What are the odds that QBT's Method B will achieve 160% probability improvement in real world live Bitcoin mining?
My personal view is that in the live BTC mining world, the odds are against QBT's software replicating results achieved in the lab; My reasoning is that the Bitcoin network difficulty and hashing power skews the odds against QBT achieving their goals. If it's possible to achieve 160% probability improvement using software, then you'd expect the miners with their billions of investment in infrastructure would have also researched any possible efficiency improvements using software.
I'm not saying QBT wont achieve their goals, I just believe the odds are against them.
Yaaawwwn fleccy. That’s low grade
"Yaaawwwn fleccy"
So i see nothing has changed with fleecy then
'What are the odds that QBT's Method B will achieve 160% probability improvement in real world live Bitcoin mining?'
The longer live testing goes on the less likely imo. 3+ months now of live testing and still QBT cannot confirm that it works on the live network. I also suspect that they are currently not using a remotely hosted SaaS as part of their current testing. Neither are they using commercially available rigs. So the live results are still very much being created in 'lab' and not the 'real world'
Just an honest opinion based on QBT's updates. I'll stand corrected if anyone can direct me to any real world mining results, matching and confirming QBT's lab data results.
When you're only testing one 1 machine results are going to take some time 💪 👌
Fleccy. As a so-called well researched poster, I probably think you know the answer to that one.
Fleccy, I don’t get it, you know full well that we are waiting for the results on the live testing now being carried out that will confirm live testing %.
I can only take it you are trying to misinform or scaremonger? Why would you do that?
Method B doesnt even work, the man himself has told you that, now trying method C.
Not hard.
Brew All of the large North American and Chinese Bitcoin mining and chip manufacturing companies with whom QBT has engaged, are waiting for the results of our live tests, in particular with Method A and B, using currently available commercial mining rigs, before we can move to the commercial stage As announced on 20 October 2023, we can confirm that Method A and B have been redesigned to be technically available as a SaaS client-server cloud application.”
“using currently available commercial mining rigs”
Jambone, ill tell you again, it's in the Prn. Have a read.
Jambone " Aimhigher, can you show me the proof method B doesn’t work please?"
Yes he can as FG contacted him last night and told him.
The last R&D update stated:
"Update on the Porting of Method A and Method B onto commercial mining rigs
The porting of Method A and Method B onto commercial rigs has proven to be very challenging. The R&D team is currently testing different solutions for the final stage in order to deliver a fully reliable product. An exact date for market roll-out cannot be provided at this stage.
In the latter part of 2023, the Company selected two target mining rigs for the porting of Method A and Method B including a Chinese machine based on the BM13XX family of ASIC chips.
Transferring the Company’s documented laboratory test results, in particular Method B, to use in conjunction to a commercial ASIC chip, has proven to be challenging and further work is currently ongoing. Due to the very specific, architectural choices in the Chinese manufacturer’s design of BM13XX chips along with no formal collaboration between QBT and the manufacturer, the Company first needed to understand the architecture of the chip and how to best implement Methods A and B. The R&D team is testing different solutions for this final stage in delivering the product, however the exact date of delivery cannot be provided at this stage."
'Brew All of the large North American and Chinese Bitcoin mining and chip manufacturing companies with whom QBT has engaged, are waiting for the results of our live test'
Not sure what point you are making. They were contacted by QBT who made claims and showed their lab data. They are now waiting for QBT to prove it in the real world. Just because they are waiting for results does not give any indication of the likelyhood of success. I also believe they are not testing at the moment with commercial rigs or with a SaaS, both things that will need to be introduced in order to satisfy the requirements of the miners.
Also, note the phrase 'technically available'. That does not mean it is available.
Jambone, can you show me the proof method B does work ? Thought not, just complete trolling tosh.
“using currently available commercial mining rigs”
From the PRN:
'the Company is performing intensive live mining tests 24/7 using ASIC-based Bitcoin mining devices connected to two large mining pools.'
It does not say they are testing with commercial rigs, especially as the PRN also states:
'The porting of Method A and Method B onto commercial rigs has proven to be very challenging. The R&D team is currently testing different solutions for the final stage in order to deliver a fully reliable product. An exact date for market roll-out cannot be provided at this stage.'
'Aimhigher, can you show me the proof method B doesn’t work please? '
Maybe Vlad could try that line of reasoning in his sales meetings. Ask the miners for proof Method B does not work.
Brew Francesco Gardin, CEO and Executive Chairman of Quantum Blockchain Technologies commented:
“All of the large North American and Chinese Bitcoin mining and chip manufacturing companies with whom QBT has engaged, are waiting for the results of our live tests, in particular with Method A and B, using currently available commercial mining rigs, before we can move to the commercial stage As announced on 20 October 2023, we can confirm that Method A and B have been redesigned to be technically available as a SaaS client-server cloud application.”
Brew.read it. “Using Currently available commercial mining rigs”
'Brew.read it. “Using Currently available commercial mining rigs”'
More obfuscation from FG. Twice in the PRN QBT state they are struggling to get the Methods working on commercially available rigs. When referencing their testing however they don't state they are using commercially available rigs, they use the phrase 'ASIC-based Bitcoin mining devices'. Make of that what you will.
FG in his comments then said that miners were waiting for the results of the live tests on commercial rigs. Yet had stated in the same PRN they were struggling to get the Methods working on commercial rigs. So a mess of a PRN that as usual creates more questions than it answers. Especially as he then uses the phrase 'technically available' when referring to a SaaS. That to me does not indicate a SaaS is being used for testing.
Anyones guess what is going on. You would hope that as scientists they would be more careful about the phrasing used and more exacting with the information they put into the public realm.
Brewlala, why are you still here, if you believed any of the 💩 you posted you wouldn’t be here, your posts are designed for small % trades and to try and keep the SP in a range, when you trade your posts become more and more desperate, EXACTLY the same as BC, who would have guessed😉
Nearly 1000 negative posts on your 3 month old account where you said you were new to, now let me 🤔
'your posts are designed for small % trades and to try and keep the SP in a range'
You believe my posts are controlling the share price? Here's me thinking the 1p share price was due to the complete lack of delivery from QBT.
