Just for anyone arriving here and wondering what's going on : Revolymer (REVO) has changed name to Itaconix (ITX).
some who bought around 0,27 earlier in January may be taking profits ,or may be the big seller selling more shares who ever they are
cadburyhill ,is it known who the big seller is ,and how many shares they had to sell
In good hands here. Sit back and let the Management do their thing and we will all be amply rewarded.
....that this management team at Revolymer are delivering...the Itaconix transaction was a stroke of genius by Matthews, the CEO....And yet you can still buy this stock 20/30p cheaper than Neil Woodford's last in-price. The institutional seller is out of the way. It's an absolute steal here. Really...
Agreed. really good news. i guess we will have to wait for the initiation report by new broker SingerN+1 for more detail on what Croda deal will be worth. It should be out in the next few weeks... What today's news does tell us is still important. It tells us that the CEO/management team have great commercial sense and know a good transaction when they see one. And it also confirms a strong relationship between yet another global chemical player and Revolymer. Management credibility and product credibility - there's not a lot else you can ask of a small chemical company like this at this early stage in its development. It's a clear buy for patient investors.
Sounds great, but does anyone have any idea how much that market will be worth?
could simply be that the big seller, who has had this stock by the throat for months, has finally finished....that's all it would take to see a 'reflexive' move higher like this on no news. new broker might be helping, too, of course...
And the rise continues on no news at all...... :-/
yea, it's painful and frustrating to be badly underwater in one (several) of these micro-cap things - as I am at the moment.... you either tough it out and have to look at a big paper loss day after day, or you have to take some serious pain and cut it and move on. i do really like this story, so I'm sticking with it....the CEO is top quality....good luck...
Lets hope so buddy, At the moment this is languishing and nothing seems to be happening. Fingers crossed you are right
a new broker and a shake up of the BOD....the only inference we can take from this news is that the management are not happy with share price/valuation and want to create some momentum. those of us who follow this story closely do believe they've made the right strategic decisions. we've just got to be patient to allow the market to catch-up. to be fair to management, the institutional seller was beyond their control and in a thin, post-brexit, market for innovation stocks. The seller has done a lot of damage to the share price. But the price can move back quickly once the new broker issues research and the equity sales team start to tell the story with enthusiasm.
Week weve had a director change and now the Advisor has been changed. Does anyone know what is going on?
Got any paint that needs watching as it drys? Zzzzzzz
I imagine ypu are right cadburyhill, just takes time to offload
yea, just got to see off this seller...which I think is from an institution that has lost a mandate and has been forced to sell. i did buy more at 30p but no-one really knows how much more stock has to be sold but we must be getting there by now. My guess is that they'll want to get the stock off their books by end of year for lots of admin-based reasons. So at least it will go into 2017 without this overhang. I think management are superb and the US acquisition will be shown to be a game-changer. they've done such a lot here in terms of gum demerger, etc. etc. patience...ho hum...good luck!
You arent kidding! Im learning it the long way with this particular choice 🤔
Patience is the order of the day when investing... Its hardest thing to learn...
Obviously not. The optimist in me is pessimistically concerned
Agreed spindok A relatively large sell of £11.9k manages to drop the SP by 6% Not much to stir the blood at the moment, so very few trades can have a huge effect, and youre probably right. Itll be a double digit rise tomorrow based on very little lol
Been watching this since it was floated off. Cannot yet see what is likely to give this a boost and like all aim's without news it just sinks as a few give up waiting.. Now it will go boom tmmr ...!!
Little media news on the company either or on their website Alkalon are quiet too Maybe i called this wrong as the SP is just stagnating.......
The most communicative company in the world are they....
