England Football team is even worse than the stock market ..As least I can WIN on RBS Shares Hopefully a bit of stability today ..and talk of over sold has been mentioned We will see......
Does it take a football result to turn the market? Yesterday, every one of my shares was showing red, today every one is blue. Surely nowt to do with footie? What else? I guess yesterday was reflecting the immediate panic following the vote, maybe today some calm is returning?
This sited needs to get its share price correct if it is going to show it at all... 211P price shown yesterday and the start of today ...is 30p out... Moderator please take note...
Yes well and truely ... Such a diabolical performance.. They did not even score a goal on merit... They were given a shot on goal via penalty... What a day.. The manager resigns, 30 plus labour mps resign .. England football team out of Europe and the UK maybe out of Europe ...like I say.. Life is full of uncertainty Over 35 million in the UK and the best football league in the world and for the past 50 years the England team cannot or have not won anything ... It just DEFIES ANY LOGIC that so many highly paid players, can achieve so little, for so long... My gut feeling was as I posted earlier that they might get hammered and they did... And now excuses will explain so many poor passes or missed shots on goal target.. Still we are now used to being ashamed of the national England football team as history reminds us all .. Hopefully tomorrow may be better ... But Excuse the pun .. Don't BANK on it...
Guess you got hammered then!!
Jings was on a good few weeks ago and told us that he was having a break and would not be on here for a while. due to other things going on. He did say that he would pop back sometimes. last time he was on i think was 5 /6 weeks ago
Now you mention him,not seen him over this period, not here nor Barcs nor Lloyds. I can't see tomorow bringing any joy. Now Corbyn has lost his Energy Sec. Angela Eagle. I hear that Tom Watson is trying to get him to step down but Corbyn has 220,000 party members behind him.
If only!! LSE at its best or is it posting future RBS position ? Is Jings about?
I stayed out. wait and see what tomorrows brings.......................... one never knows with this share
No doubt the market will settle down and the SP will rise again...That`s what shares do ..Especially this share. Patience usually provides a profit...in the end... opportunities at this level must come soon... Not forgetting the certainty is UNCERTAINTY....Lets see what tomorrow brings ... So blow the shares for today and I will watch England ..Win .. or if this is a really bad day......Get hammered..... Keep Smiling All....
It was too stressful watching the crash so I did a bit of gardening and went to the gym..I don't do the pumping iron bit with crazy hip-hop and rap..I only use the pool. Can't believe what's happened to this share. I think you got in at 188p on Friday. Good job I didn't get in at 215p on Thursday. I really posted to say what a nice life-story you posted this morning. My wife and I have spoken about moving to the east coast but it's chilly..lol BUT. I photograph wild life and that's the place.I also want to get to Lincs. to Donna Nook. No idea how far you are from it but worth a visit at the right time. It's three hours from Norwich. http://www.lincstrust.org.uk/donna-nook Whilst we, in effect, have no government to speak of there will be mayhem .I'm liking the posts by Duander3 and Koolervanme over on Lloyds. I'm not sure about investing hearer..seems RBS and Barcs have been badly hit, much more so than Lloyds which concentrates on the UK economy. Coffe time in the summerhouse .
No idea here why the 2.11 price was showing here........... certainly made me check......... i think google finance rbs is much better to go with. mailman : still out here at the moment
Thanks for that. Very difficult trying to watch this as it is. Traveller: I prefer the 211. Showing at the top of this page. 👍
Surely a better price than the past 2 years ... Your choice it will stabilise at one point .... How low do you wait before you make any move or not... You have to make that choice and gamble or stay in cash and save ...Unknown situation at the moment... Fortune they say favours the brave... Good luck whatever you do... we could up to 220p by the end of this week... ..who really knows.. it is all a gamble ... the markets are wild at the moment. ..we all know the uncertainty...
Current SP ..172p at 15.10pm
I just went onto my trading account and the price on there is £1.74 ?????????????
The newspapers say the share was suspended today. That's not what happened. what happened was the share went "INTO AUCTION". This is a type of suspension, but it's very temporary, usually minutes and only 'suspended' to allow the MMs adjust for the falling price…not what we normally mean by 'suspension' which requires an company announcement and can last days or months. technically the share is suspended every day as it always opens 'in auction'. So more dramatics
Sorry I'm not getting good enough internet where I am. Lse is showing 211
151 to 175 so far.
Is trading suspended?
Will I ever see a profit again. This used to be fun.
How low this sp is, Hardly even close to recovering and back to square one and still falling. I feel sorry for the long term holders
The MMs are using the brexit as an excuse to make their free summer holiday money as usual. Just before the city goes on holiday, the GBP to EUR will climb and the bankers buy Euros with the money they made on companies like RBS. I have seen RBS shares at 10p a few years ago, so the SP hasn't hit bottom yet. Don't forget the MMs can drive any share down to near zero and then back up again really fast. The MMs hold the boo kand only they know where punters have put their money.
£1.65
That line of thinking saw me loose a lot of money during the last financial crisis. I worked at the bank at the time and thought £4.50 good price etc etc. I was a newbie to investing back then and had all my money in just RBS (my first mistake) My second was chasing the share downward thinking it can't possible go lower And my third was holding on for years thinking it will restructure and recover I would say if you have a well diversified PF already and are not over exposed here add some more sure but if your just doing it so the % loss looks more palatable I'd take a step back before putting money in. A euro breakup or even the prospect of one will see this go lower still. It's been 8 years since the crisis and t anyone holding over that time has seen scant reward. I learned a painful lesson that day. Diversify and spread your risk.
