Keith, Could I ask why we bothered with rigless testing in the first place rather than sand jetting if it is so superior and informative.
Because there was a last minute regulatory hitch and the delay meant that they were out of time with the crew that were flown over..... Roughly the excuse that was peddled out. They then decided that the quick approach would be to do rigless testing to test parts of it before the sandjet crew become available to do the rest.
Sand jetting is just a different way of perforating the pay zones. There are plenty of articles online showing it better than I can explain.
Perforating guns use explosives to fire them into the zone to be tested. This is a method used all over the world for many wells. In this instance they have not penetrated deep enough. Why they chose these gun sizes is a different matter.
If you look at BCEs recent rns they will also be using sand jetting perforations to improve the area of flow and reduce blockages that didnβt clear perfectly with standard perf guns.
Another option for cleaning up holes is acidizing to remove debris and blockages. But not necessary in this situation.
As a previous investor in fastnet and also holding too many shares here, has Paul ever been involved in a successful test?
Is this why he seems to be so afraid of them?
Aims23 the reason they went for guns, in order to hold on to the licence
In order to carry out Phase 1 rigless testing, conventional 111/16" perforating guns, being the only option available at the time to allow Phase 1 rigless testing to commence before 5 February 2024 and the end of the extension of the Initial Period of the Guercif Petroleum Agreement facilitated by Amendment #3, were used.

Are ROBs Twitter posts still relevant ??
The phase 2 sandjet operation is now to include MOU1
And what about mou1?
Was it not getting tested to flow gas upto 10mmcfgd..... no mention of testing mou1 just to check formation damage
Can see a raise coming , all these desperate testing measures cost money
Absolute shambles. Desperation measures by management and a forum of random old rampers.

Far more relevant than some of the tripe written here this morning.
So PRD have had a few drilling issues.
It happens! Itβs how they resolve the issue and move forward that counts.
The gas is still there albeit quite a bit seeped onto this board this morning and by the usual suspects as well. Who would have predicted that.
Good lord
Not likely to be any update now for some time. Shareprice will drift further back to 6 pence, where it normally sits.
Absolute car- crash update as usual!

The herd neither read the rns's or interpret them. Chipfat Bob being the worse. Unfortunately the sub-equatorial one has internet and apparently satellite access?? Inexplicable.
The Sandjet idea has been a pantomime from day dot but yes they do have a chance of salvaging the operation.
There is also a chance that the next wildcat ie MOU-5 will be a discovery.
All petroleum geologists have to test and conduct experiments i.e wells and testing. No amount of surface geology and sub surface imaging can replace the drillbit and perforation based testing.
