Yeah I seen those but the quantities didn't match the amount paid also this board seems to have been reserected so just a glitch
Bizarre - must have been a glitch on my computer - was showing £100K trades all over the shop... all gone back to normal today
there's still questions that need answering but does anyone really care the private investor..
Look at the trades now listed for December 22 and earlier - millions of pounds worth. At first I smelled a rat but on further inspection, it looks like a glitch in the system throwing up random and massive trades. Take a look.
....as this hurtles towards oblivion, I thought I would look back at my history of the share. First purchased in Nov 2006 and bought 10,000 @ all in £2069.69. This must have been on a roll at that time as four days later I sold the 10,000 to net £1002.85 profit - should have stopped there. Instead, over the next eight years I added 200,000 - yes, and lost the lot....!!.
notice the change above...."share price information" disappeared....is it only a matter of time now before this BB goes the same way? News from the administrators cant come soon enough imo, we need to know now if this is a dead dog or whether a tiny glimmer of light still exists for Oxs.........
The Joint Administrators' proposals will be published on this website prior to 22 March 2016; http://www.bdo.co.uk/services/business-restructuring/oxus-gold-plc-in-administration Hopefully this will answer some of our questions. BW
I think reading Papillon's posts he might really like that Schofield. He certainly likes sucking his own over there. Be safe and keep 'em zipped up.
Its gone mate move on and get used to it either that or SU*K MY BIG ONE
good evening Insider trading. yes but only if you bought the shares outside an ISA and only when HMRC DEEM IT to be of neglible value or when the administrators confirm nothing for shareholders, which seems likely. Not if you had a spread bet as gains aren't taxable but conversely losses are not available for relief. The loss is available for offsetting against your capital gains in this current tax year 2015/16 or if not relieved, against future capital gains.
Must be a mistake ... its the same on my Halifax account
Oxus, Which now shows as 4408 in my Halifax share dealing account is now showing a value again ? 4408 LSE Avg Cost Per Share 3.6736 Latest Price (p) ** 4.10*** Change (p) 0.43 ??
Just had this pop up in my trading account documents: Oxus Gold has announced the appointment of Malcolm Cohem and Shane Crooks of BDO LLP as joint administrators to the company on 27th January 2016. A dedicated webpage has been set up to provide further information regarding the administration: http://www.bdo.co.uk/services/business-restructuring/oxus-gold-plc-in-administration
surely not yet wait until the administrators report...
Yes, if it's not in an ISA.
Can I claim this as a tax loss
Now showing EXTINCT It is now a dead share it has ceased to be RIP Oxus gold
Thanks. Likewise, anything would be a bonus.
Simply delisting, 1p was the nominal value, no point in paying the costs if the company isn't trading. At this moment in time i'm expecting nothing so anything would be a bonus.
Hi all, new poster but long term investor in oxs. What does the statement ordinary shares 1p fully paid actually mean. Does this mean that investors will be fully paid the 1p stated value back? Or am i being too hopefull?
Yes, I noticed over on ADVFN, the mention of no, serious investigation journalists coverage of the OXUS story. Would be good to read all about it; ( tune https://youtu.be/vaAVByGaON0 ). BW
Yeah..he seems it. He called me back after Christmas and spent 20 minutes on the phone with me despite having a busy schedule and taking loads of calls
Cheers petty he sounds like a sound guy
Regarding drone pilots and training - they're actually hoping that a main part of the business will be the software solutions - which is ahead of the game at the moment and being developed further in cahoots with a few Universities.. So, parat from the training part, it's not really the drones themselves, but the software, and reading, collating of data, then providing a bespoke solution. Jesus...I actually sound like I know what I'm talking about . Mind you, I do like to blue sky think.
Schofield...yes...er...I've not idea what shape they are actually...maybe they're square...er Regarding Aero - I know what you mean about psychologically being in the red, and I do think there will be a placing soon. However, if you believe in th story, this could be the best time to get in before the herd arrive. If you have a look at the share graph from September, this can jump quickly - and if they firm up revenues as expected, I would hope this will not be under 8p by summer. However, as you say, if they are going to be successful, 8p will seem like chicken feed and CEO is targeting £1...BUT, you're right, staying ahead of the game is vital. If they don't they'll be outswam and swamped by much bigger fish - or , on the positive side, taken out at a premium.. They're hoping getting the first FAA certification in the US might be a big thing - they're still waiting on that. This link to a recent presentation (and after questions are v good) probably sums it up best: (ignore the initial cheesy video presentation he starts with) http://www.tech-capital.com/companies/stocktube/4644/strat-aero-ceo-talks-future-of-drone-technology-4644.html
