Wow
The former CEO Scaife tried to run before he could walk and was far too optimistic with his expectations. But I think the Board were poor too. Chris Rigg has learnt from his mistakes but he has a more experienced board.
What is your target price? I remember buying shares from my son at £1.65 because at that time I was led to believe the price was going to £2.00. Should have sold then and bought back at 40p.
at this rate we're going to reach my target point somewhat earlier than i thought, question now i guess is am i setting the bar too low.
Let's hope their expansion into new markets is more successful that Tesco though!
Hi Rylidan, I add a few more areas that i believe make this the best turnaround play i know . . . 1. Revenue growth on the remaining business 2. That profit margins are going to be as good as stated 3. That new products are bought on-line to drive the growth 4. Focus on products where QP has an advantage 5. New export markets brough on line (perhaps not imminent but certainly over next 12 months I am hopeful) 6. Better management of balance sheet and debt 7. Board hevaily invested and overseeing management.
Looking at l2 I think this should smash 70p
I also was waiting to top up when funds became available. However, the rabbit is now out of the hat and running. It should be noted that this is a recovery play. I personally see fair value being achieved at the end of 2018, when the reformed company has a chance to show 1. Revenue growth on the remaining business 2. That profit margins are going to be as good as stated 3. That new products are bought on-line to drive the growth However, the signs from the past 10 months have been excellent, so I have every hope of this exceeding £2 by that date. Time will tell, and I'm sure there will be plenty of trading opportunities here if that's the way you play it!
Looks to me 70p about to go
at 67p, was going to get in back at 58p but was waiting to sell my BT shares, oh well hopefully the rise will continue regardless!
We may see more that 70 before the end of month update......
Yep it's on breakout now, my guess 70p close
We know from rns results better then management expectations, once this 63p this will breakout imo
Think 62p won't last long
Just been quoted 58.8p to sell.
JCTY News has placed our technicals under review that might suggest a reversal due here. Far too complicated for me but anyone who looks at trends may wish to read it.
I grabbed 5k shares at 58.75p according to the update group revenue is ahead of management expectations, that sounds good to me
MM nearly always prepared to nudge the bid up. GLA
They don't want people to buy this cheap, been monitoring this and someone in the background is buying them up
Someone is buying what they can at this price. Almost all the visible trades are sells yet the price rises? Still not sure why anyone is selling right now though.
People just need cash sometimes. Maybe it's not moving fast enough for the traders here? Who knows. They could of course be transfers between family members, or to SIPPs. The only one who knows is the person that executed the trade LOL
So if they were sells then why would someone sell after last weeks positive trading statement and figures due on 30th?
Curious, so I just had to check. Currently you can buy at 58.55 or sell at 57.25
Agreed! However, a lot of trades at 57 which automatically get tagged as sells due to the trading range. Some may easily be SIPP transfers, or someone may simply be buying all they can at 57p? Who knows?
