Young blood plasma is known to confer beneficial effects on various organs in mice. However, it was not known whether young plasma rejuvenates cells and tissues at the epigenetic level;

FF and PXS is in danger of been by passed by higher technologies IMO.

There was no comment on the young blood study I posted 1st on this thread , hiding heads in the sand maybe ? I have still got my shares but I will not be buying more due to the fear of bigger better new entries coming along.
Ian Ford sadly not on the speakers list
https://www.undoing-aging.org/speakers.html
He has never spoken at any conferences and certainly refuses to put his mug shot up on anything. He's a bean counter not a Dr or scientist. Plus he would never travel to Germany right now nor would he Zoom...
This is an even for O'Kennedy or DSM... Wherever they all are right now via Internet conferencing...
My IF comment was tongue in cheek , clearly a fish out of water , so why is he CEO of a Bio Science Co?
Unfortunately he more or less took over from Moon who got out a few years back to start another business. I keep saying that this Company needs a different person leading it. It needs someone with verve, vision and energy; qualities apparently not present in the current "leadership" However, he has a hard core band of supporters such as Alf who won't hear a word against him. If I had more shares, the enthusiasm and more knowledge of the Companies Act, I would be proposing the removal of two Directors as per the action taken on Valirx to remove two useless Directors who had run the Company into the ground. We have a super product which should now be as well known as Yakult or Benecol. Remember, FF was supposed to be the "Jewel in the crown" for DSM. Doesn't say much for their marketing does it?
No company needs shareholders like you.
Seen it before, many times, investor action producing exactly the opposite of what they wanted.
Why should the actions of dimwits who bought and sold at the wrong time prove effective? Think about it, it's a counter Darwinian theory.
Is it impossible for you to respond with a constructive view or do you always have to turn it into a personal issue with me? You clearly show that you are as cheesed off as the rest of us. This isn't about buying and selling as I would be interested to have a masterclass on how to make any money on a share such as this, with minimal movement and such a wide spread! I sincerely don't believe that the departure of Ford would be detrimental to the any prospects PXS has. On the contrary, I believe that fresh minds are needed to kickstart the business and, as Bella has pointed out, a "Bean Counter" like Ford is not what is needed.
PS, please don't refer to me as a Dimwit or in similar pejorative terms in future. Keep the debate about the failures of the BOD.
Well, what I've seen elsewhere.
Folks who buy in at a moment in time, most probably with the intention of ripping a fast buck, talk enthusiastically about the prospects for the share, based almost entirely on hope and greed. Though they have zero expertise, they don't hold back in their expectation of almost instant, large rewards. The market is influenced by many things, we all know that, and many influence sentiment on a share, from the global shock we are all living through, right down to vindictive chatter on forums such as this one. Despite that, some folks expect a share to perform for them come what may, a develop an irrational opinion of the executives if it doesn't.
In some cases, a cry goes up for heads to roll. Sometimes they achieve that aim, but I don't recall a single event where that action has worked out beneficially, but I can recall times when it has proved disastrous. How many times have I posed the question back to you, asking who it would be who recruits another executive when you have had removed the only executives? And who would willingly walk towards a company in the knowledge that bickering small time holders have such powers?
I just don't see what you are constantly agitating for as practical, beneficial, or even appropriate for a holder of a tiny fraction of the issued shares. The considered response of an investor who doesn't approve would be to take their funds elsewhere, rather than continually seek to destroy sentiment and support.
I've acknowledged many times that timescales were something I couldn't predict, and I certainly couldn't predict the hugely tough commercial outlook that will exist for some time to come. DSM have a huge challenge in trying to encourage new brand launches, and By Health will surely be reticent about a big marketing campaign when so much if China's economy has been impacted by the current crisis.
To expect anything of significance at this time is, misguided at best IMHO.
I think I can precis that post:
" People who bought in 10 years ago should be grateful that the Company has come this far so quickly but please don't question the rate of progress or those whose job it is to deliver value especially if you're not a major shareholder like me. Any bolshie talk will be blamed on trader mentality. Don't agitate for change because the team are doing well and have earned their millions over the years. In any case, there's no one else to take on the poisoned chalice. All this is irrelevant anyway because Covid-19 has spelled the end of the world and any Chinese interest in the product has probably ended. We all know that FF probably helps us protect ourselves against Covid-19 but we obviously are not allowed to suggest this in case Ian Ford has to do something"
And I thought I was a pessimist!!
