Planned attack. Last time they did 193p what happened after. Up she went. They doing same again. 240s soon.
Only one of my shares down - on the day before ex-dividend date. Going to top up with my profits from Asos.
buying 32k in next half hour.
Weird losing 4% day before ex divi. Planned attacked.... ah well.
seems someone who owns shares are shorting them imo.
Unusual movement for day before ex dividend date.
Wth. Is it divi record date today ffs.
And was heavily shorted. All coming to a close we hope
A very strong company with depressed SP that got stuck between boris's Brexit and Corbyn's renationalisation.
Although this was about the deal reached with Moira Green. I take from this that Rico is not the pushover she was. He has the tenacity required of a CEO.
All very well the CWU getting a good deal for their members (which is their purpose) but what use a deal if the Company has been sold off due to financial failings. I am not a union basher at all and believe in a fair deal but when push comes to shove there can only be one boss and we have that in Rico. Let's face it push has come to shove.

There may be trouble ahead?
Ive read the same view on virtually every stock prior to ex divi. Investing is not about taking a punt on one daily price, its about taking a view on targets. Do you think the funds will be selling prior to ex divi, of course not. If in doubt follow the money flows.
Agree with fruit. Its madness to sell thinking it could drop by more. Theres a 50% chance it closes less than 17p down, then you be kicking yourself as you will buy back at an effectively higher prices. With divi stocks time is your friend, but it is the shorts nightmare.
It would appear that all is not well regarding the agreement implementation.
I sense trouble.
Check out the CWU website.

Depends if you are long time , why not benefit from £4250 in a dividend then buy back in !
I got an average of £2.21 was thinking of selling my 25.000 shares and buying back after the drop
Been told these will drop by 20-25p the divi only 17p
19/07 Back to 2:17% maybe fat fingers good news anyway no increase.
The facts are simple nobody knows what price this will be Friday morning everyone should stop second guessing wait and see !
Read idedats post. Those are the facts.
Sure will.
Lot of punters on here pontificating, who haven't a scooby. The next 4 months will provide a valuable investment education.
Pictet dropped day after increasing bit strange .

I disagree with that spider. the buying has been people topping up and the likes of big funds buying back in. These guys don't buy and sell day to day, they build positions overtime. From experience I find ex divi dates rarely behave as you'd expect them to, and that generally buying / selling and buying again type strategies to try to second guess price movements virtually always results in you losing money (I've tried in the past with other stocks). Always better to buy and hold, particularly if future divis are good to.
the price has been inflated over the last 2 weeks with buying in for the divi .i suspect a lot will dump on open .
