The hedge is for 3600t@ $7,700 per tonne, which is approximately 50% of this years production. As a result for my calculations this year I use (spot price + hedge price)/2 = price received. That assumes that the offtaker is only taking half what we deliver at hedge price. We could be delivering it all at hedge price, which means we revert to spot price in around July.
Does anyone know how long the leverage is for.
Presumably a higher rate will be negotiated at the end , assuming copper continues to increase.
I have learned from this impressive BB that we are getting a producing mine for the price of an exploration mine, roll on the sorter and the cheap mill from across 460 km, COVID is now an epidemic, not a pandemic [see ORPH]
With a good CEO in place , 2021/2 should see us as a respectable FOOTSIE coy.
Not happening again, China grew 18% in first quarter !
ok i wiill shut up now :-)
and 2 years later they can start with it after its all done
i think you are right green agenda needs copper, but shuting down all economies can do right damage
Whatever their hidden agenda (green agenda) is it would appear they can’t do without copper
what is your opinion guys, are they going to finish the job i mean by that ruin all economies by lockdowns again?
If it's what the world Economic Forum lot have got planned, then there will be another series of Lockdowns come what may
i agree, thats the only thing which worry me, if there would be another world lockdown copper would fall big style again.
It's all new to me this share buying but I have noticed the steady to strong climb then a drop in the share price any sence in the edge funds cashing in on gains buy sell an buys etc most holder have to ride this out and this share had a yes hi of 1.8 without all this copper on the up and new equipment and board so 1p to 2p in next 12mth should be achievable .
Good morning EG. All of my portfolio was red yesterday except RMM. I Didn’t really understand what the negative triggers were though.
0.6p That will certainly be nice to see. It is quite exciting times.
Bertie . Yesterday the markets were poor anyway so the pullback likely due to that. To finish 6% up was great. Copper still high at $4.27/lb. looking to break 0.6p today for good
Good morning people.
There have been many predictions for where the sp is heading. For me I am going with the many posters more conservative prediction of 1p by Christmas, anything else is a bonus.
Although 6% was great yesterday I can’t help feeling somewhat disappointed when the sp pulls back 10+% as quick as it goes up. It can cause a bit of a panic. For the record, I do understand shares go up and down.
In perspective, there are about 179 working days until Christmas. From the current sp of .53 the daily average increase to reach 1p is a mere 0.36% which makes yesterday’s 6% massive.
So peak and trough as much as it wants today, but close on .532 and we are still on track for 1p or a 90% profit by Christmas.
I have a sizeable position here and will holding strong and holding long.
ATB have a great day.
