So I need to reorder my Fruitflow + Omega 3, but Amazon and Holland & Barrett both say out of stock and no sign of product in the new packaging. Appreciate this is only one of the products available with FF but surely this is the main seller? Anybody know what's going on? K
They did mention that production was delayed by the pandemic, but said it was resolved now. Those of us buying from Provexis seem to have been getting repeat orders on time, this of course gives greater profit margin to the company which is why I choose to buy that way.
I'm aware of that alf, however I'm looking at it from the point of view of the average punter. If they go back to Amazon or H-B and find their usual product marked "out of stock", no idea when it will come back into stock, and no suggested alternative, they're going to be lost as a customer. Is PXS in the position where it can afford to throw off 000's of customers? I think not. This isn't good enough.
Have you considered that the delayed ordering of stock is in the hands of the seller, not the supplier?
Lots and lots of retailers trying to reduce their inventory costs in this period, it most certainly isn't a simple procedure. One would hope that, in an online search, the option of buying direct from Provexis would be thrown up, giving consumers the chance to get their supply. There is a reason that these two retailers are in an out of stock position, but I'm sure it isn't something that Provexis are unaware of.
Why would Amazon AND Holland & Barrett have delayed ordering stock? If the line is selling well, as the numbers apparently confirm, they would have repeat orders in place in good time. I know what the reaction of large supermarkets would be to stock outage. They would immediately de-list the supplier and force them to jump through hoops before even considering relisting their product. People like the simplicity of ordering from Amazon or H&B where they have an account set up & trust the supplier. They don't want to have to search for a different supplier. I'm just really confused by this, it's genuinely concerning (from the point of view of my investment, rather than my personal supply, which is neither here nor there for anyone but me).
Have you tried contacting Amazon, h&b or even provexis to find out why they have been out of stock?
What is the reason they are out stock?
So here's the feedback from Amazon:
Hafsa: I understand that the capsules are so important in the present situation. However, the product was out of stock hence it got removed from the listing, as soon as it becomes available we will make sure it is displayed on the website.
Me: OK thanks, any idea when that will be?
Hafsa: I'm sorry but i don't want give you any false information but you will be able see the product when it becomes available
I've contacted H&B too so will wait & see what they come back with before going to PXS and asking them what's going on.
Unless it's changed, it was my understanding it was Provexis selling via Amazon not Amazon buying from Provexis.
It was also my understanding that the original oblong box was changed to the square box to facilitate likes of H&B for on shelf display.
Either way, there's no listing on Amazon currently so any customer looking to repeat order from Amazon will be disappointed.
Bella, I don't know this but had assumed that amazon orders were done through James and James.

On to the 4th style of packaging now.
Gixer...yes J&J do fill Provexis Amazon orders. PXS just use Amazon as a marketing/sales point.
That's one of the reasons I put him onto J&J in the first place.
The packaging change was probably instigated by DSM and whoever does the packaging. FF+ is a DSM concept and available to others as a Fruitflow + another ingredient mix but only Provexis can actually use the Fruitflow name. From what I can see the concept hasn't really taken off.
I got the impression the previous non-exex DSM guy has signed up to IFs desire to copy all things Alteronon and he helped push through the idea of a FF+ range.
If Bi-health are looking at a FF+ range then perhaps the new packaging has been introduced with them in mind too.
Sorry Bella, I disagree. The packaging will be the choice of pxs not dsm. There are a few ff+ Omega products for sale throughout the world. Well same product different seller and packaging. Circuace being one example.
http://www.circuace.com.hk/about.html
I see your point Gixer but why would PXS instigate the change... Its also new stock so other may follow later.
I still don't quite understand why Circuace states theirs is made in the US...
The German product (Optiflow?) was in this type of packaging prior to Provexis launching. Preferred it, and may have mentioned that in conversation. Has to be more recyclable surely.
"why would PXS instigate the change"
I would say that it is probably the cheaper option and is more sturdy for going through the post. I have had a few crushed boxes in my time.
"don't quite understand why Circuace states theirs is made in the US"
Maybe it is. The Japanese version also shows made in US.

Gixer.. If they are producing in the US, as well as in Europe, then perhaps US is boxes/plastic tubs and they are looking to switch Europe onto the new plastic boxes or offering it as an alternative.
IF would only switch if made to or there was a saving on cost. If there was a cost saving then he should be mentioning it.
Re "If there was a cost saving then he should be mentioning it."
What a load of testicles. Any cost saving on packaging would be minor and make next to no difference to our cashflow, so I'd file that sort of info under "Excuse me if I don't give a damn" !
Admittedly, it's vaguely interesting to discuss the minor points of running a retail business, especially to those of us where it's not the day job, but FF+ is pretty much immaterial to Provexis as a whole, and packaging costs within FF+ are a small part of immaterial, so expecting Ford to discuss it, especially via a specific RNS or even a press release is nuts.
It might get a mention in a para in an Annual Report, but I sincerely hope it doesn't, because it'd just be filler.

BB...I did not say they should have put out and RNS...but yet again IF has missed a big trick marketing wise...the FF+ Facebook page hasn't even been updated with the new product and no mention of it either, even though customers are now receiving it.
FF+ is actually quite a big % of PXS's income stream right now and has meant they can keep their fundraising down but it could have contributed much, much more.
Where's the FF+ NO....???
What happened to the other Sales Outlets.
Please don't give me Covid as an excuse because FF and FF+ are perfect online sales products.
Now that Stuart Lucas is the largest Major Shareholder and I hope he continues to grow his share holding, perhaps he might start to be a little proactive within the company and give them a good rattle. If China falls flat...then what?
For the sake of all those shareholders who are still holding at a substantial loss, I really do hope China comes good.
Are you still invested BB?
IF, a man completely in the wrong place at the wrong time. Should have been chucked out years ago IMO.
