Hmmm, what about leveraged positions? Lots of new apps now offer that. (I dont touch them).
It is the long awaited business review which will be of more importance than the results themselves..IMO
I am fairly positive with regards the plan of the future , and it is that, that needs to cheer investors rather than the results of a quarter already been and gone
One would expect with reducing supply, ie the MM pool, there would be support for higher prices to match demand with supply? Went the other way today.
What is everyone’s gut feel about results? Can’t see them spanking a load of cash on EV charge points without a decent windfall in the coffers. Crude seems to be levelling off, but at a pretty reasonable price.
BP planning on only maintaining its most profitable wells for the medium term, I’ve seen quotes of extraction cost of around 3 dollars a barrel. I guess shell have done the same. With a lot of production shut down, I’m expecting a nice surprise next thursday
"Why are there consistently more but than sell trades then? This is market maker skulduggery"
Every share bought must have had a seller. Unlike fiat money, real shares are in finite supply. Only short sellers have imaginary shares!
Err and it’s also an over hyped market with dismal news for many many companies that 2022 isn’t going to be great, easyjet say Q2 will only have 10% of 2019 flights in the air and vaccines won’t be the solution to air travel any time soon.

While our shares will fall in the short term. Some reddit users have made a killing!
This fall is not about that. Everyone knows the fundamentals of shell are sound. This is about hedge funds crapping themselves and selling good shares to cover losses at Gamestop and that cinema chain. This was caused by Reddit users taking on the establishment and winning!
Shell will return to £25 plus before end of this year the world economy will explode and remember you cant fly plug in hybrid air liners.Oil will still be in massive demand in 25years time.
Sold out around the 7th of jan. I did a post then if you scroll down. It felt like a few weeks ago!! I think Shell is a fantastic buy! Take advantage while you can because there not going to be in the £12 range for long. The markets should turn from next week possibly as BP results are out on 2nd Feb. This usually mirrors BP.
Got out on 19 Jan at 14.04 net. On 14 Jan 14.42 isn't far fetched..
No way I'll be back at this level. The 1400s were optimism kicking in.
Three weeks ago on the 7th or in the days following. I sold some around then too.
Just how did Death sell at 1442p a few weeks ago ?
Its only traded above £14 for about 10 days this month.
Maybe time frame a bit out ?????
Sure - at over a quid a share gain I did likewise on Monday.
Sold my lot at 1442p a few weeks ago. Next week is earnings season. Everything will jump up ! I'm buying back at these reduced rates.
