When RMG is re nationalised Labour will give CWU members what they paid for any shares they have bought. Everyone will get free broadband. 4 extra bank holidays. A 4 day working week on the same or more pay. Free prescriptions. Not increase state pension age any further. But to name a few.
200iq where have you read that, are they only going to give CWU members what they paid? Not all shareholders that would be another nice legal battle.
Nothing to worry about Labour are going to plant 200 money trees per minute. If they had said free electric Aston Martins I might have been swayed.
200IQ who gave you an iq if 200????? think you got one of those dodgy degrees mr blair invented for universities in the 90's
200iq you quote"When RMG is re nationalised Labour will give CWU members what they paid for any shares they have bought." and who will do the calculations? Dianne abbott...hey I might vote labour mate.... probably got 5-6 millions worth
JB, Wolvesy, it's all in a CWU letter I got today to CWU members.
" The value of your shares will be guaranteed and no CWU member will lose our financially. "
Better rejoin Wolvesy.
200iq that's brilliant news we are almost in a no lose situation. Can I just check is that Labour guaranteeing we won't lose out or the CWU? Thanks
CWU under " pledges we have secured from Labour".
@ 200iq.
Excellent news. I've been buying heavily recently.
Last tranche at 195p. I've now accumulated nearly 6000 at an average of 198p.
And the best thing is that they were paid for by overtime. Since the news IA was going to be a factor in RMG I've been doing plenty of o/t.
Just trying to shore up the IA fund.
And what better way than buying shares on the cheap, reaping the divis and then selling.
The thing that makes me really happy though, is my overtime (and many of my workmates) has been funded by shareholders.
Thanks all. I'll let you know when I sell.
I Spy.
And I'm still waiting for that bonus plan Fruitster!!!
Thanks 200iq I hope/expect that would have to be extended to all shareholders which sounds pretty costly in fact it may have to get extended to any companies they plan to renationalise. So if you buy say £10k worth tomorrow and it goes up by say £2k in 3 months you are quids in and if it was to drop £2k you will be guaranteed your £10k back....wow the phrase it sounds too good to be true springs to mind. It may encourage a lot more buying.
Sorry, just CWU members.
Ispy well done you, going from 798 shares on 29th Nov to 6000 now and being able to buy them at £1.95
Glad to see you are doing lots of overtime to please your bosses (us shareholders)
No need for you to sell soon as CWU/Labour will ensure you don't lose out.
Great that you may make up some of your previous losses
Congratulations again
200iq what about other RMG employees that have shares but not in the CWU. I really don't see that being workable or legal but sounds great.
isle on the 4/12/2019... 18.35pm you quoted"@ wolvesposty.
Of course I took my break. Are you suggesting I shouldn't?
And I did finish on my time, and I did cut off. Are you suggesting that I have to work over my time?" now that suggests you not doing overtime does it not? certainly not 12ks worth of shares....and to be fair o/t been next to nothing in summer period.... think a little exaggerated would you think.....
@ wolvesposty and Fruitster.
I think you should focus on accumulated. No time span given but if you look at the recent historical price you might have an idea when I've bought. As I stated the """"last tranche"""" was bought at 195p. Investment closer to 11K than 12K. And I sold on Friday. Still holding my 81 freebies though and any matching shares that I've "accumulated".
And regarding overtime: You do both realise that you don't have to work over your daily finish time for overtime? You only have to work over your hours.
Please get your facts right!
Fruitster. How's that fantastic bonus plan shaping up? Do you still think it's workable? Or have you realised how stupid it was?
I Spy
Isle. It's good you sold Friday @ I guess 5% increase to your pocket. How did it feel to make a profit? Do you think you could get the bug? We investors or "spivs" depending on your perspective obviously do enjoy the adrenalin rush either way.
I must admit to surprise that you joined "the enemy" for a short while as it could have had no purpose other than to make money. Something you usually see as immoral? Or did it have some moral reason in your case? Genuine thoughts which you will respond to or not. Hopefully in a civil manner.
ispy... you took 3 days to think up that bull.....so you the one that will do the easy overtime indoors and refuse the long hard slog on foot??? if I was a manager then no overtime at the front end if not prepared to do last delivery...simple.. still cannot see how you done 1k of overtime in 6 months!!!!!...add tax and ni then you would be looking at 17k overtime to get @ 11-11.5k..lets say you accumulated over 6 months and I am being generous here because o/t is and has been sparse in 2019... thats almost 3k a month.... now thats @£700 a week... equates to roughly 60hrs a week over your 38....equaling 98 hrs a week worked... 1 you are a star... 2 you are a liar and 3 how do you find time during that to spout off on here??? just a thought....:~)
hereshopin you are quite right... but that man always tries to cross the t,s and dot the I,s when I quote. I just love picking up on his... but again you are right...love debate though..lol
200iq. How is your divi cut and 100p prediction working out ?
200iq

Divi cut 30 Oct 2019 16:38
With all of Royal Mail problems the only way to keep plans on track will be a divi cut. My guess would be to 10p. So I'm looking to pile in to these around the 100p mark hopefully.
Red, it's not going too well but It might still happen. TNT compensation claim, Labour government, a strike and a set of bad results would help.
200iq. Nothing wrong in wishing for a certain event. However, remember "if wishes were horses" etc.
200iq if my granny had ball.s she would be my grandad..... your wish list seems to come straight from the cwu.....
It's not a wish list it's a prediction for 2020. Let's see how many come true.
heres mine 2001q.... wolves to win the premier league.... liverpool to be relegated. ken dodd and lester piggot to pay the taxman what they owed...now I am think on your lines....