Your reply doesn't address the two practical issues I questioned you about.
Again.
I'm sure there are provisions in The Companies Act to cover such situations. In reality, I would love DSM to buy out PXS, own the IP and get rid of the leeches. MC is £12m so an offer of 2p per share would only be £50m and most of us would bite their hand off for 2p because IMO we will NEVER EVER see 2p again. It's over IMO.Missed the bus and Covid-19 which could have helped our cause because of our valid and provan product, has delivered the coup de grace. All IMO. I've finished posting for the time being. It's getting tedious. Keep well all.
Ever hopeful... 'so why is he CEO of a Bio Science Co?'
You have to back to the PXS/SIS de merger days.
He was toast as far as Moon was concerned and as he was going to resign and move family down under it was decided he knew so much about PXS and FF they would offer him the chance of basically running PXS (what was left) from his new home. DSM calls the shots globally on mfg, sales and mktg based on the AA.
Getting rid of 2 directors helped the share price in Val;it allowed some to get out with a small loss;I'm sure DSM are happy enough taking their cut from FF;no news for 5 months;role on the results 11years in the making and still not known to the masses! !!!
Bella. It wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that DSM do not want to see any rise in the SP in case they decide to make a bid at some stage bearing in mind that PXS is now a mature Company. This would explain the lack of any publicity and a compliant puppet in Australia who refuses to say anything to the Shareholders.
Now you are getting in to defamation territory.
Again you said you would no longer post, but instantly break that promise to continue your vitriol.
You really are something else.
As for Nex movement Bella, grow up and recognise a blatantly obvious Bed&ISA for pity's sake.
If you are not able to converse with the executive then shouldn't you be moving your funds elsewhere?
Alfista I didn't say the trades were suspicious, just that they had been made over on Nex.
I am well aware of PXS's history Bella , 10 years ago Farmgirl told us that PXS would take 4 years to get FF off the ground , well 10 long years later it is getting ever more below the ground , hence the rhetorical question , why have a Accountant as CEO of a Biotech? IF is without inspiration and is all about him, I wish I had recorded my conversations with him .
No one has 'rolled out' my scenario of larger more science based technologies over taking PXS and FF in a blink of the eye, this Imo is why there is no movement with FF . It could work but for it to do so will cost someone millions and why gamble on that if you might be crushed by a gene advancement or another ?
This is why imo you should not be putting good money after bad . Much safer bets out there.
It hasn't helped that FF is a well kept secret.
Everhopeful... Yes I did say that way back then and I honestly believed it could be done. If you've had conversations with IF then you'll know why I have questioned the direction or lack of.
For me and I discussed this many times with him it's the name Fruitflow which is the biggest problem and he was too fixated on trying to copy Ateronon, put everything out to so called friendly experts. DSM developed the FF+concept but they haven't taken it any further due to lack of take up. iHealth has been hugely successful for DSM but no FF...yet time and time again IF said FF was DSMs gold standard!!!
Yes I used to be hugely positive but not now. Should China pan out that will be brilliant but I'm sure any wiff of big numbers will lead to PXS being farmed in prior to any volume sales being realised.
Alfista I admire the fact you have remained positive and fight from the companies corner and I do hope all shareholders will be rewarded one day but it's been a very long hard struggle for many and doesn't look good when news dries up and the only person with whom shareholders have had any dialogue refuses to respond. Just not a good look right now.
FFs saving grace might be that the new technologies gene / bio tech health givers might be beyond the purse of many , so FF could end up the poor mans tonic? this is just being hopeful as someone has to spend a lot for this to happen. the alternative is slow growth which means another 10 years , but hey at least IF will be gone by then ! or will he?
FF is really aimed at the worried well middle classes. At £28 pm on subscription for two of us, I have never considered it a particularly cheap product and the cost is much higher if bought off the shelf. The people who probably need it most would rather spend the money on KFC or ciggies etc!
True, and the middle classes often think that nothing will happen to them as they jog and eat organic ( Andrew Marrr) , so they are not interested either. I have yet to convert anyone to FF . £15 a month they say !
I do think 50p a capsule is expensive but I don't know how that figure is arrived at. It certainly isn't aimed at a broad market.
