hows things going? poor few days for the market but my HOIL seem to be happy stay blue which is sweet of them. Should run out of steam soon though so hoping to get out around 340ish. TNI are looking more oversold every day but the volume is good so still waiting for under 50 to get in but may have to join Bob and Ivaylo before that as it could be a quick rise to 70. Because im such a pauper will have to chop Hoil and either buy into TNI or YELL but think Yell will be a more ferocious rise north when it finds a bottom stop. My buy in will hopefully be below 6p but that one can change at a moments notice which isn't too helpful!. Happy birthday for tomorrow stockster and have a great weekend everyone - next week should be a more settled and, with fortune, filled with blue everywhere!. PRTY well should remain quite stable for next week in my eyes can't see much movement up or down
I think i'll get my 50p buy in, as Ivaylo says, bit of catching a falling store, did note it hit 25p in 2008/9, but that was when FTSE mega low. I reckon might get a protracted bounce from 50 back to 70p, so at end of day be up - or so the plan goes. waiting for £1.70 on Prty, Win watching, LLoyds - views please. But i'm now 90% going to buy again at 60- 60.5 if i can get it.
out there the last 2 days. hopefully things will start to turn around soon. TNI killing me now but buying volume has been increasing so hopefully we wont go any lower. Turning 40 tomorrow so will have a weekend of pop drinking and partying! started last weekend to warm up so really up for it now. lots of bargains out there now though so lets hope we have a good next session :)
was out all day and what a day in the market it is so far . . . picked some KAZ at 1300 which am very happy with. Lloyds holding very well which is bullish. planning to buy Party again at 170-172 if we get there. TNI, a silly mistake so far :)
Holds again, so so tempting to buy more, but would be annoyed if predicted fall then came, we may look back in a week and rue not taking 60p.................decisions decisions, WIn and prty cont fall.........
I shall translate, I hope this is English :) The ices seems to be broken. Mr. Kurt Beck, MP of Rheinland Pfalz and his colleague Wolfgang Boemer, MP from Sachsen-Anhalt, said that the minister presidents [MPs] of the Laender [the different states] have taken position for the opening of the sports betting market in a controlled manner. On April 6, 2011, the MPs want to deliberate on the final draft of the alterations in the Glückspielstaatsvertrag [you can translate it with gambling treaty - a treaty among the GER states - if I am correctly informed] as this matter is with the Laender). "We basically agree on the procedure, we only have details to solve in context with sports betting. The question is the manner of the liberalisation. It could be the case that licences for private gambling companies could be given regionally [Laender] or nationally (Bund). In addition, we need to agree on how to structure safety mechanism like prevention measures. Currently, the Glückspielstaatsvertrag guarantees the governmental monopoly. It shall stay effectively for the lottery business. After the decision of the European Court of Justice, on Sept. 8, 2010, private gambling companies see their opinion confirmed that the limitations of the German gambling market are not anymore covered by the prevailing legal situation and that the monopoly of the state(s) is outdated. According to Mr. Beck (MP of Rheinland Pfalz), 90% of all sport betting is done illegally according to prevailing legislation. Thus, the state does give up on income which the socialist politician estimates to be EUR 5 bn EUR plus ..... [.... the residual text is more or less a collection of opinions of Teufelberger (CEO bwin) and a consultant ... till the last paragraph that is ..] Volker Bouffier, MP of Hessen, has recently raised hope for an opening of the market. We do not want to have uncontrolled growth. If people want to gamble, then [we should do it] in a controlled manner. This can only be achieved by a controlled opening, the conservative politician said.
you really think that divi will stay the same lol the yield is misleading but divi WILL be cut
thanks for the info, although the german one is hard to read :) If one state in usa legalize online gambling other will follow suit but we are still waiting for the first one ...
Las Vegas assemblyman introduces bill to legalize Internet poker By Howard Stutz LAS VEGAS REVIEW-JOURNAL Posted: Mar. 10, 2011 | 2:11 p.m. State lawmakers will consider a bill that could lead to Nevada legalizing Internet poker. Assemblyman William Horne, D-Las Vegas, has introduced a bill, backed by Internet gaming giant PokerStars, that would require the Nevada Gaming Commission adopt regulations allowing for Internet poker. Horne, who is chairman of Assembly Judiciary Committee, has set a hearing for the bill on March 24. The bill pertains only to poker and is centered on Nevada. However, if other states were to legalize Internet poker, gamblers in those jurisdictions could participate in the wagering activity. "Nevada has always been the leader in gaming," Horne said. "As such, we should remain the leader when it comes to Internet poker. This provides the state with another source of revenue." PokerStars hired former Assembly Speaker Richard Perkins to lobby for the company at the outset of the Legislative session. Contact reporter Howard Stutz at hstutz@reviewjournal.com or 702-477-3871.
