In the current cycle, I see 188 potential before the SP relaxes.
Entitled 'Pension vs. ISA: The Pro's & Con's'. A firm conclusion drawn...or fence-sitting?!
I'd a target re-entry on XTA planned around 996 but the Dubai effect has skewed everything. Not sure where it is going except down, maybe. Midmorning and lunchtime indicators indicated a down afternoon on the major miners but it is only the minor miners thus far. Actually, have no idea but couldn't resist saying that!
I just ran a market scan and the suggestion is that it's now entering a downward trend for the rest of the day.
With confirmation that WSG no longer intends to make a full bid for PPR, the sp fall is a bit dramatic, sp fall is overdone , PPR can now concentrate on its core business without the bid distraction. I still remain confident that consolidation in the sector will take place. PPR presents an even cheaper entry and access to the venture capital world for any would be prospective Co seeking a stock market listing

Thanks for clarifying, someone brought it up briefly on another site today.
Non whatsoever. PRIME is based in Egypt and only has regional offices in Dybai. The proposed cash injection for a 26% stake remains on track until further notice. Companies planned for floatation in the region will not be phased by the Dubai financial hickup, those oil rich Middle Eastern States will protect their interests at any and all costs, Western "men of straw" will pull out and try to find the next "honey pot". But the Arab billionaire states will invest as per usual where the takers of their money reside, that is, the city of london.

Just ran a noon scan to project things for the rest of the day on the market. Does not look good. Major miners look bad and insurers look bad, along with oils. The 'joking' summary I'd put into my software reads; SUMMARY Immediate market trend based on sector movements: Worth taking tomorrow off. Bad day : However, I'd no movements such as we've just experienced to trend for so it may be utter rot. I've not bothered posting the numbers in Premium Chat as they're all pretty negative.
Are you still in there, also your thoughts?

They've a nasty track record on doing consolidations or RI's anytime the SP gets into the 40-50 territory and I gave up speculating. It's actually the only share I still have the paper certificates for.
Just posted a note for you in premium. However, don't waste your time with COST. I've been holding them for 12 years (honestly) and simply get a nice wee cheque every year. SP does nothing interesting.
