Protos plans have always been to use PHE tec to supply the attached hydrogen filling station that would refuel Hydrogen for HGV’s.
I believe that will be a reality in 2 to 3 years when by that time PHE will be a well known company who led the way to rid the world of waste plastic.
Just wait until the first car ads appear on TV, possibly sometime next year. I think the market will grow really fast as our existing petrol station network introduces hydrogen pumps. The oil companies will no doubt cash in on the growing demand. I think electric will continue but, hydrogen will in the longer term overtake electric, especially for larger heavier vehicles including lorries and buses.
HGV Hydrogen filling stations are kicking of in france !!

Think that long term it's going to be easier to transport hydrogen in the same way we transport petrol? as it will be to build the network etc that will handle the amount of electricity needed to supply everyone putting their car on charge at night. We're already switching off the turbines at times because the grid is full (as far as has been reported anyways). Think the internal combustion engine has a few miles left to go yet before hydrogen /electric becomes the norm... but it's coming.
Hi Steamy... Think the future would need to be switching from internal combustion engine to electric that uses hydrogen as the fuel source as opposed to electric charging. So you've got the benefit of having no gears etc like at present, but not the problems with re-charging etc
Hard to say. Hydrogen as it is, is a gas and is highly explosive. The grail is to have hydrogen mixed in a compound (like petrol / diesel is etc), but without the carbon. I believe there has been some progress in this recently.
Imo, it's become apparent that the infrastructure for a majority ev country will be very very expensive. And it needs careful consideration as to whether this is the route to go down.
Electricity is more easily exportable than a gas or liquid mind. Which makes it better for a grid.
Karl
Unless of course you burn the hydrogen which immediately converts it into electricity, 'on the go', with enough to buffer any extra power required in case of rain, hills, cold and heavy loads.
Right, that's everything solved now. All I want is a SP of £5+, or £2 might do.
Better go and take my tablets...... LOL
Question.....
Will current petrol or diesel engine motors be able to cope with a 'conversion' to hydrogen fuel?
Will that not be like filling the car up with aviation fuel? Ie: Running hot.....very hot?
Even so, I'd rather have hydrogen than electric.
Unfortunately we would probably still have gears and all that clabber that electric cars don't have.
Steamy
Agree 100% Number 6... Whilst electric might work for many a driver that travels limited distances and has the luxury of off street parking for home charging, the ability to re-fuel at a roadside service station in the same way we do at fuel stations presently is exactly what's needed and is the game changer when it comes to switching from petrol and diesel powered vehicles. Imagine Hydrogen power will very much be the future for transport. Great news for the likes of phe surely.
It won't be long before Hydrogen Fuel Cell cars start attracting the attention of the British motorist. No need for heavy batteries or recharging issues especially for those who live in apartments or terraced properties etc..

It's coming for sure.
Yes I am a bit younger than most of the posters on here 🤣
Hi Castle, you have a ways to go to catch the rest of us up :-)
Happy Easter all..
Happy Easter All , thought o would treat my self to a PHE Easter egg 2k buy @ 1.113
Get in before patent news and kids holidays finish can see this over 2p very soon ..

They were but like you say, I couldn’t buy large amounts. Instead could to buy in smaller amounts.
Howie if your reading this could you confirm if HL still not giving buy orders.
No quote from HL could mean they know this is going higher and hanging onto their sells for now.
I get the feeling if the board had waited until October to announce the grant of the european patent, this would have gone through without challenge... Lessons to be learnt.
Below is a exerp from the Proactive site.
The project's approach is technology-agnostic, deferring the decision on which hydrogen technology to deploy until necessary approvals are secured to ensure project viability.
Pat , I do understand your point , the whole point of being In this game is to use our fuel chamber not bothered about who's makes the rest of the tec also different system for electric from syngas .
The pair of them CEO seem very dizzy ,, weird they were .

Each to their own regarding the importance of Patents.
IMO: A company granted IP protection, if worthy, adds multiples to its value, so long as it has the resources to protect against infringements. I would suggest the company is also more vulnerable to negotiating favorable licencing fees without protection. In short Bob The Builder could be employed to reverse engineer the first build, what then? Fingers crossed on a favorable judgement from the High Court of Justice.

H2hoo
As I said, he said who’s tec meaning it may not be PHE’s at least that’s the way I understood it to mean.
Just to remind you, DMG uses leeches its feedstock, which leads to the production of CO2. In contrast, HUI has opted for an all-electric alternative. However, you need to take into account the operational expenses for electricity consumption with HUI. The decision on which technology to go for ultimately depends on how eco-friendly you want it to be. The Just Transition Fund appears to be focused on promoting green production, but whether the use of electricity is any less harmful to the environment remains a topic of debate.
