Mum!! Little c is pointlessly repeating the same thing in a different way again!!!
"I'm amazed people haven't cottoned on it's all a bit of a fairytale!" Is someone going to have to kiss DL? Bagsie not me!
That's the thing spike! Some of these lot think they are on the board! They revel in the status they've been given in providing up to date research (even though none of it has come true) spend all their days googling and trying to join up a million dots into something that resembles what they want to hear! I'm amazed people haven't cottoned on it's all a bit of a fairytale! Imagine constantly being told for years a horse was going to win but everytime it raced it never left the starting position! In the end surely you'd think 'hang on, I don't think this tipster is very good'
Can often be quite satisfying ... ...a job well done
'Massive shift'? One too many letters in there for you, scout.....
You left the neodymium at the top of the Bald hill. Next to a Lion's Ear just round the corner from the Monkey's forehead.
01/09/2015 WHI interview Tesla supply agreement... https://www.brrmedia.co.uk/broadcasts/55e57d3c0ae02ebe1b2d4633/rare-earth-minerals-analyst-interview-wh-ireland ...
i read it that slpp are in default... On November 23, 2016, the Company announced that the financing condition in the conditional lithium hydroxide supply agreement previously announced on August 28th, 2015 has not been met under the terms of the agreement. The Company advised that it had extensive discussions with the customer as to the feasibility of securing project specific financing pursuant to the terms and conditions of the agreement, that those discussions have now concluded, and therefore we are discontinuing further efforts to secure project specific financing pursuant to the agreement...
Not sue on method of travel up there....but some interesting info regards ITS.....at the IAC in MEXICO.......lol The Mars rocket booster may require 42 raptor engines and carry 100 people and cargo.....lol EM states most of Spacex Engineering team working on ITS within the next 1-2yrs....so very real and closer than many realise...... http://spacenews.com/spacex-unveils-mars-mission-plans/
Now where did I put my Neodymium.... !)
Yeah, SpaceX will need lots of potash for fertiliser when they start colonizing Mars! All coming together nicely now - from one mine they can build solar panels/batteries and fertilise the plants to power and feed the colony AND build the space craft and supply the fuel for the launch to get there!!! Wonder if Tesla will build Mars buggies..... PS. We've just had our company pool car Model-S delivered. It's got the new Autopilot 2 and is literally covered in cameras - it's even got them hidden in the indicators! Doesn't work as well as the one we've got with Autopilot 1 though, which is a bit odd.
scout... are you saying the tesla agreement has now been cancelled... where did this news get cast in stone... post us a link up...
codemonkey....lol.....what and leave out all the other goodies that were quickly whisked away with the scoping study..... Don't mention the nearby gold, silver, copper areas as well .......well let's just focus on the Lithium then...lol I suppose that's a plentiful, cheap, readily accessible, secure commodity and easily available supply for the current & future market demand......
So much for a polite Bb discussion on Spacex developments.......I mentioned methane....really no need for the response.....however if it makes you feel better..... Find plenty of smelly gas posted on these boards at the moment....by certain posters.... Your hyperthetical scenario of methane could simply be out there and being more capable of being used for return....what just scoop it up and fill up the gas tank, never had such a good chuckle .....what planet are you living on ???? Hope the first rockets and crews have enough supplies, as ain't coming back any time soon if that's the case ....... hahahahahaha ...... Oh by the way in case you weren't aware....BCN has found, mined and processed Lithium LCE..... try adding dilute hydrofluoric acid.....and see what you come up with, but that may not be necessary..... Anyway....good luck with your own research....
Couts, you are of course correct. All this rocket fuel talk is complete nonsense. Its the Aluminium Lithium alloy used in the fuel and oxidiser tanks in the Falcon 9 that _really_ matter ;)
None of us on the BB know what's going on. We're not in the board room. Simples. All the theories are just that, theories. We all look at the evidence and draw our conclusions, where ever that lies and then they get published on here. Some one is going to be right.
The goalposts here again today I see! For years it's been EV's and energy storage and as none of it has got Rem share price anywhere, people are now dreaming up the rocket angle!! Tesla tesla tesla tesla.....no deal with tesla = we didn't want a deal with them really!! lenigas said we don't need the Chinese - roll on tesla.....no deal with tesla = the Chinese market is where it's at Don't bother quoting lenigas he's nothing to do with rare earth minerals - lenigas tweets something positive = David was always in the background striking up lithium deals for rare earth minerals Q1 news Q1 news, roll on Q1 - no Q1 news = we knew it would be delayed anyway Offtakers offtakers offtakers Q1 - no offtakers news = back to tesla but this time it's the rocket fuel angle is the most lucrative!!! Can't you see how laughable it is! You are just convincing yourselves
Welshy ... No, do you? Great article, where does it mention Lithium/Fluorine. It's methane, has REM invested in any cow farms? For ITS methane could be an abundant resource in the atmosphere of other planets and more capable of being used to return to Earth than finding, mining and processing Lithium/Fluorine.
Also good post, I'm ready for a chemistry A level ;-)
Today's science and tech a lot more advanced....as we are seeing with battery developments.... !) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liquid_rocket_propellant http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1878535215000106
Tesla confirms production of Model 3 'beta prototypes' electrek.co/2017/03/02/tes… https://electrek.co/2017/03/02/tesla-model-3-beta-prototypes/ ...
Spike....do you happen to know where Spacex are with their engine developments etc etc....space industry still coming to terms with where Spacex raptor is at for example.......what else is advanced behind closed doors to enable the ITS programme to come about....although methane used for the lower stages......what lightweight propellant will be required to return from Mars..... https://www.nasaspaceflight.com/2016/10/its-propulsion-evolution-raptor-engine/ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFUH0_ar40A
@codemonkey....not into ramping....did you say £555.55
Good post
Greenland is the Gorilla in the room It's the project why many people came to invest in Rem in the first place Could easily dwarf all our other projects combined
