I expect this coming week to be pretty poor, although maybe it's just hope rather than anything else as I cut my stake significantly when it entered an overbought 14d rsi. Can't imagine it rises much more before earnings anyway.
Best of luck all.
Really starting to get some momentum now, I think that this is in part because it is starting to jockey for a place for inclusion in the FTSE250 at the next rebalance. Not sure if it will make it this time, but it was always the upside to this holding that it could easily move up out of the Small Cap Index just by doing 'OK'. The interims come just after (MCap ranking is on the 1st Dec) so they will not affect this (except in the longer term).
Likely to see one more retrace before results come out, although maybe not a low as our all too familiar 1.80s.

The news seems, to me, to be that the smallest part of their company (Redde) is struggling and the largest two parts (Northgate UK & I and Northgate Spain) are recovering well and are now functioning at pre-covid levels.
With all the small stores that previously had no delivery service having to pivot to delivery for Xmas Northgate should be in a great position to benefit. The interim results in December will unfortunately not reflect this but perhaps they will provide a trading update in the new year.
sell off yesterday was general market not stock specific, so annoyong but no reflection on REDD outlook...mm's mark down whole sectors and those linked with them at times like this so for the eagle eyed opportunity to exists to secure cheaper shares in companies that have been marked down ....the story has and will get better by the looks of things, nice divi upcomomg and at current price certainly offers value going forward :-)
Well clearly the rest of the market did not think so.
Surprising as it was pretty much confirming what they said at the time of the results, except that VoH has increased further since then (was just below pre covid, now just above).
Redde taking time to recover had been flagged , so nothing new there.
Perhaps it is the possibility of lockdowns here and in Spain along with the general sell off today?
Well, a bit more detailed than last years. Looking OK from this. They are comfortable paying a divi but it would have been nice to know net debt.
FT has 6 broker targets ,
1 hold, 2 outperform , 3 buy
target prices 232 low, 306 med and 427 high
No details whether these are all post April though. Upside even with the lowest rating...
The AGM is tomorrow, let's hope that they give a trading update which is a bit more informative than last years....
'is in line with management expectations.'

I envisage van hire growing over next few months with the likes of supermarkets etc increasing hire heading into xmas & smaller business hiring instead of buying (capital protection)
well, it bounced
a tad
on a down day

:-)
yep, the sp movement looks totally unrelated to the decent turnaround story here imv
why pay 200p, when 180p may be available soon enough??
:-)
I know very little about technicals but it has never really hung around at £2. It looks to me like 190-193 range or back to the 185 line - especially with doom in the air. Personally, I am hanging out till 185.
testing £2, as expected
likely to retest 180-185p area as well?
https://www.piworld.co.uk/2020/08/07/piworld-interview-with-richard-leonard-investor-trader-life-in-a-family-office/
42 min 50 sec Redd is mentioned in detail with clear targets in excess of 230p over coming weeks
all good except the sp cannot make headway above 215, it seems...
so lower highs ==> downdraft to retest 180-190p range??
From the Telegraph
'Coronavirus is driving a “white van man” boom as the pandemic boosts demand for home deliveries, fuelling a spike in the price of second hand commercial vehicles used by couriers.'
Should be good for the company.
lol..I was flattered ....takes all sorts and different views to make a market :-)
not really neg & certainly not stalking
lol...it dipped below 200 p last week..so gap up looks on over comimg seesion.....me thinks youare stalking me with your negatives :-) takes all sorts gl
