Louise - if you have shares in PMO pre merger then you will still have the same number of shares in Harbour Energy when the new company commences trading on April 1st. However, the total shares in issue of the new company will be such that you will own a smaller proportion of a much bigger and healthier company.
If I owned 100000 pmo shares does that mean after merger I own 5000 shares in new company? I really am at a loss at what to do.
Mughal
All that is happening to your premier oil shares is that the name is changing. Oh and we are issuing 17.5b new shares to harbour and PMO credItors.

20:1 will be ratio ,current PMO shareholders will get 5% Newco shares. Percentage is important ,not total amount of shares.
It will be 1 to 1 post merger.
Can someone please help?
Can't find this info anywhere...
Will the shares be 1:1..post merger??
Thanks!!
It looks like Brent is heading for 50s.
Looking to reinvest @25, out at 32, oil production likely to increase next month imho
1st April might be the day I get back in, no joke! ;)
The fall is getting out of control
Just announced on the news that France Germany Spain and Italy to resume doing jabs
ridiculous the way the market can manipulate prices at will, in for another bad day here tomorrow, thankfully i am in for the long term and will look past the odd bad days, lets see where we are in the 3rd quarter this year when Tolmount comes online to give extra production to the enlarged group, gla.
Mothercare (MTC) went through their own debt for equity swap on 12th March and Iām pretty sure our experience will be similar to theirs. Today they have issued several RNSs advising who the new main shareholders are and this has galvanised the shares. I believe in early April we will get similar RNSs issued by Harbour identifying our new main shareholders and for once they will not all be Goldman Sachs. This alone will start lighting a touch paper under the shares.
Current price is a buying opportunity
I got in with a healthy buy in thr 27s in the closing minute. Showing as a sell but what a bargain imo.
dollar strengthening and worries about covid jab rollout stalling.
Just a knee jerk reaction to the build in inventories. They haven't clued in that all of these inventories are going to be needed once the economy opens up real soon. Nothing to see here. Move along.
Anyone know why it has dropped quite so much this afternoon? At this rate you could be forgiven for thinking there will be no recovery at all this year. I'm aware of the increased inventories Stateside but the US economy is about to go through a strong recovery apparently, so much of the reserves will accommodate that? Looks like an over-reaction to me....
I topped up again today, when I sold at 32p the POO was $/Barrel 70+ and we are at 65! This drop is relative and not worth worrying about as we are in the same basket as the major oil producers now....just take a glance at shell & BP: we cannot use TLW's growth as a comparison because they are on a different curve at the moment.
Keep the faith and reap the rewards.!!

Give the fella a carrot for that nugget of information!
.
It was only a few short months ago that uk gov. & media were crapping on Russian vaccine & now EU is doing the same to our Vaccine and we are all up in arms, people in glass houses .....
Anyway the good news for everyone is that i am back in PMO, first time since last summer, never lost a penny on this horse.
BP used to be owned by the UK government. They are referencing that it has never been government owned.
because the leaders of the EU have suspended use of the Astra Zenica vaccine. Do these people have any intelligence? Do they not realise every day any covid vaccine is not used = hundereds of deaths????
All IMHO.
Could someone explain what is meant when it is said that the new company will become the largest 'Independent' Oil company in the UK.
Is BP not 'Independent' ?
I am out
55564 shares sold don't think I will get back in here better opportunities elsewhere
On the other hand, there's been a demolition job in the oil markets this afternoon. Now down $2.30
