I think it iscertainly the case that any significant buying would result in a very marked jump in the s/p given the apparent sensitivity to quite small volume.let's hope it's positive news when it arrives.as to fum,yes no real reacrtion to the news at all . whilst i doubt the saudi market is anything of substance in the overall world context,it is yet another regulatory approval and these thing are not givens ,so it is another real achievement.seems like the jury continues to be out pending detail on sales and margins. hard to imagine however that with increasing world exposure the risk reward ratio is not moving back in favour of reward.im still on the sidelines but keeping an eye on things.the RNS is on the main london stock exchange site as i checked first thing this morning. incidentally eroxon was advertised on GB news here in the uk last night.first time I've seen it,but it may have been on for a while without me seeing it.
That should read as “Would not want to attract attention”.
Morning The.Italian,
It is anyone's guess given past history, however. Since it has basically risen everyday for the last week. One cannot ignore some news has been leaked, particularly since only small volumes are involved. This certainly could support positive news because any one buying would want to attract attention to themselves with reduced free float of shares and the consequences of significant rises on any large buys. All speculation on my part, but something is a foot.
I see Saudi may have received approval for Eroxon, although there doesn't appear to be an RNS about it yet. The SP certainly appears to being held back. With the recent news one would still expect a small rise instead of stagnation.
Morning bignose. yep, get those sells in there! lol. on a serious note i do hope you' re right that it is good news.the continuing silence re the SPA has got me quite concerned, but there must surely be an update in the results by end of august,i f not before.
Well a 10k share sell and up she pops 11%. It would seem the current level is around 1 HK Dorrar.....lol.
There has got to be news released soon...... even bad news, although from the recent rise, it surely has to be good. :-)
Well someone must be kicking themselves as it closed abt 18.5% lower than they paid. Certainly not conducive to make new investors jump in. Of course, whoever it was will still make money on the news, but they could have been 18% better off……lol
Morning all.agree that we should get china approval(all being well of course)within next15/18 month and perhaps slightly sooner.should hear confirmation of NDA submission by or shortly after end of september. re FDA, i'm getting more concerned as time passes without news of the SPA.i assume that if they had reached agreement we would be told immediately as it would be good news which the would want to disseminate(unless the requirements are too onerous to attract a third party?).so either they have failed to reach agreement(which they probably wouldn't announce specifically, but just include in some periodic update)or else they are still discussing.just speculation and could be wrong, but concerning that time goes on with nothing being said.just on DLI,i assume they don't formally announce these tie ups as they are simply not material.that said,i am mildly encourage(i emphasise mildly)by the fact that we have had 3 in quite short order.perhaps there will be some material benefit eventually in aggregation.i imagine these developments are down to our very own Deep, and i hope that perhaps they may now have someone in that division who actually has some vision and drive.what they really need ,imo,is some tie up with a life company or actuarial body, as that could actually move the needle.will it ever happen, who knows! anyway, regardless of what has been happening, less that a month now till half year results, so some news by then no doubt.
Other than Bothwell's medication?
I should think definitely China approval next year, however. I wouldn't bet my life on FDA approval in the next couple of years given the historic incompetence of those involved. Of course, my view could possibly change if the reigns of the approval process were handed over to a licensee with clout, but given no one has wanted to commit after all these years of allusions, why would it be any different now, even with a SPA. It's not like the sales exercise did anything to help, did it ?
Care to elaborate Bothwell?
as far as I can see nothing of substance has changed
I have renewed hope of US & China approval in the next couple of years…..
Would be good to get some communication from the company about these developments and what they could lead to instead of shareholders having to scour the internet, also some communication about the plan for DLI to make money !!
last weeks rise washed away today, knew it was too good to be true.
Https://www.insiderecent.com/chi-longevity-opens-medical-suite-in-singapore-52398.html have now found this, which gives a bit more substance.interesting that they plan to open other centres over time.
Https://www.eurekalert.org/news-releases/997230 and another one.not much info on chi longevity.seems to be a wellness centre in singapore. again nothing of any real substance, but interesting that its adoption seems to be growing.
Granted. One could argue some of it was under the Endurance heading, however. It was all initiated by Regent who just passed the hat and have taken it back again....
Reasons for the Change of Company Name
The Board considers that the change of Company name back to “Regent Pacific Group Limited” is more appropriate as the
current name has led to confusion of the Company’s image and brand among its key stakeholders, and furthermore the current name is failing to stand out. The Board, therefore, considers that reverting back to its original name will more accurately reflect its business and future direction.
Certainly all a bit questionable.... Which key stakeholders want the name change? There is only one and he's the one who initiated the change in the first place. "Failing to stand out" surely Regents past history for misleading shareholders. missing all their own milestones and failing to get the product FDA approved in a timely manner, due to incompetence, is something they really wouldn't want to draw attention to...... :-O.....lol
Still a long way from those wishes coming true bothwell.. on previous track record we will slip back this week to where we started last week ha ! maybe the boost was from the name change for some strange reason. still don't know why we have changed the name back and forth either?
I hope tomorrow is the day we see the Money Fountain start to come to fruition!!!!!!!!
Well no news yet. monday will be interesting to see if we get news and whether the s/p holds.goes up or falls back down (yes I've finally got the hang of this investing malarkey!).see if it's just a momentum play, or whether, as we hope, there is some substance behind it.
Given the rise today, keep them peeled for any announcement activity this evening (HK time). Pure speculation on my part, but why not given the recent rise……it could be a possibility ;-)
Certainly looks like it.
Something is definitely going on as we know this is not normal behaviour to see the price going up instead of down !
For a short moment it even touched the dizzy heights of 19+%, yet suddenly dropped back to 9%. Certainly some heavy swings on low low volumes....
Morning bignose.yes, will be interesting to see if the rises do presage some positive news. i suppose the china submission is a given,so if it is positive news on the SPA i would be very pleased,as it might just lead to a US partner to carry it through, which would,i hope give the s/p a significant boost.not holding my breath on the SPA though,so more likely anticipation of china news. we shall see.
Well another 13% rise as I write, plus the other 3 days of constant rises and contrary to my historic expectations. This surely could make one think there has been a leak of positive information (on purpose given the few number of employees in HK who would be willing to risk exposure? ).
It certainly makes one wonder if there will be an update prior to the interims being released. I certainly would play my hand on the China submission (more likely since we then wait 9 month to a year, if not sooner, for a positive result) or the Result of the FDA phase II closure and issuance of a SPA. (mind you, we would still have to wait maybe 3 years before there is any sign of FDA approval which could be even longer given its taken 5 years for the phase II to be closed out. And of course there is still a big IF regarding that one).
Interesting next few days or weeks.
