Mr P..ain't soft..he has interests in the majority of Russki O&P..80% rebate..laughing !!,, Yes PTR should be eligible for the rebate..
http://en.rian.ru/russia/20130726/182442873/Russian-Tight-Oil-Company-Sees-Huge-Profits-in-New-Tax-Regime.html? I wonder if this new tax break for Russian company's will have any effect on PTR like it will with rpo???
100,000 buy! Does anyone know then the next rns is due? Or is it never this company?!
today for NO apparent reason sp drops to 2.71 than after nearly all day with no movement( as usual) rises to 2.95,than an hour later finishes off back at 2.71,and funnily enough a couple of buys went through at 2.95,they had all day to buy at 2.71,WHY BUY at 2.95??? because you know iy will drop,or do they know something for Monday?? Anyway nice little story in a boring going nowhere stock!
Why this is so low is beyond me,I know there are many AIM companies in the same boat but with a 2m buy just the other day etc, someone must know something,I'm down quite a bit average of 6p so theres along way to go for me unless its aas t/o or something,GLA.
Lots of shares have been bought and there has been no movement or it goes down. On some days ask and bid are the same - I would love to know whats going on. I have a feeling that someone does! The two pounds seventy pence - sell trade thats a "100 code" - "need shares" to those that believe in MM codes. Lets hope it goes up tha same tomorrow. Cheers Cast
Another one today 2 small sells and the next trade (a buy) is at 2.9p (up 7%) - big trades went thrugh yesterday and the ask dropped?
As per subject to buys over 800k (shares) obviously by the same person, something in the wind?????
Production increased from 2011 to 2012 (water under the bridge) but three months ago it was 2800 bpd, now 2600 again. It was hoped to break 3000 bpd by now - roughly the break even point. Davy expect 2500 - 2800 for the coming year without extra investment in drilling. We'd better pray for that farm in or debt restructuring.
Agreed. It's going to be a further wait to see how things develop. In essence it is these words from todays RNS which explain why the SP is @ 2.9: "These circumstances represent a material uncertainty that may cast significant doubt upon the Group and the Company's ability to continue as a going concern." IF they can get a farm in OR an acceptable restructuring of the debts then a great cloud will be lifted from this share! Big debt yes but P2 proven & probable of 131mmbo is not to be sniffed at in addition to a number of other possible exploration targets yet to be drilled. I also not that they have halted their drilling programme at Arbuzovskoye and intend to drill at least three further wells should the funding become available. Worth hanging onto IMHO.
Dibs - The market looks a bit underwhelmed by the reults - could be a slow burner, lets see what happens next week
Castaway - yep I would say the RNS was better than the apocalyptic scenario the SP had priced in. HOWEVER, they do need either a farm in (ideally) or a cash injection in the next six months or it could get very sticky. For me, with a relatively low average (3.8) it's worth the gamble because the rewards could still be high.
Yes results improving, debt being paid off, production stable and now all we need is a farm out - hopefully the bottom has been reached and its all up from here.
This is what is needed back to over 5p only a few days ago some were saying ptr could go bust i doubt that now excellent rns
Not as bad as I thought hopefully iii s think the same
RNS - well after all the doom and gloom. Revenue increased Production increased Pre tax loss dropped from $16M to $2M Capex $14M -2012 as against $65M - 2011 Increased 2013 production. Now let's see how the market reacts?
Correct that to August 2012.
PTR like waiting for a bus. You wait ages, then two come at once. Last year there was an operations update at the beginning of April. The next update was in September. If PTR follow last year's RNS timetable. We could be in for a quite a wait. Still optimistic. GL
If the news was going to be good the bod could not hold there tongues so look at the price and make your own mind up
I hope they are not going to wait til Friday because its bad news. There have been some big buys this week but its down 8% on Google this morning so I get the impression some think this is going lower.
