it SHOULD be a no brainer all down to cost for them and finance for BCN
I think we all believe Tesla will come back, we are on the doorstep ! VI gotta happen !
not alluding to Tesla and Panasonic just who ever the discussions are with....
maybe Panasonic will have the possible agreement and Tesla the deal with them ,at least the RNS says Negotiations in respect to offtake agreements with these potential partners are ongoing and will continue in tandem with the preparation of the FS.
@obs....what's also quite interesting this year.....there are a couple of hedge funds with macro investment strategies .....if successful may have raised circa $2billion between them for investments.......with some funds going into the industrials & tech sectors.......
from todays RNS so partly answering my own thoughts. In terms of our offtake discussions, the expanded Pilot Plant has been operating since May 2016, producing battery grade samples of lithium carbonate for delivery to potential off-takers in Asia and Europe. We are delighted to have hosted several site visits with various interested international lithium trading companies and mining companies during the period. Negotiations in respect to offtake agreements with these potential partners are ongoing and will continue in tandem with the preparation of the FS.
If Elon Musk has said that, it suggests clearly he wants to deal directly !
.... the recent SLIGHT alteration in wording regarding OFF TAKERS to OFF TAKER is just a slip of the typewriter or one potential off taker cant pay what we are asking or the other potential off taker stipulates they dont want any competitors doing business with BCN either its not likely they would do it that is it?they would need to have a very large order to compensate for loss of other business . Panasonic could of been that potential off taker and Musk said if you do business with them(after fall out with Tesla) ill make things difficult for you another unlikely occurance being they so close, or is it so many little L ithium companies smaller than BCN are being eaten up on the cheap and BCN aint going cheap?
News will be forthcoming in respect to the commencement of our FS at Zinnwald and in respect to Sonora, we will publish an updated resource, provide an update on our offtake discussions, and of course, publish the FS.
@Obs...just egging our BCN buddies on to harass their BOD's ;-)
come on ob...
@Dallas - re your BCN comment just now - you thinking BCN have lost out to this? (which I note you first noted a few weeks back!)
I've only ever filtered one poster here - neat and couts.
Ditto And Spadger....looks like LSE have decided to wind you up by making up a pre-opening price :-) Doings etc....

Weeks ago.
Thought you never made personal attacks? ;-)
Aaaaaah ok silly me! Sorry about that Daz! If the market already knows then, it shouldn't affect the SP today! Also I thought the chief researcher in here would've also known, but the fact he/she responded as saying 'oh, we need to move in then' means probably not!! Also, 'move on' to what? Ramping another rem investment to try and raise the sp?
Just popped up

@Couts..Your research is amazing, albeit 2 months after the fact...the market was made aware of the delay in December lol ;-)
Goodness, I hope you are not being paid for this dribble Steve, don't those cats need feeding.
Peter Secker "As we advance Sonora towards production, it is our intention to develop a pipeline of additional lithium projects with a strategic geographical focus. The recent acquisition of 50% of the Zinnwald lithium project in Germany is the next step down this path. Zinnwald provides Bacanora with a potential entry into the important European lithium market which we expect to complement the Company's existing exposure to the large Asian market that Sonora provides. We will continue to provide further updates on our progress, as we look to confirm Sonora's status as the next world class lithium deposit and commence a feasibility study at Zinnwald."
Offtakers in Q1 and no feasibility study in Q1!! What a surprise that is!! that trumpet been blown to death on here when anyone could see that was never going to happen. I wonder how everyone will dress this up now? What makes me laugh with this is they are looking for an entry into the lithium market via something they invested in a few weeks ago, when they are supposedly sat on ' the Saudi Arabia of lithium' I wonder what Elon musk will say? Oh that's right he won't say anything as he hasn't a clue about any of this anyway
We are going to the moon wow !
