with a smile!
Trek
It'll have to be Tuesday Trek coz Monday is spring bank holiday.
Don’t matter that results are later. What matters is being told of another new date or why they can’t give one.
Take your pick coz rumours will start now…
Delisting
No one left knows how to use a calculator
Divestment of all assets
Takeover of company
CBA’d!
That’s why there are regulatory requirements.
I will contact nomad and MAR if nothing first thing Monday

Thanks for that Cawdor. It really isn't such a chore to keep investors updated either way, especially when the co indicated 30 April for publication of AR. Yes slippage does occur but a simple RNS by way of update is not much to ask. In fact it is what one would expect and is simply good corporate practice. If they don't say something this side of the B/H weekend then that's just not acceptable, unless of course they have big news coming which will send the sp soaring. I can only but dream! lol.
I've messaged Olly Scott at Montfort to see if he can provide any information. Given he did not reply the last time I contacted him I am not holding my breath.
I would have thought the role of a PR company would be to at least reply to queries. Hey ho what do I know,
Anyone have any thoughts re what and when the next development will be i.e holding RNS, actual results etc.??
Absolute rubbish. They are all in at 30p. Granted they took paper but alot of associates are heavily under water
@LOTM - the family hold c.70% of the share capital so I fail to see how they can rip pi's off without ripping themselves off! Quite the contrary actually.
I feel really sorry for those currently invested in this.
I would say to anyone looking at this share to avoid it at all costs.
The re-financing of this company that has just been done is totally outrageous, the independent directors of the company should resign immediately for agreeing to those terms. They are not is the slightest bit fair towards the minority shareholders in the company.
The family are robbing the company blind & it will be near impossible for anyone else remotely have a chance of getting a return on there money.
LOTM
Yes Cawdor/Pacman you speak the truth. I'm just a bit frustrated at the moment (in more ways than one)! I'm ok now.
GLA
Yes, Newgrange don’t think AIM investing is for you