The German heads of the Länder are ready to open the gaming market for private companies such as bwin (party). Well, this is finally good news. http://www.zeit.de/sport-newsticker/2011/3/10/f93b82c6be9625d711c7f3650e57afdc2c1xml
i mean with current SP and dividends its about 60% yield!! Whats not right with this company then?
why people are so obsessed with HMV? Lots of people i talk to have bought at some point HMV. Is it because of dividents and low price, that there is such huge interest? Any idea? Also i notice people taking interest in jjb and yell a lot as well.
indices tanked, correction is definitely in place. Bank sector is down, and a nice rally is coming. Will stan hold above 1600? RBS above 38? And lloy above 60p? We are about to see, today ftse dropped 1.55% while lloy only 1.35%. I doubt ftse would go lower than 5650 think around that there was a good support. So if ftse drops 3.5-4% at the most i think then even if lloy follows it should stop to around 58p but lets say with stop losses triggered it could go down to 54-55p and well maybe on a spike could go to 52, i really dont see anything lower than 52 for lloy happening at that time around. Unless lots of banks fail the stress tests that are coming and Portugal gets bailed out. Or credit rating of UK to go down. If those things dont happen 50's will be forgotten. TNI - keep tanking but lots of buys today, we could test 50p and bounce i dont see it falling below 50p then in less than 4 months period we would hit 80-90p (needs further evaluation once the fall stops and rally start) WIN - could not be mor undecisive - stopped right at the end of the triangle!! When i looked i could not believe it. It SHOULD fall as its a descending triangle but by the volume coming and looking at some indicator wont be surprised if it heads north, although my initial call is 117-120 could be even lower as uwinsome said below 110. Prty - volume sold is almost DOUBLE the volume bought, this still has a way down the road, glad i got out on the top. Next stop 175, then further evaluation but i think below 170 would happen again, and well i will be ready and fully loaded again :) Might take a bite at 175 though for a small spike up but it could be a nice steady free fall ... VED - got auto buys for 2151 and 2099 and hopefully the support will hold :) Honestly my top pick is lloy, my average is below 62, will top up on every support coming down the line and NO stop losses here, its a winner from every point of view in short-medium term, with offloading taking place at 69-70p then rebuying on breaking through the resistance, followed by next offload 78-80p and final sell at 88-90. I do strongly believe that lloy will hit 88-90 this year in fact it will be sooner rather than later, the channel gets even higher if later so 100p as has been recommended by santander i believe is highly possible, and come on easy money on a strong ftse company!!
Know a few on here deal in Yell - how do you cope with that board, what an awful place to be! Theres difference of opinion and theres down right looking for a fight and nastiness. Grayslands very bullish on them i see, i do like to take a chance, ie 888, but for me Yells one step to far, but fair play to those with big Kahooners!
i will buy at 5.5, need to unfortunately as ive still got some at 9p. need to trade my way out of that one. gulp
TNI, still on the fall, might join you guys at 50p as well ;-) Anybody thinking of buying some yell when it goes below 6p again....
Well DOW failed to impress closing below the 12000 mark, could be a real possibility for Lloyds to go below 60p now, im still holding some at 62.90 but will buy more when i see some real direction. What sort of averages you guys on lloyds.
ditto, ive got a 50.75 top up on TNI. Win- i sense a spike down before a rise. look at how the macd is edging towards positive, it'll fake out at the 0 line to suck in a new set of buyers then probably spike down to 107-110 before recovering. the indicators are sufficiently tepid to facilitate this. LLOY- hold your nerve, it'll be truly impressive if the 60p holds again. gotta be worth the gamble/patience? PRTY- hold tight, has netley not convinced you yet!!!? ps. Grays- so i got my PPC head ans shoulders target by hook or by crook! bought in today, good company, too cheap! lol
and off till Monday. TNI - Well i've a buy set for 50p - be interested to see if i get it, need a firm rise then. I don't think i've ever been so down on a share in my three yr trading. I really can't see it going much past this, i though results were good, just outlook was painted gloomy. Hopefully do an xch and hit 49 and then bounce real real high! Win - keeps bouncing back each day Ivaylo to close on 135 or above like today - do the charts read anything into that? Prty - thus from your previous post Ivaylo will now shed at least 6p as closed below 180. Personally i agree, but not to the tune of shortng it! Be interesting to see if the next Prty spike is just before ie week, or just after merger. any thought on prior experience in this would be appreciated, netley et al (old and wise - lol - aye!) 888 - went up, assuming on the now weekly, LAD have agreed a price rumour!, which will never come to fruition ! Although i will take huge satisfaction if this comes off! Lloy - buys still there , will wait for further direction
another tranche of tni, on the weekly shows its a buy
WIN seems have lost the small support it had, the descending triangle is playing out perfectly, like i said 117-120p would be my target entry price. Its turning into a prty :)
KAZ is an amazing buy at 13£ yes! the book is called mastering the markets assuming its the same book i read.
20EMA just wont let go the party, its proving to be a good support 180-182p, closing below 181 would invite another 6p drop for sure.
another 30 pips to drop and a buy? arkk: dont remember the name of the book, have to look it up, i have books in pdf format only
